A compact veg-only place located on the top floor with limiting seating. The ambience was straightforward so jumping right into the food. Thali - Limited veg thali with 3 different veggies; dal, chawal and papad; pretty much all the dishes were mildly to nil spiced owing to the type of audience they cater. The roti goes well with all the sabzi, good Phulka/Gobi paratha - Thin roti hot right from the fire; went pretty well with the Aloo mutter (potato and peas); had buttery flavour with smooth consistency of the gravy Veg pulav - Typical pulav with a smoky flavour with it; though not the best, they had their ante up to fill the tummies well (low spice level) Masala papad - Papad with chat masala, onions and tomatoes with good crunch, MEH to me though Jaljeera - SO GOOD a drink to have with any meal; the chat masala helps any bad tummy to get across the meal; sweet, refreshing Orange ice-cream - Ice-cream served inside the orange core with peel; the infusion of both sour and sweetness from every bite was WOW!! Subtle taste with a good kick!! The off-street parking might be a concern during peak hours; while service was decent enough with not much of waiting time, the prices were okayish on the whole considering all the dishes.

After the renovation , the ambience is much better than previous setup and the prices of food items increased a bit. Rajwada thali should be the go to order here. Jaljeera, dal and khichdi tasted good. My wife likes aloo Paratha here so I have to make frequent visits here😄😄 which is of course worth it . Waiters are polite and attentive to our requests. Over all decent no frills restuarant.

What a Pure veg food, we ordered thali they served unlimited Phulka and chaval. It was awesome. Veg lovers must try this place in Anna Nagar. We cannot find the place because the pathway is a small, restaurant located on the 3rd floor by use of lift or stare we can go.

Everything tasted so good & authentic. Ordered one extra Aloo paratha to chk the taste... It was just yum... To have a happy ending ordered Malpua... It was sizzling hot n very yum... Complete satisfaction with not much guilty... Place is decently maintained.. perfect for families

The food was amazing, but crowded on Saturday evening, expect a waiting period of 1 hr on weekends. When I saw the crowd I thought of going to another place. But believe me after having the food 1 hr waiting is worth of it. Malpova, Aamrus (mango pulp) was amazing. The food taste was above average. Only waiting time is more. May be in future may expand the place. Good restaurant for Rajasthani food.

For authentic Rajasthani food this is one of the best places. We had sarson ka saag, makai roti, gatta sabji and tomato soup. It is hard to find real tomato soup these days and the one served here is amazing. Light on the wallet and the stomach.

Didn't even know this place existed as it is well near A2B. Amazing ambience and great food but I would mostly prefer this as a lunch place. The best part was that even though the menu was fully in Hindi, people who took the order were kind enough to translate the name of the dish to Tamil so that we could understand and order accordingly. Kudos to the amazing hospitality.

The restaurant is located in the 2nd floor, so it was difficult to spot the place. Their unimited thali is awesome and worth the price. Other starters are also cheaper. The Thali includes unlimited Phulka and Rice with Dhall, Gravy, Curd, Masala Buttermilk and 3 side dishes and a sweet.

Authentic Rajasthani unlimited meals. Their Rajasthani unlimited thali is value for money. This is the ideal place for people like me who prefer our food without onion and garlic. The meals are of excellent quality. The ambience is also very nice. The staff are extremely courteous.

Staffs are North Indian, doesn't understand Tamil or English. Food below average The thali costs Rs410 (Unbelievable) 1.For a thali the dishes are very few( roti/rice/khichadi( but it's Pongal) other dishes are just gravy/vegetable (dhal,aloo/capsicum) buttermilk & sweet. THEY SHOULD HAVE NAMED THIS AS MINI LUNCH , IT'S NOT THALI! 2.Roti is good ,but nothing special since there's no good gravies for that. Even a very good Non veg meal in annanagar is from rs 200(unlimited) with excellent taste. 3.Train your staff about the menu, they're clueless if a question is asked. Not Recommended.

One very nice sweet spot at Chennai, Anna Nagar. Food is excellent and inexpensive. Their roti's are the best you can get at chennai. I will definitely suggest bajra roti and kadi. Or, the rajasthani rajwadi thali is something you can get a taste of everything... nicely taken care by nice and friendly staff. I do think they can change all the tables and chairs, update with better ambience and update wash area etc. I wouldn't give them a good rating for this aspect.. also table cloth is preferred than cleaning while someone is waiting on the table. Overall, good food covered everything!! Cheers!!

One of the most accessible place for Rajasthani food in Chennai. Food is really good. You will have to wait for 20-30 min before you get a table during rush hours. Service when crowded is so so..one suggestion.. DO NOT sit at the corners of the restaurant! Especially during peak rush hours.. You will go unnoticed by the waiters... lol ...Even if you wave your hands or shout for help they won't be able to hear or see you. Overall a nice place for pure veg Rajasthani food if you are patient enough.

We ordered one Rajwadi thali, paneer bhurji, paneer masala, phulka, lachha Paratha, veg fried rice, tawa puloa, buttermilk, lassi, gulkand kulfi. Everything except tawa puloa tasted excellent. Tawa puloa alone was average since the masala was too much in it. We went on a Saturday evening. We had to wait around 10 minutes to get a table. The restaurant was very crowded.

Not worth the money. No pakoda in kadi, no fresh vegetable. Does not provide 300/- thali. Forces 400/- charges, adds one hard gulab jamun and some jaljeera to the menu. Not worth 400/-. If Google deletes this, they are fooling people too!

Just love the place. Every customer is welcomed and spoken to with a huge smile . I have been regularly visiting this place for the last 14 years and never felt a difference in taste or the manner they receive the diners or the way they serve food with love.

Thali is good on some days and okayish on some days due to the dishes on the specific day. The ghee kichidi was very tasty. No starters on the thali. The phulkas are soft .

If you wanna try authentic rajasthani dishes be prepared to wait to get a table. But worry not, it's worth the wait. They serve hot yummy thali. Rotis are fresh and tasty. Best of Rajasthan served on plate to enjoy.

This is one of the best Rajasthani restaurants in town. Located at 3rd floor with a dedicated lift and limited roadside parking, this restaurant is also airconditoned with good ambience. Reasonably priced with good quantity proportions this is a blissful restaurant for vegetarians. A must visit one.

The only scary part is the way to the restaurant. It sort of makes you feel "where am i going?" Once inside and you start eating, you can't stop! Those who have never had pure rajasthani food may take some time to adapt to the food. But certainly everyone will enjoy it.

You need to like Rajasthani food to enjoy it. Car parking is a challenge. Service though fast is not very comforting. I had taken my super senior parents for a change of cuisine and they were not at ease since they did not identify with the food nor were they explained to about the options. I, on the other hand liked it and encourage groups to vet their palates with some mouth watering food.

Good food, terrible service, inconveniently located in a neighborhood where parking is difficult in the evenings. We called to reserve ahead but they don't take reservations. Went to discover a minimum of 30-40 minute wait time. Pro tip- Be prepared to eat your first dinner someplace else and wait at the restaurant until you're seated for their dinner - which you can then comfortably eat as a second meal.

Healthy, Hearty, Sustaining, Flavoursome, Delicious, Satisfying Meal! The list of complimenting words can be added more and more. "Rajwadi Thali" ~ sweet, jaljeera/buttermilk, salad, 3 type of sabji, dal, khadi, curd, unlimited roti, bajra roti, khichdi, plain rice, rasam. Most satisfying meal. Just that you won't have the stomach to have anything more the whole day after that meal. It would be like stomach filling and heart filling too. Staffs were so courteous, service was simply quick from serving to billing, place was neatly organised. Flawless! Felt personally that our kids should be brought here instead of feeding with junks. I would prefer bringing them here, whenever they wish to have restaurant food. Simply Loved It! Must TRY!

Best place to dine authentic Rajasthani food !!! Tastes great like home food and, we would also get a good variety of delicacies at a very reasonable price. Staffs and the family running the restaurant are very friendly, sensible and hospitable. Perfect eat out for family/friends/solo dining.. Hats off to Shri Rajasthani Dhaba team for maintaining their quality since their inception !!!

Whole Rajasthani Dhaba team is a very very honest setup. Highly user-friendly in their dealings. They do not see the money first...they provide things to our comfort. We don't feel like bargaining anything with them. Food is not at all harming the system. Something a different experience. Even when they are busy, they don't show any hasty behavior...very mush composed which every business person should learn. Great !

Used to be a regular with friends during college days (2000-2004). Only recently I found that the place survived times. So visited mainly for nostalgia. Used to be a single menu dine in back then. Now serves a wider menu! Hospitality, taste, covid precautions are top notch. Taste is subjective - our family including the kid enjoyed! Was a little disappointed in not getting to have dal bhati churma.. apparently these are available only on saturdays.
