KK nagar, with its hotchpotch of schools, parks and coaching centers, has always had the illusion of a juvenile neighbourhood and that partly explains the dearth of quality hangout spots. This notion is set to undergo a facelift with this quaint library cafe` that has appeared like an oasis in a barren desert. There is something special about this place. A lot of heart and soul has gone into it and that is evident with every single nook, wall and space oozing with taste. Each aspect that adds up to an experience has been carefully thought through and it's a bibliophile's delight. You can find a cosy corner and spend all day, engrossed in one of Tolkien's epics or breezing through Haruki Murakami's short stories. The food is novel and refreshingly delicious. I had the 3 cheese balls, RoΕΎΔ— pasta and the vintage combo of Plain waffles with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup. The presentation was classy, portion size adequate and the fancy tableware is sure to evoke a sense of luxury. The service was prompt and the waiters were neatly dressed, clean and tidy in their appearance. Considering the quality of the food, I found the items moderately priced. There were a few board games too, to keep you entertained. Moreover, there's a beautiful outdoor space that is apt for open mics and book reading sessions. Stories is a breath of fresh air in a locality that badly needed something unique and different. If the standards are maintained and if the community puts it to optimum use, this place can become a hotbed of creativity.

I would have given this thing a whole 5 star if the food was a little better. It's very rare in India that you find a place this so less crowded that too on a weekend evening. Felt like sitting in one of european resturants. There were literally two people except us on a Saturday evening. The ambience , the attention to detail, the small library, the smell of books is just so heartfelt that if you are a person who loves books this is closest you are getting to heaven. So much less crowd and a dedicated reading space covers up for the food that just tastes good enough for the price. The library is open only till 8pm but the staff and manager were real nice to open it let me spend sometime with the book. Its just tranquility to be there.

A quiet place in a quiet locality. This place deserves more than what it gets. The place is small but the space has been utilised perfectly. Somewhat of a cross between a lending library and a cafe, this place checks some important boxes. Want to spend some quality time with someone? Then look no further than this place. And yeah, did I mention ? The pricing is also affordable.

Good ambience, and a quite place to read. First book themed restaurant I've been to. It was new and exciting to see books pasted on walls, with quirky colorful comic quotes opposite to it and a variety of board games available to play with friends and family. The library inside has a monthly subscription policy as well and has decent no. of books.Β Though some popular titles and authors are missing.Β  Nonetheless quite impressive collection. But its bit expensive and the washroom and the adjacent kitchen wasn't clean at all. That totally spoiled it for me. Pros: 1. The ambience of the dining area, music, books on wall, board games. 2. Library adjacent to it, collection of books. 3. Quite place for reading your own books and books from library. Cons: 1. No cleanliness of washroom 2. The Price of food 3. There was quite a delay to serve the food, though we ordered a simple Pizza.

Excellent ambience with smooth music. Lovely to spend some relaxing time. Not too crowded. Food was good and rates were reasonable. staff were friendly. Really loved the experience. There was a lending library too. I would definitely recommend this place for couples and families to spend some time here. Rare find πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

This place was just wow! 😍 A chic n cosy hangout spot! Books + Coffee is always a hit combo and the #Stories Library Cafe has done a pretty good job by accomodating a library inside a coffee shop! Even though the place looked a bit small, the ambience was very pleasant and artistic! The food was so delicious and the quantity offered can easily be shared between 2 people! I would totally want to visit this place again!

Lovely place. Nice library. Nice atmosphere, but terrible as a cafe. The beans for the espresso were burnt, and such a tiny amount! Barely two mouthfulls. It's a really nice place so it's a pity.
