Ein nettes Hotel, mit sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Personal. Kostenlose Parkplätze, Spabereich , Innen - und Außenpool, Fitnessstudio, Bar und Restaurant stehen ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Das Hotel Vale de Navio ist mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Auf dem ersten Blick und den Fotos im Internet ist alles soweit okay. Während des Aufenthaltes einpuppt sich dieses Hotel jedoch als Katastrophe. Es fängt damit an, dass man für jede Zimmerreinigung am Vortag persönlich an der Rezeption erscheinen muss um diese anzumelden. Andernfalls wird das Zimmer am Folgetag nicht gereinigt - angeblich aus Gründen der Umwelt. Die Armaturen im Badezimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen (Fotos beiliegend) - auf den öffentlichen Strandtoiletten im Umkreis sind die Armaturen teilweise in einem besseren Zustand. Das Frühstück ist eine reine Zumutung. Das Frühstück sieht teilweise aus wie auf einem Wühltisch. Täglich das gleiche: eine Wurstsorte, eine Käsesorte - ungenießbares Rührei. Einzig der Kaffe ist in Ordnung. Wir hatten sogar zweimal das Glück und haben Scharben gesichtet. Das Personal hat diese mit dem Schuh auf Anfrage auch wortlos „eleminiert“. Die Sauna und das Dampfbad waren übrigens ohne Funktion. Restaurants gibt es zufällig, bis auf eine Imbissbude übrigens nicht. Wir sind maßlos entsetzt von diesem Hotel.

Large & airy rooms! We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and seemed to be renovated in the last 5 years. The breakfast was ok. Lots of parking and good wifi. A bit remote - not many things within a safe walking distance. There were strange rules associated with the stay - such as having to request room service each day you wanted it (or you could skip for a 3€ coupon for the bar) and strict towel rules.

The gym is old and rusty. Mechanical maschines need maintenance and some oil. Because of the location in a room near a very warm inside pool no electric machines. The mechanical ones rust away, the humidity is too high. Suggestion: better closing doors; ventilation and rust protection. Build fysica tells a very warm space with a pool next to a cold air conditioned fitness room will always give difficulties with condens. A second glass wall in line with the old one with ventilated space in between and a condenswaterlane can be a solution. Otherwise don't heat the inside pool that much or don't cool the gym too much (What seems to be the approach now), but that last option doesn't make sense for the gymnasts. Locate the gym elsewhere f.e. where now is the laundry near the outsidepool and place that backwards further away. That laundry room makes too much noise at night. But what to do with the old gym room? More space in the winter for daybeds? A hamman? For free options take care of the climate by putting a second glass wall. The space between will isolate and collect the condenswater All the dumbells are gone. Ask at the reception if the airco is not on. They have the remote control. At night the machines off the outsidepool (?) vibrate the building and wakes me up a couple of times every night. Has something gotten in to the water pipes? The water is definitely not clear although it looks beautiful green on the picture it should be transparent isn't it. Too much alga, too less chloor or salt? Something out of order? Maybe maintenance?

We spent two weeks here in an appartement. It was great! Big rooms with a little balcony, great bed, free WiFi, everything was clean. You can park your car for free. There is a breakfast buffet with a lot of choice. The pool is not big but it’s perfect for a quick swim after a day out ( there’s also an indoor pool). They even have a gym! But the most important is the fact that the staff treats you like a VIP, they are all so helpfull and take the time to listen to you en they solve your problems. I can recommend this place!

STAY AWAY!!! We booked 3 nights, and *each* of the 3 nights the Air Conditioning was broken. There was absolutely no ventilation in the rooms. They could not provide us with as much as a fan to move air around because, "all the fans were loaned out." It's a known issue at the hotel but they aren't interesting in resolving it!!! The staff report that it's an ongoing issue affecting a third of the hotel!! At the end of the day, if you aren't sleeping comfortably, nothing else at the hotel matters!!! If you want to sleep comfortably and rested, book elsewhere!!! 0/5!!!

Nice and clean. The restaurant was really good. The room was spacious and modern. The breakfast was good but a bit of variation would have been great. The sauna in the spa area did not work properly.

This hotel is fine. The staff are fine but they do not have any of the extra services that the website claims . No bike rental, no scooter rental, no snorkel rental, no direct access to hiking trails, no free in pool scuba trail as claimed on website. No golf options. And the food is not great, quality and options on food are not great. This is at best a 2 star hotel experience

Very professional and modern hotel with a large indoor and outdoor pool. Comfortable rooms with all the amenities. Friendly helpful staff, we had a very quiet relaxing stay. The location isn't the best, with only a few quiet restaurants in the local area and not much to see.

Not recommendable. Come here only as a last resort. They have in place a policy to not do your rooms. There is an attempt to justify this with the environment but obviously, making the room and tidying up has nothing to do with it. They give you a 3€ voucher per room for the bar when even a milk coffee costs that much. Also, they dont even let you use it for a room coffee, which at first glanced seemed to be part of their service. On the last day, they also canceled our room cards at 9am, so we couldn't get back in after breakfast. Had to go back to reception so they let me back onto my own room where all my stuff was. It needs a lot of improvement to justify their price and these supposed 4 stars.

We here, just got here....amazing amazing amazing....just by the greetings and explanations of the reception personnel , the politeness and care about our enjoyment stay tells me we are going to have amazing time....

Rooms were decent. Hotel is centrally located if you have a car (you need a car to stay here as nothing of interest is really walking distance). Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and gym equipment were all broken when we were there. It was impossible to get a massage. Breakfast was okay. Dinner, lunch and drinks are more expensive than other places on the island. The cocktails were poor.

Great hotel for visiting the North Western part of Sao Miguel. Very friendly people. But the bathroom was a bit old fashioned and the hallway is not soundproof. You can hear people on the hallway when you're in bed.

Hotel ist super gelegen, wenn man viele Ausflüge auf der Insel geplant hat. Service ist nicht 100% Dienstleistungsorientiert aber trotzdem sehr freundlich. Frühstücksservice ist regelmäßig zu den Stoßzeiten überfordert und man muss länger warten aber ist akzeptabel. Preisleistung ist sehr gut! Leider ist Saune und Dampfbad nicht sehr einladend.

sehr schönes Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend, das Appartement hat alles, was man braucht. Einzig die Sauberkeit könnte verbessert werden. Der Rent-a-Car Service im Hotel lief ebenso reibungslos, der Kollege hat uns kostenfrei vom Hotel zum Abholpunkt gefahren ☺️

Very nice place with extremely helpful service. Quiet and pleasant location. We enjoyed the two swimming pools - very warm indoor and cooler outdoor. The breakfast was excellent - buffet with huge variety. Fresh ground coffee in the espresso machine. The apartment (a one-bedroom on the main floor) was very adequate. Very nice spacious bathroom. The very small kitchenette was fairly well equipped. The appliances are showing their age though (stove elements rusting and difficult to control the temperature; fridge working well, but rusting exterior), and there were no outlets for charging devices without unplugging lamps etc. The hotel side of the complex is much newer. I would highly recommend this accommodation as a base for touring São Miguel island and it was good value for money.

Good size rooms with comfortable beds. Fridge was not working and the reception did not make any attempts to fix it. Bathroom is ok but could use som deep cleaning with some mildew in the showers. Pool is very shallow and located in between the two buildings.

We had a great time in one of the apartments. Definitely would come back.

This hotel is lovely! Very comfortable with an impressive and tasty breakfast buffet, beautiful pools (indoor and outdoor), jacuzzi, etc.I didn't try the gym so can't comment. The rooms are very pleasant with very comfortable beds. Staff are super friendly. I don't usual bother reviewing hotels but thought I'd make an exception because the last few negative reviews put me off booking a longer stay. I now regret only staying one night! Genuinely baffled by the recent negative reviews.

The hotel was good and has all the commodities that a major hotel has in any place of the world.

Nice base for visiting the island if you have a rental car, clean and tidy rooms but lighting in bathroom was quite dark. Lovely surroundings and the sea isn't too far away, nice balconies too.

I would rate it about a three and a half to a 4 🌟 hotel. Basic but very clean well kept. Breakfast buffet was very good. When I book this hotel I thought it was closer to the ocean. Was kind of deceiving when I booked it they made it seem like it was on the ocean front. 🤔

Booked a weeks holiday in August and I can't praise the staff and room high enough. The apartment is excellent, having two bedrooms, living room and cooking facilities. Nothing had been too much trouble for the hotel team and they've made our stay extra memorable on what has been a holiday of a life time.

For me the hotel is excellent overall. The rooms are basic but nice overall and clean. Staff is good. Breakfast is not bad but there is no ground coffee, just instant. The hotel is 15' drive from the airport and close to sea as well as few restaurants. There is indoor and outdoor pool as well as gym sauna and hamam. I like and I would come back

Everything was very nice no doubts. Only smell from pipes in our room made this time not absolutely perfect
