This is a lovely secluded beach that can be easily reached by a coastal path that's starts at the View in Salema and runs through a small wooded area before following the coast, following the blue arrow.....when we got there the tide was al.ost fully in so only a small strip of sand to lie on but there is a rock shelf to lie on . There were a couple of fishermen on the headlands but no one else ....could therefore enjoy the sun and sea naked....I think Elfi may have taken a picture of me from a distance .later on another couple joined us on the beach ...and likewise the husband enjoyed the beach as God intended...the fort further on was a bit disappointing.

Gorgeous little beach 15 minute walk from salema. It is long and shallow so it may be large or nonexistent based on the tides. When we were there it was mid tide and so we had some sand but not as much as some other photos. I would avoid this beach if it is a high tide or the wind is coming from the water because you may not have any sand. Secluded enough to be clothing optional as long as you're tasteful about it. There is a little cave where you can be shaded provided the tide is not too high.

Awesome beach secluded and probably seldom crowded because of its location. It is a 10 minute hike to the beach from the parking. But doable in a pair of flip flops. Awesome beach several other visitors chose to not bring swimming trunks. Maybe they forgot them at home I don't know, but they weren't shy about it.

Amazing beach with a beautiful rock overhang if you want shade from the sun but still lay on the beach. Water is very cold but refreshing and spectacularly clear. Very easy to have this little place all to yourself if you don't mind climbing the rocky trail which is about a 10-15 minute walk. Some lovely prehistoric rock formations and a few crabs guarding it so beware!

Fantastic hideaway, never too crowded and today the sea was tough, big waves but absolutely beautiful. My favourite beach.

Absolutely amazing but super tiny beach, about a 10 minute walk from where you park the car (make sure you have satellite turned on for google maps or you’re sure to get lost, or end up at another beach!). It’s super gorgeous, quiet and the water is stunning. Thankfully doesn’t get too busy because it is tiny, but worth a visit if you don’t mind the short walk

One of the best south-west Portugal beaches. If you are looking for small quiet place at the sea - that's it! Can't get there by car, only walk And there is no any shop. Just sand, rocks and ocean. :-)))

Fantastic beach that is only reach-able on foot, maybe a 10+ minute walk from parking. This is not handicap accessible. The view is worth the hike. The water and beach area are breathtaking. The hiking trails to this beach are well marked and very easy to follow. The sand at this beach is soft. There are some cliffs and a rock shelf overhang type of cave.

Small, rocky, not very suitable for swimming, but always peaceful (most of the time no one around), and most interesting for the dinosaurs steps (2 x 5 steps right at the coast line), at the W end of the Eastern Praia da Santa
