Fantastic, don’t believe the ‘simple’, called in whilst passing through , stayed on nearby campsite, found on google and arrived at opening “”host was great, recommended wine etc, food best we’d had in Portugal, couldn’t believe the price !! Again don’t miss this place.

The server was really kind, the food excellent with a mention for the soup 👍. Served quickly and in a nice place, simple but lovely.

Beautiful food and exceptionally nice and friendly service that go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience! We did not have a reservation and the restaurant was full but looked so nice and cosy that we went for a walk around the town (which by the way is gorgeous) until a table frees up. It was so worth the wait! Lots of delicious food options to enjoy and share. Thank you!

We stopped in Guarda for an overnight stay and had a very nice dinner at Simple.Guarda. We very friendly greeted by Antonio, the owner, and had a number of very nice dishes this evening. Food quality, service and the mandatory COVID precautions were all done to the highest standards. @Antonio - thank you for recommending the Tres Castas red wine. It was marvellous to have it with some local Portuguese food and close to the Beach. We will visit again, when we are in the area.

Simple is the name of the restaurant, it’s Simple to get there ! great What a great meal to end a tiresome day of travel , driving and not knowing how to speak Portuguese . Atmosphere, excellent service, good wine list and delicious food made for a wonderful dinner experience. The restaurant was full which is nice, it’s sad to be in an empty restaurant. My only regret is that I was too full to order dessert and I learned they are known for their desserts. I had an appetizer, salad and main dish and did not have enough room for dessert. Also I forgot to mention the relaxed vibe, there were families with kids as well as people on dates.

I go there regularly, I love it! Good food and service, with plenty of vegetarian options. Try the white chocolate mousse and the mascarpone dessert called Geo Estrela - too good!

We had a great experience with Simple.Garda. We arrived just before the restaurant opened and we met the owner who was kind enough to let us in early. He was also very helpful in providing thoughtful recommendations, talking us through the menu and asking us what we felt like having. The food itself was very tasteful, delicious and well presented. Don’t hesitate if you’re considering getting some food here, in the restaurant or takeaway, you won’t be disappointed!

There was no seat available at the time we went, but the person in charge didn't seem interested in our type of client because he didn't offer another dining schedule, but tried sending us to a seafood place instead. Also, NOT kid friendly, they have a warning saying that all children must remain seated at all times. I will not try to eat there again...

Excellent menu detection, food tasty and quite unusual in Portugal: risotto with farinera was great!

From the outside it looks very simple but inside it’s very cute and attractive. The food was delicious and probably the best I have had in Portugal in the last month. Home cooked food served by a lovely owner. The restaurant was full of locals at lunchtime which shows that it has a good reputation. Dessert of apple strudel with homemade port ice cream was amazing. Absolutely delicious and great value for money

Excellent experience. Food was amazing and beyond expectations. Ratatouille and a beef with mushrooms dish in red wine sauce. Both with pasta. Flavor was amazing. Chef definitely knows how to take something simple and make it special. Our only complaint we were too full for dessert. Our one dinner for our one day in Guarda simply could not have been any better. Highly recommended as a fine dining experience. Thank you.

Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to try any food of this restaurant. I walked in without reservation and the waiter was very rude turned us down made us feel not welcome to the place. I went to spend my pounds elsewhere. Will never go back again.

We had pasta and codfish and it was well made. The portions were quite large at least for us. A cozy small restaurant with great service

Very nice and hidden spot in Guarda for the best Italian food. Very friendly staff and enough choice on the menu. Prices are very friendly.
