For ages Subha Hotel is running at valasaravakkam the taste and the quality is so good still. Recently that have done some renovation exterior and interior 👍🏻. The quality, quantity and the value for the money is the best of them. They where so quick and maintained a neat ambiance inside the hotel.please wear a mask, they do wear a mask 👌🏻.

It's an average South Indian restaurant. Went there for breakfast. They have the usual fare _ Idli, dosas, vadais, kitchadi, pongal and parota in the morning. I had a kitchadi which was just ok - nothing great. I also had a sambar vada that was quite good - soft, moist and sambar tasting good. Somehow the sambar didn't taste particularly good with the kitchadi - but was quite good with the sambar vada. No raw onion toppings on the sambar vada and that's fine. I also had a masala vada. It was again just fine. I believe it would have been quite better had it been hot and fresh from the kadai. The red chutney is better than the white chutney. One issue is that despite being self service they don't have open access to sambar and chutney. In a way that's good - it prevents possible contamination of the other customers. I have seen customers serve themselves with the same hand they eat or touch their plate with the ladle in some restaurants that keep open access. But getting in line in the middle of eating for extra sambar and chutney is a bit uncomfortable. Best would be to keep a few cups of sambar and chutney ready at all times for people to pick up. For that matter not to crowded on a weekend morning. It's completely self service. The promptness neither makes you go "wow!!" Nor "what the hell?". Attitude is the same - neither warm and charming nor rude. In fact they are all quite busy all the time. So they may not even acknowledge your presence till they get free from the order they are writing in at that time. They are quite prompt in clearing the table once you finish. There are a few tables with seating and a few tall ones to stand and eat. Ambience wise again - neither Ugghh!! nor superclean.

I have been a customer of Subha for past 12 years or more and so far quality of food is super. I have been having food here when the cost of variety rice was Rs.16/-. I hope Hotel Valai Subha will continue their service at very affordable price like this to benefit people.

A very good tiffin center and affordable. Also if are planning to have your breakfast or dinner and you are in arcot road then please prefer this. Between porur to vadapalani you can't find any better affordable tiffin centers. Yes, you can go to Srinivasha, Sangeetha, Saravana Bhavan if you are not worried to pay more.

Nice vegetarian hotel with mostly of tiffen items and variety rices during lunch. Tiffen items were very tasty and cheaper compared to normal hygiene hotels of similar kind. It's just over the road of Porur valasaravakkam. For decent family and budget vegetarian this is the best at the locality.

Didn't expect this from them. The food which I ordered had fallen hair in it. I used to order food regularly from them but the quality of food is so worse there. I won't be recommending this hotel to anyone of my friends. They portray such a good atmosphere outside but such unhygienic quality of food

I very rarely visit the hotel. As mostly i order online. Taste wise its so good. Their packing is perfect. And very fast delivery too. Kurma will be awesome. And ghee pongal is woow filled with cashews. Sambar vadai is yummy . Rawa kitchidi is mouth watering. Parota stays hot n fills our stomach. Poori n masala is my all time favourite sunday breakfast. Overall its 👍🏼

Overall a good vegetarian restaurant , cost is average . The taste and portion size is good . They close serving evening snacks a bit early. Ambiance is good nothing special. If you don't expect anything extraordinary , this restaurant will check all the necessary boxes.

Well speaking of food outdoor, I really enjoy here, since the month it started in our Valasarawakkam area. Those days, say about 18 years ago, idly was just Rs.2.00 each. My night dinner after work getting down from bus would end here most of the days with idly. But also other items like Puri potatoe masala, dosai: plain, SPC., Masala or may be utthappam choola Puri, idiyappam; all are till date tasty. Those days it was mostly for the lower middle class, but after one of its competitor who left during the COVID period, these people were the only vegitarian ruling party in our area. Looking at the rush for parcels, they raised the standard and the price to keep up with the rise in all other aspects, they were compelled (I believe) to increase the product price. Always u can c the smile on the services they given by their trusted, loving, long lasting employees. The owner/ manager, although not seen much by me, seems to noticing each and every action in nd out. As it is located just in the valasarawakkam to porur side bus stop, even working women find it easy to pick the food children like, go home and relax themselves for some time. A must visit restaurant for most singles living nearby. I enjoy having food there itself at times. Sunday's would go foor lunch (just a bigger hall opened only during this meal with ac.), Accompanying my family and at times with friends. Good to c them all. Even the clean boy( actually an old man), does a perfect job, having the eating area, tables and chairs clean, clear and neat. Hats off to all u guys, not only participating in filling our stomachs with harmless good food, but also for the kind service. 👍🏿🙏🏽🥰

A drastic change in very few months. Hygiene is very bad. Dusty & dirty dining place. All north indian staffs are unhygienic. Will not recommend to anyone.

Vegetarian restaurant located at valasaravakkam. Self service. Accepts UPI payment. Make the payment at counter, get the bill and collect the food. Hand wash is outside. Modestly priced. Must try is Pongal with vadai.

Bought chilly gopi dry, but the gopi is not cooked proper, raw tastes only came in outer layer, and finally forget to put salt in gobi masala, totala waste money and time,

Been it's customer since 2004... Appo it has items for 6 rupees. Now the quality of the food has become better. Rates are same as other restaurants like Bakya or Saravana Bhavan

I had taken parcel from this hotel yesterday. I got food from this hotel previously but yesterday food cause severe food poisoning to us aftr breakfast for both my mom n me n my family members. Workers who are packing should wear gloves .. n maintain proper hygiene n head cap . So better avoid this hotel .

Aappam with coconut milk and Rava dasa are our favourites here.Bill amount is always lesser than other hotels.

Cheap and value for money, recently hotel has been renovated,place is very much crowded during evening hours.authentic south food along with other dishes are available. Service is a bit slow during these peak hours but overall experience was satisfactory
