Very near to my home and the food quality and taste is good will visit this hotel at least monthly trice, they also sell the side dishes separately like weekly once I buy vada curry 🤣 which goes well with appam! My fav is morning combo breakfast and chilli parrota for dinner. They also serve indo Chinese foods as well.. Have attached few pics of mrng quick breakfast combo or mini tiffen

Due to purattasi time I'm regularly ordering veg foods, in recent times I've ordered Gobi noodles, panner fried rice, mushroom fried rice, panner 65, gobi65, panner butter Masala. Out of these dishes I would suggest the Gobi noodles, panner 65, they providing in 500ml containers only it doesn't fill our tummy. Best is buy a main dish and and side dish it will surely sufficient for fill our tummy. Gobi65 also good taste but some cauliflower are not boild properly some pieces are raw veggies that's the only issue don't buy Panner butter Masala it taste like tomato gravy it has too much of tanginess tomato flavor and tanginess is too dominant, i could taste any Masala flavors, panner and mushroom fried rice are good but they don't have taste any spiciness it's taste likely plain fried rice little bit low salt and spicy. They also Best hotel for Tiffin items in a decent price range. I never seen this hotel has empty they always have customers for dine in or for takeaways. When we buy Vegetarian food mostly we prefer this hotel because they have good taste and quality of food.

Newly renovated taste and quantity has down alot. The service is also very poor. The previous owners were Manglorians so the taste was like udipies. But now the taste has gone down and ambience has improved. Even the Idli was not cooked properly. This place needs to improve taste to retain customers.

Has both A/C(fixed time) and NonAC dining. Card payment available. Full fledged Tamil Meals not available. But there are meals variants. Has also fresh juice counter.

I ordered paneer butter masala and naan. See the size of the dabba they gave paneer butter masala. It's the smallest box in the world and that also they gave only half. How money minded they are?

Denied the call even from swiggy customer care representative. Asked the delivery person to cancel the food, when he asked about the delay.. we ordered meals, they charged 150+tax, but no side dish at all,only sambar, rasam, buttermilk and onion raitha,.. no kootu or poriyal,.. very very irresponsible restaurant.. so arrogant.. swiggy has to remove this restaurant from list, to safeguard their reputation.. pls don't buy anything here. Worst ever experience ..

I went to this place with my family for lunch today. Being a weekend, I expected good crowd but what Isaw phenomenal. How the hotel handled the situation was NOT so good. There were 4 waiting points 1. At the entrance of AC floor ( both floors) 2. They allocated table after good 30 min wait and further wait at the till table was cleaned 3. Order and wait for the food 4. Next was completely Unexpected - waiting for the second serve of Rice. At this moment we decided to vacate our table without finishing ( no food to eat ) our lunch. NOT so good a experience with family I strongly believe the situation could have been handled well, differently. 1. Informing the customer at the entrance that it would take 45 min to reach the table and leaving the choice with customer 2. Creating a better waiting hall /space 3. Cook more as you have the exact number of people waiting in the lobby. Any restaurant can't serve ALL customers on a given day...try to work on customer experience NOT the billing Yaa bill was presented to me Promptly on time 😊 Regards B Saravanan

Food had been great here. Available at reasonable price. Service could be improved a bit. Had ambience of an old restaurant.

Few selective items taste extremely good while some disappoint us. Service is bad. Waiters show a lack of interest in work. They don't greet their customers, they don't recommend their specials, they use aggressive tone and stay near us staring while eating. The atmosphere is decent. Good for regular dine-in. Most items in their menu won't be available. That is a huge minus.

Not like old taste they have to improve the taste of the food a big disappointed for me bcoz it's my favorite hotel but now I don't like the taste

I happened to visit them on a Saturday night dinner with a moderate crowd. As this was my first time started with Idly and decided to go further on how that tastes. To my surprise Idly was too good and their sambar as well. Next ordered their naan and paneer butter masala combo and this was literally out of the world to be honest. I've attached the photo of it as well 😁. Many hotels in and around serve this combo, having tasted everything I would say with full confidence that Hotel Akshaya serves the softest naan. And lastly tried their Schezwan fried and it was decent and nothing to complain about. The prices were also pretty affordable. Definitely give it a try. You will love it.

Excellent south Indian breakfast like Idli, Vada, Dosa, tea, milk. Very tasty and medium spice level.

I had tomato rice at Hotel Akshaya, situated in Kodambakkam, Chennai and it tasted so great and natural and didn't cause any stomach upset. I am really satisfied with the hotel and planning to visit again. I see a lot of people liking to come to Hotel Akshaya. Their customer service is superb.

Ordered through Swiggy..ragi dosa and plain dosa was old ones ..the banana leaf was fresh ... very bad attitude of the restaurant... sending rejected dosa to online customers

Hi, We went and got vegan noodles and chilli parotta; the taste was terrible and the harsh scent of the ginger garlic paste was overpowering. Here's the second unacceptable thing: at first, I saw a rubber band while eating parotta, but I didn't tell anyone because I didn't want to make a scene. However, later, I found "steel diswashing scotch" in noodles, which was shocking. To be honest, this is a major problem and the hotel's response wasn't appropriate. They apparently believed that saying "sorry" would take care of the problem, but how can I consume "diswashing Scotch"? Please understand that I will never endorse this hotel.

Nice place to have eat yummy lunch here but it is very expensive food items when compared to other hotels.
