Sorry I could not give negative stars. The place is very unhygienic. The staff are rude and doesn't care about their customers. Their behaviour is like We will be like this.if you don't don't like..don't come. While waiting for my order a lady staff yelled at a person who complained for order getting late. Another staff scratched his head and with the same hand he packed the food by touching it with bare hands. One thing we have to appreciate. They have the guts to do this openly in front of the people. We do have better option than this hotel in this area. Please do not go.

Spacious and located in main porur area ambience was normal. Food is normal Cost is premium but quantity and taste is average When your order for parcel/take away their bill will increase 10-15% This is not good. What you pay is not worth here.

Yesterday, 1st march 2022, i been to saravana bhavan valasarawakkam branch and ordered idli for my father and chola puri for myself for takeaway. After i reached home and i was expecting chola bature , but I found only regular puris with also. This is absolutely ridiculous. If they don't have chola puri, they would have informed to me, i would have ordered something else. Horrible experience, waste of money and time .

Very worst customer service. For more than 40 min no service given to us. When asked they said very less person to server and crowd is huge. In a reputed hotel like this didn't expected this. When we compalined to the bill counter seeking for manager. The person in bill counter was laughing and said manager may be that side go and complain. The way they treated customer is very worse. We decide not to visti this hotel again and we left the hotel.

Good Place For Good Veg Food And Can Get Newly Prepared Snacks And Sweets From Their Sweet Stall. Air Conditioned Dining Hall Is There....Despite These Things Service Is Average And Prices Are High, Quality Of Food Is Good. limited Car Parking Space Is Available.

One of the worst service at counter, billing guy treated me like begger and very rude behavior, I was really shocked to see such big firm in hotel industry doesn't care about thier customer and services. I will never ever go again..

This hotel used to be famous which serves good quality food, recent times I have visited atleast 4 times which brought nothing but disappointment. This hotel has lost its name and food quality. The soup I had was of very poor quality, watery and no taste. I returned the soup to make it better but all I got was the same one with a bit more clumpsy bowl. I had nothing more and walked away.

Authentic South Indian vegetarian restaurant. They have so much of space to handle large crowds. Food quality is good, friendly staff.

Food poisioned : We went for family dinner on 12th November evening and had "Plain Naan, panner butter masala, mush room , gobi manchuria, veg fried rice and veg noodles" . On the following day, we(dad, mom, wife, kid and me) all were suffering from VOMITTINGS, LOOSE STOOLS. We had to admit my mother to Ramchandra hospital and they confirmed that, its a case of FOOD POISIONING. We spent 1500/- in Saravana Bhavan to eat but spent 50K in Hospital to recover :( . Pathetic experience. Did not expect this from Saravana Bhavan.

Service is very worst. I came Aarthi scans for taking tests. First I take fasting test and I have to take my PP test after eating my breakfast. I came on.9th to your hotel in single. I waited 1/2an hour but nobody was asking what do I want. My age is 62 I can't go another hotel near by Aarthi scans. So I have no other alternate except to wait. After waited for 1/2 hour I came in front of the dishes served place asked how long I have to wait. Nobody is coming for serving. After that one supervisor came and give me breakfast. I ordered mini tiffin that is Rs. 140/ and after taken my tiffin I waited for coffee also for another 15 minutes. I thought hereafter I never come to your hotel.

Currently this place has lost its Beauty and Richness,The management has changed and Food quality is not good.Customers are not satisfied nowadays and Service is below satisfaction

Nice Restaurant. Maintained neatly and general hygiene is good. Offers Vegetarian Food of South and North Indian Style and Chinese. Staff are very Courteous. Quality of Food is Good. But definitely not relative to the high prices charged. Location on Arcot Road is very Convenient.

The restaurant area was very large before and I used to go there in my childhood. Now, all the space has been sold and the restaurant is very small. The food quality was top notch before 10 years but now, the management has become very stingy in terms of quality and quantity. You will not get satisfaction of eating good food here. Just for the nostalgia I am giving 2 stars. If you don't have any other option, then go and eat here

Hotel Saravana bhavan is known for sambhar and hygiene and family hotel

Usually food is very tasty here. But on 31st Aug, we had ordered veg meals and it was really pathetic. The rice was not cooked, the kootu had too much of salt in it. I felt they had prepared food namesake that day. We thought as it is festival time, there would be something different in the menu, but it was worse than that. Hope so it will be better next time.

It did not seem like from the famed chain HSB from about 10 years back. Lighting was dim. Decent food and service. Good amount of parking. Was not crowded as it was too early for dinner - about 6.30

Full of dirt and the taste was not that much and service was one of the worst... And vessels are damaged and old.. plates are not washed well... But the price is not compromised... The standard of the Saravanan bhavan was not maintained at all...

So this was my second visit and I always order special South Indian meals. This place is well maintained located at lakshmi nagar porur. Has enough parking space. They have North Indian dishes too in their menu, however I would suggest one should try South Indian meals, it's authentic in taste. Staff members are courteous and they manage the crowd pretty well. Afternoon especially between 1pm to 2pm you may find it crowded. Talking about price it's reasonable.

Place was filled with flies, food doesn't taste soo good. And the cost was too high, and the q.ty of food is also very less. Overall it's ok

We went around 11 am. This was neither a time for breakfast nor for lunch. Excellent service and no rush. The server served us well and the experience was awesome.

The place has lost completely it's ambience and food taste. Typically on my experience you need to wait for 15 mins to even place an order when no one was inside.... The waiters keep you waiting for no reason and the dishes are served not even hot and with swarm of flies even breeding inside the AC hall.. NEVER EVER GO FOR THIS HOTEL

We had lunch there very good food as we order for bisi Bela Bhat,rava dosa, gobi manchurian, South Indian thali, fried rice rose milk. The food was really tasty, Hotel is neat well maintained. Price was pretty good value for money for South Indian food good place to eat.

I was in A/C hall. But disappointed. There were flies. Stainless steel tumblers & water jugs are very old it seems. Not at all clean. No tissue paper in handwash area. There is no ambience. Take your own water supplies. Standard of food is good.

Amazing dosa and filter coffee. Bit costly for my taste. The dips are amazing (we don't get the tomato and pudina ones in Kol, only coconut and sambar... loved the tomato one. absolutely frickin incredible)

Food is as usual good as it's standard HSB. But the waiters won't easily attend to us... If required for extra chutney or something they will serve after min 20 mins... By the time u wud end up eating the dish without it. Should improve in service. I wud rate 1 out of 5 for their service

The food was not good, but not bad. Poor rice, side dish was poor, servers were busy talking themselves. Rest room was good and parking was available. I could easily suggest another veg restaurant nearby which I would rate 4 star.

They are not what they used to be. The quality and taste had drastically went downhill. The prices are still up but the factors that had held them up high once up on a time were found to be no more. This used to be my favourite hotel and its sad to see them turn like this.

It has a pleasant atmosphere, ac an non- ac dine in are too available. The price here is little expensive as they use good and quality products to make their food , according to me the price is acceptable. Enjoy your vegetarian food there !!!!

Please don’t go to this hotel. The ambience is worst. Smelly everywhere, full of flies and one staff has been appointed especially with a mosquito bat to kill the flies and when we keep eating, he keeps killing the flies on the other side. Food taste also not at all good. This is the one of the worst branch of Saravana Bhavan. Please close this branch or rebuild it with a proper facilities and food. They have spent for exterior putting all the lights and keeping snacks outside, while forgot that interior is the most important part and a good ambience Ian’s good food taste is necessary for customer satisfaction.

Non responsive staff, dont bother about the customer. I have order food for kids, waited almost 40 minutes, not even a single response from anybody in the hotel. At one point we cancelled all of our order and bring back our kids in an hungry stage. Very very pathetic situations on my kid birthday. Kindly ignore such peoples. They should realize without customer they are nothing.. may be we can expect to close their business shortly... poor management... poor staff...
