Enjoyed every bit of time I sent there. I went there with my family. They loved it. There was a vast variety of fishes to view. Water tunnel was amazing but there was only 2 big sharks at our visit. Ticket cost was ₹650 per adult. Car parking charges us ₹50. It would take about 1 or 2 hrs to see all the fishes and complete the marine kingdom. Better get going..

Awesome place, excellent maintenance which is not very easy one. Asia first they say might be true as the cost for setting up and maintenance not so easy. Had a great time with family, children surely enjoy.. it would be treat to watch feeding food and scuba driving. The price is 600 per adult. They take photo and provide instant printout and cost around 300 apart from that no other charges... Worth visiting for experience.

Loved it. Awesome place to enjoy your day with family. Minimum 3hrs to cover the entire place. There is no time limit to return. Due to some technical issues, mermaid shows were cancelled for 2 days. Missed it. The underwater tunnel was amazing. For adults it cost 650, and for bike parking 30 and for cars it's 50

Great experience. Lovely place for kids, they will definitely enjoy, and every parent wants their kid to be happy! Ticket per adult is 600 rupees and they charge 500 rupees for kids taller than 90 cm. So you can plan accordingly. While it seems bit overpriced, the experience will be worth the price in my opinion. You can spend 2-3 hours inside this place. They have an option to take your photograph and print it (on calendar or small glass frame) as a souvenir which costs around 300-500 rupees.

A great experience. I really loved it. We spent almost 3 hours there. You can buy the tickets at the entrance or book online. Different types of fishes and when we visited we could able to see the mermaid show also. The main attraction i felt is under water tunnel. Food court also there but little bit costly. Also we can buy toys.

It's great place to spend 3 to 4 hours of time. Affordable price with good maintenance. The parking was located outside the premises. Lot of fishes and they are all active in the fresh water. The underwater tunnel was well designed and thoroughly enjoyable. Ventilation and ambience was awesome. They could improve the canteen and add some play activities for the kids inside the aquarium.

Good and reasonable Nice place to spend your day out with family. Try marine kingdom take combo at 1100 Which includes amusement park + aqua kingdom + marine kingdom. Rides are awesome .. Water rides are in renovation. Only 2 slides working. One lazy river and wave pool is working. Children's will have good time ...they have small water games and small kid's rides which are attractive. Marine kingdom has separate entry AC and best in maintenance. Many kinds of fishes and best visuals we can experience. Complete day will be best if you plan VGP . I went on March 2022 mostly rides are open and unlimited. Best for group of friends to enjoy. Its India’s very first and largest theme park. This little kingdom, spread over 44 verdant acres in home to 45+ carefully curated rides, attractions and exhibits, including favourites such as very own Statue Man, snow park, a massive water complex and more. Truly, the Kingdom of Fun for everyone! Location VGP Universal Kingdom, East Coast Road, Chennai - 600 041 Open Hours Weekdays: 11:00 am - 07:30 pm Weekends and Holidays: 10:30 am to 08:00 pm

PROS: 1)Highly recommended for kids and adults as well 2)Maintained very clean . 3)Restroom facilities are available inside. 4)Paid Car parking . 5)Entry fee (INR 600 person). 6)Solid 2 hours are required if you are 🐟 fish lover . 7)It's a mini Aquarium (They tried to mimic major countries universal studio Aquarium style) 8)Safety measures are in place. CONS: 1) Eatable are not allowed inside and to be kept at locker while entering the aquarium. 2) Restaurant is available only after the exit of Aquarium and not worth at all. 3)Ticket purchased will become invalid once you exit the Aquarium .

Good experience, the place is well maintained. There is small underwater tunnel where we get a good view of deep water fishes. The ticket cost is 650 for adults. It will be a good experience for kids. It will take around 2 hours to completely watch the place. Over all Great experience!

It's really an excellent setup. They could reduce the price little bit. There were no shows when we visited. You can spend 2 hours maximum here. Opens at 9AM and hence better to start early and finish by 11AM and then go to Universal kingdom. They do have food court which is as usual higher priced. Good for kids and all age.

I liked overall experience we had during last visit. Facilities were well maintained and visitor arrangements were good. easily reachable and has ample parking space. Prices were high for adults it's rs600 now on weekends and parking fee 50. You can spend like 1-2 hrs max at this place nothing more. If you have kids they will enjoy it. Under water walk way is good and one of its kind in the state

And to those people who are a fish or aquatic life lovers.. trust me.. this place is a heaven to them.. this place has almost every varities of fishes.. the inside structure is also huge.. AC available in every parts so that it doesn't get hot. Entry fee per head's also not very costly, its Rs.600 for adults and i guess Rs 450 for young peoples having height below 125cm. First of its kind in India, honest attempt to meet international standards. Kids would be very excited and it's more than experience for adults as well with wide range of water species along with their description available on touchpads. Plan for three hours to do a relaxed exploration of each segment. Ice on the cake is camera is allowed so you can click some breathtaking photos as well. Marine staff also would be clicking pics at selected view points which can be availed as soft/hard copies for your souvenir collection!!!

Really awesome place to explore. Loads of place to take pictures. You can sit and watch the colorful fishes and admire at the varieties, and express your awe to The One who had made the ocean more adorable. There is a plain teaching lab before you enter the gorges. If you wanna know the names of the fish as you see them, there is a simple posters that can teach you. It's ₹600 for adults and ₹500 for kids between 90cm-120cm on weekends (visited 19 Dec '21) You can be there inside as long as you want but no food allowed inside, nor you will have food stalls to eat, as a norm to maintain cleanliness. One entry and one entry per ticket. As you exit, there is a toy shop and a good court, it was expensive. We entered here after our lunch, and spent around 4 hrs with the kids inside. Thats a long time to stay just with water for kids. This is a must visit place.

Only place in Chennai to have marine experience. Huge infrastructure with nicely maintained atmosphere. Almost all varieties of fishes available for aquarium view. Suitable for family and friends to spend minimum 2 hours to cover overall view points. Especially the underwater tunnel segment is brilliant. - Try on weekdays to avoid crowd. - Food items not allowed inside. - Outside cafeteria available. Price is slightly costly. - Adult ₹ 600 - Children ₹ 500

Awesome experience of the sea underworld. Maintenance is good , best time to visit weekdays.. Peaceful and spend more time with individual tanks. Worth the money. We actually skip this many times due to the cost. But actually it is less after visiting. >No charges for cameras In my home I have 2 tank maintenance is tough. Bought several equipment to save 🐠 . *green background photography failed in my pic. Printing cost is high 350,losing our privacy due to the improper communication by the photographers. **Starting It's a "complementary photo mam" At the end pay money mam" . *While visiting clean work started by 3pm it's self underwater. **snack bit costly like premium train beverages. (Eatables and drinks not allowed)

Good place to spend time with kids. Entry ticket is ₹600/person. You can spend about 2 to 3hours maximum as there is no timing restrictions so far, so you can take your time to enjoy the beauty of fishes.... My kid enjoyed a lot by seeing varieties of fishes. He was very much excited... And for adults watching the fishes may burst their stress.

Good experience to see marine world under the glass tunnel. Good collection and architecture. They won't allow eatables inside instead you can use locker room for storing your things. The visit can last minimum one hour. So plan accordingly. Bike parking one building before this building and car parking is in the road next to this building in a walkable distance. Parking will be charged only when you purchase entry tickets and collected at the parking lot when you leave. Adults were charged Rs. 600 and Children were charged only based on the age or height. So kutties can visit free of cost. Only the rest rooms need a little more maintenance smells bad otherwise good place to visit. All ages will enjoy the place by scrawling into the glass chamber to take photo and experience by standing in middle or under the pond setup. Finally you will come through a mini shopping gallery and a refreshment area.

Very nice place to visit with family. Kids will also like it. Parking is adjacent. 50rs ticket for parking. 695 for adults. Didn't opt for VR experience (150rs per person) as our daughter was not old enough for that. Photographs can be taken by professionals there. Near the exit gate, you will get it in a photo or fridge magnet or snow globe type.

The Marine Kingdom on ECR provides a delightful experience, especially for young explorers discovering marine life and rare sea creatures. The well-designed layout of diverse fish tanks allows for a leisurely exploration, featuring highlights like the starfish touch experience and an impressive underwater tunnel. Plan for 4-5 hours of enjoyment. While tickets are a bit pricey, you can purchase them online; however, the benefits are minimal, requiring a visit to the counter for an entry card. Souvenirs are available for purchase at the end, and refreshments are accessible only at the exit. Regular cleanup of some glass tanks is recommended to enhance visibility. Improvements are needed in the maintenance of washrooms near the food area. Valet parking is offered for a nominal fee, but maintaining cleanliness in the parking area is essential.

Pros: 1. Good for kids. 2. Marine lovers can have a look on it. 3. Nice environment with good parking space (Parking is Rs50/- for car) Cons: 1. Many spaces were empty (maybe post covid complications) 2. Pricing (Correct from owner point of view for feeding fish, staff etc but Rs 550 for a common man for 1-2hrs its huge amount) 3. Eatables are kind of expensive. Overall review: One time visit worth.

We went over a weekend on 26th September. It was crowded than expected. Its a nice leisure place to go with family and kids. As it has opened after a long lock down only small maintenance issues was there, but still they have kept the place well maintained. They haven't a descent cafeteria outside with required items to have during exit. They don't allow any eatables inside. They also have a feeding of fish at regular intervals. It is also displayed as a show. Entry fess is 600rs and I felt it can be kept at 400 or 500rs. This would have attracted little more crowd.

Wonderful family experience, especially for kids, well maintained fish aquarium with nice collection of fishes, walk through tank could have been larger with more bigger variants of sharks and ray fish. Nice place to spend 3 to 4 hours with family, restaurants need to improve to give full family experience. Rating them at 4 star with expectation to see them improve and be a 5 star rated family experience place.

Best place for kids to spend the weekend. Couples can spend max 3 hours... with kids max 1.5 hours to 2 hours could be possible. Few locations are with poor ventilation esp the underwater exploration area. During the pandemic times it is better to safeguard yourself. Cost of ticket for kids and adults does not have much difference. it is just 20% diff.

Entry fee for adults is 650 For kids above 95 cm height it is 550 We have been to this place in 2019. And now in 2022 again. There is lot of development both inside and outside now. 1. Now the fishes count has also increased and big fishes are amazing to see up so close. 2. Neatly maintained. 3. Tunnel view is amazing. 4. After seeing the fishes there is a small store to buy soft toys. Here you can find some sea animals soft toys as well. They are very cute 5. Our four year old kid had lots of fun at Marine kingdom seeing the fishes. She wanted to see Baby shark 😃😃 6. There is a food court also where you can find a variety of foods.

It was a nice experience. I felt the entry fee was a bit high; it's 1390 for a couple. You can enjoy the view and explore different kinds of fish here. The perfect place to spend time with family The cafeteria facility was available on the left side, and the price was reasonable. A free locker facility is available at the entrance, and the staff are very friendly.

We booked the ticket online, so it helps us to avoid waiting in queue to get tickets. It is an awesome place for kids to enjoy seeing different types of sea animals. The mermaid show was really superb. They maintained the place very neat and clean. A food court is available but it's very costly. But food is good in tast wise. You will get only sandwich, burger, pizza and snacks items. Not lunch food. At the entrance they will take a photo of you or your family and provide a coupon to get those photos at the exit point. But when we approached the exit point they said it's chargeable and the minimum price of taking the photo is rs.350. I advise not to take those photos by spending that much money. If you are interested you can go ahead.

The place is fantastic to spend quality time and enjoy marine life display. The recycle plastic awareness expo was also a good initiative. Found some plastic covers floating in the underwater tunnel area. Request the authorities to take necessary actions to remove it and not let incidents like this happen again. Didn't like it. I agree there are lots of Sea Animals but the space for keeping them is Small, not enough to keep the bunch of fishes in small aquarium. The two poor little Meer Cats are inside a very small compound, kindly free them. Better not to visit here instead enjoy the Rides in Universal Kingdom. But the Ganpati Dance inside the water was good, that pool too is having many many different fishes, String Ray etc.

For a Ticket value of Rs 600/- per head, it is worthy aquarium in Chennai at par with some of the good ones at Southeast asia. This has only the fishes of limited varieties as aquarium, with a tunnel arrangement as well. They can add more varieties like turtles, prawns, starfish, lobsters, seahorses, coral reef, crocodiles, etc. There are no shows, like dolphin show, Coral show, sea manatee show, Sea lion shows, etc. Do not expect any interactive shows. At the entrance itself they have a Virtual underwater show at an additional cost of Rs 150/head. This is a 15 minute show, worth for kids. We can feel the underwater experience virtually sitting in a chair. One can spend about two to 3 hours easily. Photography is allowed. So plan and go prepared. Some tanks has a tunnel entry, one can enter through it and stand in the middle of fish tank for a good photograph as if u are in water. Caution: Once you enter, you have to finish and then only can come out for lunch. So plan your timing accordingly.

They place is themed with various aquatic themes like deep ocean and marsh land theme so they have sorted fishes according to them. * The tank's outer wall could be cleaned frequently, it looks smudgy with people's finger prints * The place is quite cold inside * Need to get car parking ticket in the counter

An excellent aquarium in Chennai. They have a variety of fishes and very large viewing panes. The viewing portals amidst the aquariums is novel ❤️ and we have to crawl below the tank to reach it. The huge marine tank at the end is the killer and it has lots of sharks and ray fishes. This tank has multiple viewing options and is a very exciting experience! Definitely would recommend for a visit!

All about Fish...! A wonderful indoor space suitable for family outings, showcasing a diverse collection of fishes from around the world. The fully air-conditioned setting allows for interactive experiences with starfish(you can touch and feel. You can also opt to take photos with family and friends for a fee. The entrance fee is 695 per person as of 2023. Keep in mind that virtual reality (VR) is available but might not offer the best quality. Overall, it's a great place to spend a relaxed day with your loved ones.

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting the VGP Marine Kingdom, a hidden gem that is often underrated for its beauty and the variety of marine life it houses. As soon as I entered the aquarium, I was greeted by the sight of colorful fishes swimming gracefully in their tanks. The aquarium is home to a diverse range of sea creatures, from exotic fishes to mesmerizing lobsters. I was amazed by the sheer variety of species on display, and the well-maintained and cleaned tanks made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were kind and helpful, providing information about the different species and their habitats. The entry fee was reasonable at 690 rs per head, and I found it to be a small price to pay for the enjoyment I got out of it. There was also a designated area for two-wheeler parking, which made it convenient for visitors. The canteen inside the aquarium served hygienic food, although the prices were a little on the higher side. However, the variety of food options made up for it. I spent about two hours there, but it was enough time to appreciate the beauty of the marine life and the overall experience. The doll store inside the campus added an interesting touch to the visit, making it a memorable experience that I will cherish for a long time. I would highly recommend VGP Marine Kingdom as a place worth visiting with friends and family for an enjoyable and educational experience.

Ideal for children and good relaxed outing. Also, the plastic waste reduction expo was a great initiative. But please take necessary action to clean plastics from the water body inside marine Kingdom. Saw two three plastic covers floating along with the fishes. Make sure you clean them properly so that the water ecosystem is intact

One of the best places to visit in Chennai. The hospitality of the staff as well as the organisation of various displays are commendable. Best time to go is between 12 noon and 2 PM to experience the feeding time of fishes, especially that of the sharks.

Surprisingly interesting, well designed and maintained. Decent collection and friendly staff. Good air conditioning. Staff very helpful. Clean. Wheel chair access and lift available. Very nice art exhibition focussing on conservation. Added a lot to the experience! Well done. 400-500 per head so be prepared to pay. No snacks and drinks allowed but they have a locker.

Our 6 year old was delighted. The tunnel is quite good. Don't miss the VR show . It was my first time and blown away. It took us 2 hours at a relaxed pace. The feeding isn't anything great. Loved the souvenir photos. Definitely a good visit for the family.

One day trip especially for family with kids. Elderly persons will also love to visit here. It's safe after covid too. Good ambience, better have a mask so that you can avoid the smelly environment, which they can't avoid due to the large open fish pots. Unlimited time allowed but hardly you could spend Maximum of 2 hours. You are not allowed with food or water inside. 550rs per head. Also there is a feeding time for the fishes, must watch for everyone. Around 2 to 4 there will be a feeding session.

VGP Marine Kingdom, is one of the must visit place in Chennai ECR. It is not only for Kids, but elders also can see different varieties of fishes and enjoy. Lot of colorful fishes, you can take many pictures as much as you can. Suitable for a weekend trip with family, add some more places to engage the whole day. Adjutant is VGP car parking, you can park your vehicle and go into the Marine kingdom.

As a hobbiest I really enjoyed this place. Lot of exotic fishes are displayed. Kids favorite clown fish, star fish, stingrays, mural eel, animone, lobsters, lion fish and watching sharks, batoids, grouper, travery & other marine fishes in close proimity was definitely a life time experience. Everyone must visit this place. Kids will love this place.

I have been to all many ocean aquariums around the world and this one did live upto the International standards. Charges are 550/- per adult and it is justified considering the quantum of aquatic species they maintain. You can enjoy scuba diving here as well.

Kudos to the effort taken by vgp which has been already valued with high effprts. But as usual poor maintenance by vgp. Why lay walkway when it's not going to be used. People keep on announcing(shouting) about the mermaid show photo shoot in the first floor at the entrance spoiling the ambience.

Too expensive. The tickets cost 550 for adults and it's just a 30 minute walk through a bunch of aquatic life forms. Maintainence is okay, smells a little bad in few places. Only the deep ocean part was awe worthy. Kids might be more entertained, because there's a huge collection of fishes etc, the habitat almost mimicks the natural.

VGP marine kingdom which is located in ECR near the VGP Universal kingdom, is mainly about the marine life. There are 5 levels of marine life in it and the last one ( exotic deep ocean) is very good. Other levels are also very good and attractive. Can take a lot of photos. It's the ultimate destination for people who love the marine life.

  • 1/5 MC T. 3 years ago on Google
It is too costly for such a small place. As they say according to their international counterparts they charge 1/4th of the place is all lies. I have been there also. The price over thr is 1200 wen converted from USD to inr. But u will need almost a whole day to complete that marine world . Whereas over here it is too small. P.S : IF IT IS MADE CHEAPER U CAN GO. OR ELSE DNT WASTE MONEY. IT S NOT WORTH .

This place would be exciting especially for toddlers. Built to mimic the Dubai aquarium so that our people also get to visit such kind of places at a budget friendly price. The overall trip would not take more than 1.5 hours. However, you can spend time as you wish before you could exit. Scuba diving and live feeding session at extra price. If you want to see live feeding sessions, plan your trip accordingly as they schedule it only twice a day.

  • 3/5 Super S. 3 years ago on Google
Its good but over price. They could have charged 250 for adults and 200 for kids but they charge 550 for adults and 450 for kids. + its a small area. Rest is good. You will get the feeling that you are walking in a tunnel under the sea. Kids will enjoy seeing different kinds of fishes.

We are big fans of the aquarium and looked forward to its opening to take our toddler to it, however there is no regard for Covid protocols, the staff and manager all work with out masks. They do not enforce guests to wear their masks. There is no one cleaning the surface of the tanks after you touch it. (there really should be a no touch policy). Also - we have gone after Covid now 3 times and our last visit - the population of fish are on a decline - it is really looking run down and not well kept. I urge the owners to see if there is not a way to bring this back to it original position as well as please implement stringent Covid guidelines .

Average experience for the ticket they charged. All tanks have glasses that look to zoom in what is inside. No dolphin is a disappointment.

Fantastic place to enjoy with family.I have never seen my kids excited this much, as they were, in this place. Very good place to spend time with children.. Entire place can be covered in a couple of hours, but there is no time limit, we can spend time as long as we want.

    Too much cost

  • 2/5 Rajan J R. 3 years ago on Google
It's an okay place, and super over charged. It's ridiculous the amount. Perhaps Rs.100/- to 150/- per head is reasonable. 550/- is just a rip-off

  • 4/5 deepthy m. 3 years ago on Google
Nice place to visit, you can variety of fish.

  • 4/5 Arjun P. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place, people can view different variety of fishes. Children will be more interested and surely they will enjoy by seeing the fishes. Touching star fishes are amazing. Cost for adult is rupees 600 and for Children 500 rupees. Cost seems to be bit overpriced. Parking seems to full during weekends.

  • 4/5 Harinarayanan S. 2 years ago on Google
Wonderful place for kids and Ok-ish for adults. I observe collections are improved since my last visit. Not much exciting unless anyone is such enthusiastic about marine life... Charges are little premium in my personal opinion on top of it parking charges could have kept free... Kids will enjoy for sure and my son never gets tired of visiting here.

  • 4/5 prudhvi m. 2 years ago on Google
One of its kind and kids will enjoy so much... There is snow kingdom beside so easy way to spend afternoon to night along with beach behind..

First of its kind in South India. A must visit place if u are going to Chennai. A unique experience and very informative for kids and adults alike.

  • 5/5 Learn A. 2 years ago on Google
Underwater aquarium was really good. Entry fee : 600. Parking : 50. Virtual Reality :150. Good place to spend your time when someone visits Chennai.

  • 4/5 Vigneshbalaji R. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place which has many collections of fishes. You can plan a day with your family and friends. Especially kids will love this place. Entry fee charged for adult - 600 and childrens - 500. Parking is available near by and parking fee is 50. No outside food is allowed inside.

  • 5/5 Prasanth K. 2 years ago on Google
A must visit place and best of the aquariums in the city. Kids enjoyed much throughout the place. Deep blue sea is the best, we can sit and relax by looking those big fishes. Prefer online booking and they have seperate queue for that. The only down side is the Food inside the place, so expensive and waste of money, and they only allow water and milk for kids.

  • 5/5 Vignesh V. 2 years ago on Google
Very novel initiative by the veterans of family entertainment in Chennai. The entire setup is well designed and good variety of marine wildlife is maintained here. I'm yet to see the advertised shows here...maybe they need to increase the frequency of these shows to engage the audience more and keep people coming back. Ticket pricing is on the higher side...it will do well to keep it more competitive and cater to a larger audience in the longer run. Overall very nice experience and well curated aquarium.

Nice place to visit esp for variety of 🐠🐟. Kids will enjoy. Don't miss the tunnel. That's the amazing part. VR zone is also worth to try. Overall good tourist place to visit. Food is not allowed inside. Can carry water. We can spend around 2 hours. Car parking facility available

Must Visit Place in Chennai, Initially i felt the price of the ticket is too high, but once i enter inside it's worth every Penny. Ticket Price: Adult Rs.600 Junior (Child)Below 90 CM Free Child Between 90 cm to 125cm Rs.500 Child above 125cm charged full fare. Rs. 600. Bike ride 3D Rs.100 for Kids

  • 4/5 Nivetha K. 2 years ago on Google
A must see hotspot in Chennai. Very neatly designed, first ever aquarium which has taken the city's sitings to the next level. But I wouldn't say the ticket cost is reasonable. It barely takes an hour or so to explore the entire place but it definitely a worthy treat for your kids if they like fishes.

This is a wow place... Seen couple of Aquarium across country and never the less VGP Marine Kingdom is must watch place specially Kids would love to wander around with enormous collections of marine species..Happy to give 5 Stars... Worth the money.

  • 5/5 lordkin r. 2 years ago on Google
Awesome place to see. Don't compare it with the places outside our country. Reasonably priced and maintained very good even after few years of the launch. Check for the feeding time for fishes. Some things can be added (Crabs, Octopus, Shell fishes). Easily we could spend 2-3 hours.

  • 4/5 Srinivas D. 2 years ago on Google
Good place for kids to watch the aquatic animals. Tunnel is excellent. There were few sharks as well. Many varieties of fishes can be seen. Well maintained as well. You can spend an hour or so here.

  • 5/5 Avismrita K. 2 years ago on Google
Gr8 place to enjoy for all ages. They offer scuba diving also. They have many types of marine animals. It includes sharks also. Overall experience was thrilling and full of fun. Worth of your money and time.

  • 5/5 Arun Kumar A. 2 years ago on Google
Fish. Fish. Fish. Lots of varieties of fishes. As I'm older, I felt little bit boring but a very good place for Kids. They will enjoy sure. Entrance is Rs. 600/- per individual (expensive, my opinion, since I'mnot enjoyed much). A wide car and bike parking available. Food court and wheel chair accessible entrance is available. Toys shopping zone. In simple, you can see fishes swimming happily(?) around here than in your plates 🤣

Amazing, international standards Marine zoo opened in India. Full scale aquariums, more like small ponds which you can enjoy. The varieties of fishes and sea animals are amazing. Do visit the Deep Sea section, which is 10X better than the 70m tunnel. The types of thrilling fishes in the Deep Sea section were amazing 🤩🤩. We also tried the cafeteria for the fried rice and it's good. There's a section at the entry to try Virtual Reality for 10 minutes for ₹150. The VR you can enjoy better once you have seen the fishes and returned back to entry. There's also a souvenir shop at the exit gate which basically consists of plush toys of sea animals and fishes. Do enjoy the photo shoot opportunities present at various points. Or you can buy a voucher to get your pics automatically clicked at various strategic places. PS: Very important tip. There's a viewing cylinder in the middle of various fish tanks which you can go inside by crawling inside. The views from inside the middle of the tanks is much better but little cramped for adults.

Nice place to hangout with family. Kids will really enjoy. The management has maintained the aquarium well. The experience inside will be nice and different if you have not visited any aquariums like this before. No time limits like in the nearby VGP Snow Kingdom. So you can relax and enjoy. Some tanks have space inside where one can stand and pose for pics and also can have a closer look at the fishes. The underground aquarium was really good. It was cool seeing the large fishes swimming above you. Worth visiting!

A great place for kids to learn about fishes. Also a nice and calm place for adults to hang out and yes definitely a heaven for fish lovers. You could Sit there and enjoy the under water view. Things named as Souvenirs are just toys that we see at all stores. Nothing as a marine related souvenir to bring back as memory. A best in class dine in arena is available to have food if you need. A must visit place for kids.

  • 5/5 Shibin G. 1 year ago on Google
A tad pricey at Rs. 650 per person for adults, but definitely worth at least one visit. The place is fun for both adults and kids and is wheelchair-friendly as well. Visit this place to be struck in awe as sharks and giant sting rays glide above your head in the 70m water tunnel! P.S. Don't forget to bring the inner child in you and crawl into the center of the aquariums!

Very happy to view this set up in my own country. But to reach to the level of the Aquariums of Singapore, Bangkok or Dubai, they need better lighting, very good water filteration system and good staff to clean the glass of the enclosures regularly. They have variety of fishes including sharks.

  • 5/5 srinivasan v. 10 months ago on Google
Entry price i felt is a bit on higher side. But overall it's worth visiting..Lots of varieties of fish. Place is kind of air conditioned, so no need to worry about heat. Washroom and small snack bar is present inside. Note that any kind of food or water bottle is not allowed while going inside.

Marine Kingdom was one of the kind. We have visited many aquariums in India but this was really unique. It is built for experiencing the buty of marine life in a very comfortable and beautiful way. It has very large variety of aquatic life and presented to look like real under water experience. The tanks are large and some having inner tubes for kids to go in and have panoramic experience. The tunnel was simply awesome. The sharks, stingray and many other large and small and colourful fishes were just amazing. For kids it was a kind of scuba experience which is generally not allowed in many scuba destinations. Totally recommended to visit. The only setback I felt was the ticket pricing.

  • 4/5 Madhur C. 5 months ago on Google
It's pricey but almost worth it. Buying tickets online has minimal benefits because you still need to visit the counter to get an entry card. There's a massive variety of fishes and other sea critters in the numerous tanks and the layout is mapped properly to allow you to take your time viewing each one. It's a great place to bring young kids as well as long as they do not scream or smack the tanks the fishes are in. The jellyfish tank, touch experience and underwater tunnel are this place's highlights. Overall, it's worth a one time visit.

  • 5/5 Aryaman 5 months ago on Google
It was a splendid experience. Recommending to book the tickets in advance so that you don't have to wait to enter the beautiful marine kingdom. There was a showcase of different types of fishes and other aquatic animals. The tunnel is one of its specialities. You can go under few of the aquariums and your friends or family can take pics, it will seem like you are swimming with those fishes. There are few cafes and also a souvenir shop at the end. Must visit place !!

  • 4/5 Aravind R. 5 months ago on Google
Really worth the visit well maintained facility with assorted collection of marine life. Nice place to spend with kids and family. I noticed there is not enough information about their exhibit there is a small screen reads about fishes which flips before I could read. Should add more information screen at every exhibit about the fishes there.

Visited: On Sunday afternoon Parking : Available (walking distance) Waiting: 5 Mins (bought tickets at ticket counter) Good place for family outing & ideal for kids. The aquariums are well laid out with information displays. You can experience whole thing in 1 hour plus at normal pace. Walk inside aquarium (Tunnel walk) with fishes around is an experience of its kind. Eating joints: Available Souvenir shop: Available

Place is pretty good. They do have Vallet parking and charge a nominal fee. The place is pretty crowded in the weekends. You can easily spend 4-5 hours if you take your time inside. The food and drinks are available only at the end of the Place. There is even starfish tank which kids and touch and feel the star fish. They have good kiosk for buying souvenirs at the end

  • 4/5 Asmit T. 5 months ago on Google
The tickets were a bit pricey, but the overall experience was good. It was a lot of fun exploring the exhibits and seeing all the different dish. However, in some places the glass was a bit dirty, making the view of the fish somewhat blurry. Despite that l, i had a good time at the aquarium.

  • 5/5 Raghunandan D. 5 months ago on Google
What a wonderful place to visit. Thoroughly enjoyable especially with kids. There are many species of fishes one can look and enjoy. Recommend to visit during feeding time as fishes will be very active. Tunnel is beautiful to visit. Ticket price could be reduced a bit. Additionally, visit vr zone that shows close to 5 to 7 mins of clips which is enjoyable and you get the feel of being under the ocean. The ticket is priced at 150 per person. Restaurant and merchandise store are there. A quality time could be spent here.

Best place to explore the marine creatures. They have maintained the kingdom so well and it’s not too crowded. Kids will have the best time and touch pool is a plus. Must visit if you’re in Chennai!

  • 5/5 Srinivas M. 5 months ago on Google
Amazing experience! Huge variety of aquatic species and real feel of being in deep sea. Must visit place for all age groups particularly for children. Entry ticket price is quite expensive but worth experiencing this place atleast once.
