We
wanted
to
convey
to
you
how
fantastic
and
professional
Albert
was
in
helping
us
find
our
retirement
home.
Before
heading
to
Portugal,
we
met
via
email,
WhatsApp
and
Zoom.
We
gave
a
list
of
what
we
were
looking
for,
what
our
musts
and
wants
we
were
hoping
for
in
our
new
home.
Getting
to
know
Albert
has
been
super,
he
has
a
great
sense
of
humor
mixed
with
facts
and
deep
knowledge
about
the
Algarve
and
intuition
for
what
we
wanted.
You
never
know
if
a
realtor
really
understands
who
you
are
and
what
you
are
looking
for,
you
know
you
don’t
want
to
be
exhausted
by
visiting
numerous
places
that
don’t
come
close
to
your
dream
home.
Albert
was
upfront
about
the
market
conditions
and
movement
of
realty
in
the
Algarve
area,
but
at
the
same
time
we
knew
he
understood
what
was
important
to
us.
Albert
approached
the
search
as
if
he
were
working
for
a
member
of
his
family.
Albert
respected
our
preparedness
and
our
time
in
looking
at
properties
that
would
only
meet
our
wants.
He
very
much
respected
how
much
time
and
money
we
put
forth
to
take
this
trip
and
use
our
resources
wisely.
Albert
found
our
dream
home
on
our
first
day,
the
very
first
listing,
as
we
say
here
in
the
US,
he
nailed
it!
Everything
that
was
very
important
to
us
he
found
in
this
newly
developed
condo
unit
in
Olhos
de
Agua,
one
of
the
most
beautiful
places
in
the
Algarve.
As
Ken
is
a
very
successful,
well
known
architect
he
asked
the
project
engineer
onsite
very
detailed
and
specific
questions.
Albert
was
right
in
the
middle
during
the
conversations
showing
his
in-depth
knowledge.
Albert
took
the
time
to
meet
us
back
at
the
site
three
times
with
very
short
notice
so
that
we
could
measure
and
re-examine
the
layout.
Albert
is
very
patient
and
kind,
keeping
a
very
great
sense
of
humor.
If
we
asked
Albert
a
question,
he
did
not
have
the
answer
for
at
that
moment
he
got
back
to
us
very
quickly
with
the
answer.
Albert
never
guessed
or
supposed,
he
only
dealt
with
facts.
Albert
introduced
us
to
Maria
Do
Rosario
Vincente,
the
attorney
for
our
purchase.
Maria
is
wonderful,
very
professional,
brilliant.
She
was
very
thorough
taking
us
through
the
legal
and
financial
process
that
we
are
entering
into
with
great
detail.
In
addition,
she
has
agreed
to
help
us
with
estate
preparation
at
a
later
date.
We
had
trouble
making
our
money
transfer
from
the
US,
Maria
was
available
immediately
as
was
Albert,
she
conveyed
communications
to
Albert
and
stayed
available
to
us
until
the
issue
was
resolved
on
our
end.
They
were
very
supportive
and
kind
stating
that
everything
would
be
fine,
not
to
worry.
Albert
saved
us
over
a
thousand
dollars
dedicated
for
this
trip
to
find
our
home.
In
addition,
we
were
able
to
meet
with
our
relocation
company
team
and
our
bank
manager
and
return
home
7
days
earlier.
Everyone
should
be
as
lucky
as
we
are
to
have
Albert
as
their
realtor,
I
have
posted
this
fact
on
our
Facebook
American
Expat
Group.
I
have
encouraged
others
to
contact
Berkshire/Hathaway
and
Albert
in
the
Algarve.
Ken
and
I
have
been
talking
about
how
smart
it
was
of
us
to
make
contact
with
you
and
Berkshire/Hathaway,
without
which
we
would
never
met
with
Albert.
One
more
adulation
I
would
like
to
put
here
since
I
sent
this
letter
is
that
Albert
continues
to
come
to
our
aid
through
every
step
of
our
purchase.
He
has
kept
in
contact
making
sure
any
bumps
in
the
road
are
taken
care
of.
Transferring
money
from
the
USA
to
the
EU
can
be
a
nightmare,
Albert
saw
that
we
were
having
a
problem
and
once
again
he
dropped
in
to
help
us
out
and
continues
to
stay
in
very
close
contact
as
we
are
not
done
with
the
process
as
yet.
Albert
is
a
remarkable
person,
professional,
helpful,
caring
brilliant,
one
of
the
nicest
people
we’ve
ever
met.
