One fine hot afternoon we went to have our buffet meal. Found the place to be crowded but by the time we left it got almost free. First of all the thing that I noticed was it's too big and can accommodate a good number of customers at a time. Secondly the thing that is obvious to attract the attention is the theme. Wow!! Jack Sparrow fans will be super happy to be in this place and surely the kids would enjoy the most here. Even we became so excited by the decor. So lovely, so nicely arranged everything. They even have live band performances which adds an extra star for them. They even have a separate selfie place, pirate hats and many more to enjoy!!! Starters were awesome and more in varieties. Veggies and nonveg both will be happy with the food and desserts were all yummy. Quite reasonable to have such good quality of food in a good place. Come..Eat and Enjoy!!!

The food was delicious and the ambience was great. It was fun to bring kids. The concept resembles the barbecue nation. The staffs were little slow, but that gives you time to enjoy your surroundings. It was a great experience with the live music. Pirates Theme is something new in Chennai.

One of the best theme restaurant I would say. Best place to hang out with your friends or family. Ambience is really great. they have done a wonderful job kudos to that👍👍 Coming to food - starters are good not sooo great but you will like it. They also do have rabbit and other sea food counters. You can try all starters. It is different and taste good too. Desserts are also really good they do have many varieties. Please try and don't miss it. It will available on the main road so it's very easy to identify from normal traffic and they so have lot parking structure. Just go and enjoy. They also do have light music which was really great.

Black Pearl was quite raved among the IT community for it's theme and food. We as a team of 30 went to Black Pearl on a Thursday afternoon and was literally shocked to find the huge crowd it had. We booked in advance so we had no issues starting the lunch right away. Starters for veg was a less than the usual BBQ places. Non Veg starters had so many options and it had a separate live grill options too. It also had Pav Bhaji, Pizza, Twisted potatoes and much more. As for the main section, the options were limited. And most of the times went on standing in the line and searching for the plates/bowls. Desserts were okay. The main downside despite it's amazing ambience is the huge crowd. Will I go to this place again? Maybe Would I recommend this place to others? Yes Costly? Reasonable Good Food? Okay Ambience? Good Service? Okay

Have been to this place more than once. Huge facility at the heart of the IT corridor. Very nice thematic ambience suitable for office / personal parties and get togethers. Food quality and variety is good for the price offered. However, the service level seems to be bit down while the restaurant is crowded (almost on any day). There is a need for better crowd management, especially with those who come with a reservation.

Huge place.. I think it can easily accommodate 100 people dining.. all starters were good.. though the main dishes weren't that engaging.. desserts were limited but tasty.. live grill was okish.. Pirates theme was fantastic.. loved it !! And would definitely recommend

Super cool place now in Chennai. I was a big fan of zblack pearl Bangalore. This themed restaurant gives a full experience for a laid out team lunch. The line up of food is amazing and the taste is definitely above the notch. Fun place to click funny pictures.

It's a theme restaurant (pirates), lot of items are there to click pictures. Good place for friends and office gangs. The buffet was good, lot of exotic non-veg items are served here like octopus, duck etc... EDIT: What happens when the restaurant had a good opening and review, they either improve their service more or take it to their head and perform badly. This one followed the second path. We had to wait for 30 mins to start the buffet, plates kept are not clean, and unable to serve the crowd in time. The veg buffet quality was very average but the non-veg buffet was good. Found a fly in the dessert and the restaurant offered 10% discount to compensate the same, Hope they improve their service and quality of food in future...

The food was really great the first time we visited. Everything was great but the next time it was disappointing. The taste and consistency was lacking. The vegetarian starters were good but non vegetarian starters weren't that way on our second visit. Main course and desserts were decent enough. There's good amount of parking space and the staff are polite. And of course the theme is great.

It's a pirate themed restaurant which is one of the best themed restaurant in Chennai. The ambience is really amazing but the food isn't as great as other leading buffets for this price. We went as a team of 22 using Dineout coupon, so it was 50% off. For veg it was 350 and for Non-veg it was 405 per head through this offer. There weren't as many varieties in main course.

The taste and ambience are great and are worth for five stars. But on Sundays when I visit, there is heavy crowd and they struggling too much to serve. They are unable to provide dishes at the tables for the starters properly. Taste is really superb and is five starts or five + stars worthy. Ambience is so good and is also worth for five stars. Weekends they need allot restricted count or to try a better way to serve the visitors. Two options for weekend crecis 1. Increase the food cost on weekends, so that lesser people whom you can manage will visit. 2. Or restrict the count of users visiting on weekends by enable no more booking or cutoff booking like to the max limit.

An appealing themed restaurant at the heart of OMR. Starters has wide range for both vegetarian & non vegetarians and main course is fine on its own. Loved the sides such as mini pizzas. Ambiance is cozy and we'll maintained. A money well spent and good for team outings. Pirate themed photo booths are fun.
