Better than hotel breakfast. This breakfast spot is very nice and has an outside area and inside finely decorated area. There are a lot of people here all from different backgrounds. There were people working on their laptops, others were hungover from the night before, there were families from France, from Lebanon…. A diverse crowd. The waitresses are cute and welcoming with a smile. The menu was great with a large selection of drinks and varied breakfast foods. Even breakfast burritos which aren’t a common sight in Portugal. The pancakes were fluffy and fresh. The eggs bacon-dict were very good, I would just suggest having less sauce as it is quite strong. Apart from that it was great if I’m ever in this area again for breakfast I know the spot. Thank you!

Beautiful place to go for breakfast/brunch, so much so that I went 3 times in my fortnight holiday! The staff were really friendly and helpful, great menu choice including vegetarian options. The eggs Benedict are the best I've ever tasted! Fantastically presented each and every time, cannot recommend this place highly enough for delicious food! Very pretty outdoor seating area aswell as plenty of room inside. The toilets were also decorated very stylishly and were immaculate! I bought two mugs to bring home with me so I never forget this place! Their coffee selection is wonderful and tastes fab! Perfect for couples/friends! No greasy food and very healthy options which was a refreshing change!

Benedict eggs we're completely overdone. Hot drinks came to the table 15min before food.. so we drank cold cappuccinos. The beverage quality is superb, the food, not so much. Not really worth the money for a slice of bread with ham and eggs. Loved the decor tho!

What a fabulous gem of a place! Al Gharb is tucked away down a side street away from the bustle of busy Albufeira and offers a quiet spot to relax and enjoy their wonderful coffee and eats. The garden outside offers seating as well as on the inside of the store. The menu is carefully curated and offers a tasty, healthy selection of breakfast/brunch options.

An absolute diamond in the rough this cafe! Lovely varied menu, great coffee (they even have Oatly oat milk, v much appreciated by my husband!) and really friendly and helpful service. Inside is very comfortable and the terrace is a peaceful oasis when the sun is shining! Highly recommend if you're staying in Albufeira but craving a touch of class!

A true barista ❤️ A place you can have one of the best freshly HOME roasted coffees in the country while still enjoying the ambiance and the welcome of the Portuguese hospitality. The food was large enough and reasonably priced. Would totally recommend the pancakes 🥞 and skewered French toasts.

Great coffee options, waiters are happy to make recommendations and help. There are also some pastry options and quick meals (kitchen closes at 4pm). The ambience is great, with friendly and helpful staff, and diverse crowd. There are several sitting options: sunny terrace with plenty of greens, shaded porch and cozy indoors. Music was good too. There is plenty of parking in the small streets around the café. Between terrace and porch there are a few steps, so indoors aren't exactly wheelchair accessible.

Nice speciality coffee shop. The house blend coffee used was too roasted for my taste. I would suggest to have a mild option too because we were a group of six and none of us does not prefer that blend. However if you’re looking for a nice coffee shop surely you’ll be enchanted.

This is a lovely spot in Albufeira. Perfect all-day breakfast place. With a large seating area outside, there is plenty of space so that you don't even have to worry about Covid. The inside is even better, super quaint and cozy! The servers are so nice and friendly, the food is amazing, super tasty, great quality and presentation. The coffee is wonderful. Very soul-warming brunch experience for me. Will definitely go back often.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! First and foremost everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. I loved the atmosphere of the place too. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. They have a very relaxing outside dining area too! But the food was *chefs kiss* I really enjoyed the pancakes, chai tea, and fresh orange juice. I plan to eat here almost everyday I’m here on vacation 🤩

Highly recommend this little beauty for brunch! The interior and exterior is beautifully decorated, and stylish - yet very homely. The server was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was delicious, i just wish i had taken more photos ! Coffee was fab - i just had the house blend, but i believe they will cater to your preferred taste if you ask. Definately worth a visit, I certainly will be back!

This is a welcome addition to Albufeira, a great brunch spot with health, tasty options. We had the veggie burrito, pancakes and avocado toast - everything was really really tasty and well-made. The coffee, as you can imagine, is also excellent - try the Cold Brew! Definitely would recommend - price point is also very good.

An oasis of calm peacefully off the main drag. The courtyard is spacious, and cool, both in temperature and vibe. The best coffee I have had in the Algarve. I suspect the brunch is great too, though I have not tried it. My compliments to Henning and the team. If you like good coffee, this is a must try in Albufeira.

You need some luck! Sometimes food and staff is great, some other times food is not that good (raw pancakes and overcooked eggs Benedict) and someone from the staff is moody and not careful. Atmosphere is really nice! But prices are kinda high. Anyway, everything comes always well presented

Excellent coffee with variety of bean flavours to choose from. Superb breakfast and brunch. Recommend the eggs royale. Very tasty with fresh salmon, crunchy hash browns and well balanced hollandaise.

Everything about this place was amazing. The coffee is out of this world, some of the best I’ve ever had. Food is incredible and everyone working here was so nice and accommodating. We’ve had breakfast here every day we’ve been in Albufeira, it’s that good.

Nice location and friendly staff but pancakes were very dry and coffee didn't taste much. In pictures you can see Seasonal fruit pancakes and French toast bites. I also ordered a coffee called something blue mermaid coffee and it just tasted like warm milk.

The food here is incredible! We have been twice so far for breakfast during our weeks holiday to Albufeira. The staff speak a multitude of languages and are really welcoming and friendly. The ingredients are fresh and high quality and the food is delicious! I’m a very fussy coffee drinker, these guys do the best coffee in Portugal without a doubt! Well worth a visit.

Great place! Myself and my boyfriend stopped by on a day trip to albufeira, and we loved it. The owner took 2 hours of his time to talk to my bf about the coffee shop business (we’re hoping to open one up ourselves), and about his various coffee roasts. Super tasty coffee - the Ethiopian beans in a V60 are a must try! Also fabulous banana bread 🙌🏻 I had a freshly squeezed orange juice too which was tasty and very reasonably priced.

The best coffee shop/cafe in Albufeira! Super quality coffee and food, refreshing and much needed alternative to the fry ups usually found in this area. The owner made us feel incredibly welcome, even with two young children and always had time for a chat. The passion for his business is second to none and is seen in the super staff, decor and ambience. There’s even a kids play area. I wish we had one like this back in London!

Al-Gharb Coffee Roasters is such an amazing spot! We went almost every day for breakfast/brunch and were never disappointed. Such friendly staff, amazing food and a great atmosphere. Would recommend for everyone especially vegetarians/vegans as there are so many options available

Been aware at how hard running a coffee shop can be, I only give 5 stars and would rather not rate your shop if its not 5 stars but send constructive feedback diretcly... 5 star coffee, good job. Keep at it

Great quality breakfast and the coffee was superb! You can tell when a restaurant cares about the quality of their ingredients. From the fruit, the coffee, to the granola and the croissant, everything was perfect. Will definitely come back!

Beautiful location, amazing staff, fantastic food and drink. Incredibly casual, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for breaking away from the busy city/coastal restaurants. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, don't be afraid to ask for help, they speak over 10 different languages. We've tried the pancakes, eggs royale, french toast and coffee, and we love each one. Really great spot for vegans and vegetarians, highly recommended. My partner and I went here 5/7 mornings we were in Portugal.

Such a nice coffee and reasonably priced! Sat out on the terrace which was lovely. We also had a croissant with jam, a hazelnut brownie and a giant cookie. Cookie was a bit dry but the other items were really good. Would recommend

Best coffee, service and energy in town. They use locally produced vegetables/fruit, free range eggs, and get their coffee directly from the farmers. Its a calm oasis in the middle of loud, touristy Albufeira. Go. :)

The place is a little bit hidden in a residential area, but it is a nice place to sit and drink coffee. To my taste the coffee was roasted a little bit to dark. I rather drink lighter roasted coffees. Pancakes were really nice.

A nice bar to have breakfast or brunch in the center. very relaxing atmosphere with even tables outside with greenery around. Very kind and friendly staff, makes you feel at ease. Average prices. They accept animals and even give water for the little dogs. If I go back to that area, I would definitely go to them again

My wife and I stopped for a Sunday breakfast on the last day of our holiday and it was a great last breakfast and a shame we couldn't eat there more! Coffee and food was simply great and the setting was lovely sitting under the tree in the courtyard. Definitely recommend that you visit here! Oh and the staff are very professional and friendly :)

Fourth time here in a week! Love the coffee (best in the area) and the brunch/ food/ cake options are amazing. Staff are super nice too. Working our way through the menu, but so far recommend the Manwich, Açai (granola) bowl and the pancakes 👌🏻 Fresh orange juice and lemonade are also delicious- very refreshing. And they’re DOG FRIENDLY (and supply water for doggo!)

Visited this coffee shop today on recommendation and we were not disappointed. Lovely coffee and great choice of food. I had the pancakes with bacon and a very generous portion of maple syrup. A side order of the fruit bowl gave a lovely variety of seasonal fruits . Hubby had the breakfast sandwich with salsa side very tasty. Staff very friendly .Its a hidden gem in Albufeira. We will visit again .

Phenomenal coffee and unbelievably zen atmosphere. We spent two hours of bliss in the courtyard eating and drinking. Henning spent time explaining how he roasted the coffee and was a delight to talk to. A must visit when in the algarve!!

Best cold brew I have had in years, and I have had... a lot of cold brew. The owners roast everything themselves (a very friendly and nice husband and wife) and they have vegan food choices! My kids loved everything and so did my husband and I. They also had a kids play area which was an absolute hit, and much appreciated by us parents, too. Fantastic coffee in a great space with cheerful people. We have been a few times already. Highly recommend!

We have been coming to this cute cafe since we found out about it. The decor is super chic, you can sit indoors or enjoy your meal outside. I ordered the banana and walnut cake, and a caramel macchiato. The portion sizes were huge which is a plus because I love cake and coffee! They both tasted absolutely delicious. So many brunch options aswell. They cater to vegan and gluten free dietary requirements. It’s family friendly and have a play area for kids. The staff are approachable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this if you’re in albufeira!
