    Once it was the landmark for M&M Ltd (Mahindra and Mahindra LImited) Chennai office for Tamil Nadu & Kerala for almost all the sectors exisiitng those days like Auto Division (Changed as Automotive Division - AS) ,Tracor Division (TD) then changed as Farm Equipment Sector.Guest Line Holidays,Roplas, Mahindra Divn selling M-Seal....It was a family kind of atmosphere working with all.

    Bharat Insurance building, earlier known as the Kardyl building, is a beautiful heritage structure located on the prime arterial Anna Salai (previously Mount Road), built roughly 122 years ago and was saved from near demolition by its present owner L.I.C of India Currently building under renovation.     This is a beautiful heritage building that I stumbled upon while visiting the Higginbothams bookstore right across the road from it. It must be preserved at all costs!
