I am a regular customer of Uttar Bhojan - Taste the North and had seen how they make the tasty North Indian dishes in their Valasarawakkam outlet. When I was told that they are planning to launch Dakshin Bhojan - Taste the South, I could not wait for that to happen. As soon as the outlet was open, I went straight and ordered few of the dishes (pics shared). What did I order? 1) Lemon Rice 2) Puliogare 3) Idli & Vada 4) Upma 5) Sambar Vada 6) Uthappam 7) Pongal 8) Vazhakkai Bajji 9) Curd rice Why did I order? Firstly, I was impressed with their quality. This coupled with some great pricing and irresistible taste made me to go for it. I did not order them all in one go. I ordered on various occassion and placing them all under one review. They use mineral water apart from using Agmark oil. They do not reuse the oil. Their ingredients are sourced from one place and hence they maintain their quality. Their kitchen is maintained well and so as the staffs who are neat. Their service is too good to resist. The ambiance of perfect for family or small get together. There is no extras use of oil. There is no excess use of any of the other ingredients as well. This means, you get to eat some of the finest foods which gives you the feel f tasting the home made food which is their motto. Give it a try. You’ll become their patrons, forever.

We bought chapathi and pulkas with two side dishes . All are good . Only suggestion is to provide onion , cucumber and lemon can be provided as complimentary, since the disses being North Indian style.

The taste was too good and the quantity was adequate. A must visit place for North indian taste.

Food was good in taste. Quantity was adequate. Pricing is relatively high. Ample space and peaceful sitting arrangement. Their main activity is take aways via online platforms. Visit recommended.

It is very interiorly located. Poor maintenance. No proper water supply in hand wash area. Quality and quantity of food is good. Menu is too big but provides only one dal variety, one sabji and one other side. If only 3 dishes per day are to be provided then what is the use of menu card???? Lastly, Server is not able to explain properly... not a good one for dine-inn.... take away is ok

I'm still wondering how some hotel can cook such a pathetic north indian food naming themselves with north indian name. Please send your chef for getting trained before cooking.

The place is actually not suitable for dine in now. We came here and they arranged for a table after we came. They mainly cater take out and online deliveries. The food was ok but very very expensive. For dine in with poor conditions it was too expensive.

This is located in pakka residential area, very interior, yet the quality of the food served here is very good. For the ones who like silent atmosphere can try dine in here. These people try to deliver authentic Uttar Pradesh based food (100% veg)

Loved the food and the hospitality. By far the best place for authentic North Indian food. It's a place with limited in-house dining ,so better call before you go in there or alternatively sit at home relax by ordering it online thro their own web site or swiggy or zomato

Food taste and qty is good. But waiting time is too much. If u want to have dinner you should order at 7 to have it at 8.30pm. pls improve in waiting time

I really enjoy the taste of UttarBhojan always. Today I had ordered for Ghee Chappathi and kurma. May be simple. But the involvement they show in their cooking is appreciatable. They really take care of us ( Customers). Whenever I order my food and call them, they talk to us very politely. Particularly their Owner. I honestly recommend this restaurant for homely north indian food. They Have south Indian chef also.

Day Before Yesterday have ordered Chat, Roti, Paratha, Subji 's & on noticing the update as Panner Tikka is a Special one in Uttar bhoojan. Also placed order for Paneer Tikka with above shared varieties. Other than Paneer Tikka all are good in Taste to eat. The money spent on Paneer Tikka is complete waste. It was not prepared well and not good in taste to eat. I never tasted such Worst Paneer Tikka. So please don't order anything as special one to any place. Especially Paneer Tikka at Uttar Bhoojan

Great taste, tried Aloo and Paneer paratha, these were fantastic. Also side dish like Malai kofta and Lady finger sabji was excellent. I strongly recommend it.

Fantastic north indian food.. Venkatesh service is too good..! Tried Ghar Ki Thali and Panner Burji.. awesome taste 😊 No dine in option that's the only challenge.. you will get take aways at best pricing..! Hope to open dine inn soon.. give a try via Zomato or Swiggy !

Strict place. No extra pickle. Taste is very good. Bit expensive for the locality. There is no proper sitting infrastructure. Kind of Central kitchen for ecommerce supply.
