If you go to Italian places because you like fresh pasta, maybe skip this place. Only two out of their 12 pasta dishes use fresh pasta, which was a big disappointment for me since I've heard many people say this was an amazing Italian restaurant. Service was ok, the view is great, but I'm not interested in returning.

I've been to this place some times, most of the times were for lunch. This last time we went for a work lunch, and although we got there after 1 pm we were still able to get a table for the 4 of us. We had pizza and the daily pasta suggestion. Everyone liked their dish, and the amount of food was pretty good. The pizzas are of great size. We also had the "sangria", Lambrusco with syrup, it was pretty nice :) Some of us also had dessert. It was a bit expensive, we paid 23€ per person, so this is quite a costly work lunch. But the service is fast, the food is nice, and the view is awesome.

This restaurant sits over the Douro River near the Arabida bridge. The views of the river are spectacular. We sat downstairs at a window table. My wife and I had the burrata salad and shared a Diavola Pizza. Others in our party had pasta and main courses. The food has improved compared to our earlier experiences a couple of years ago during the pandemic. Service was good. The downstairs restaurant does not seat for dinner until 7:45 PM so take note so you are not waiting in the lobby. The restaurant was originally built as the site office for the construction of the Arabida Bridge. I'm glad they kept the wonderful location.

You come here for the views. They are amazing. The food. Worst food (Italian) I’ve ever had. I don’t say that lightly. It was really bad. I don’t know how you burn pasta but they managed it

It's lovely place to enjoy on warm weather, with a privileged view over Douro river. The food is also very good, and it did not disappoint even after some years. If we were to point something out it would be service quality, which could be more swift and attentive.

The pizza was a great thin crust, toppings and cheese were plentiful! The fungi pizza grand!!!!! Their picante pizza amazing too! Salad 🥗was just the right compliment. The Pièce de résistance was the view over the water as the sunset, spectacular!!!!!

Nice thin pizza. Calm with splendid views at the river. The bathroom needs maintenance, it's quite old compared to the restaurant.

We found Casa d’Oro by chance and boy where we lucky. Amazing pizza with one of the best moon rises I’ve ever seen. A great night was made perfect by having Celeste as our server, she was very helpful and even brought us some blankets when she noticed we where chilli. Will definitely go back

Fabulous. Excellent pizzas, an extensive menu with quite a few creative innovations. They have a beautiful terrace overlooking the Douro, which makes it perfect for Covid vulnerable or aware customers. Staff are friendly, efficient, and non invasive. The view... even if the rest was not so good, I'd still say this place is worth coming from afar.

Lovely food in a very quaint restaurant. Amazing views of the river well worth a look. It can be a bit confusing to get to get but yes it is the building with steps up the outside. If it looks like the door is locked there is a handle to the right of the door that goes up to a window. Pull it you will get let in assuming they have space ofc! You should hear a bell ring and then be granted entrance to the palace of river views and pizza!

Incredible location. Food pretty good and friendly staff. Bring a jacket if you're eating at night and sitting on the upper floor. Can't overstate just how exciting the view is, you see both up and down the river. Would love to go back.

Food was once better, although keeps above average - also applies to the service. Most probably the touristic demand growth lead to relax the quality for profit. But, the location is still as unique as always was, so it's worthy to have a meal here.

Waiting for 20min for someone to come and serve us and another 20min to bring 2 beers. Not very pleasant personal. Kinda rude. Two stars are for location and the view.

Fantastic views of the river Douro & bridge. Architecturally interesting building. Restaurant interiors could do with a bit of modernization

Very beautiful place to grab a coffee or have lunch or dinner view of the sea on one side and the river on the other. Would recommend it anyone coming to porto must try scenic place.

One of my favourite restaurants in Porto. Great pizzas and views from the top terrace of Ponte da Arrábida. It’s next to river and parking on street around the area. Quick turnaround in restaurant and informal tables sharing with other people.

The views are amazing! The food and service was good as well. Just make sure you don't order an aperol or campari spritz. They don't know how to make it. Other than that, the white wine was great!

The atmosphere and locale is excellent. The views are amazing and has a romantic setting. Although no English on the menu, we went with server's recommendations and it was a hit. Food and wine was scrumptious. I recommend this restaurant, try to get a window seat.
