This used to be a good outlet, catering to the local population. Now caters mostly to exports! The shelves are virtually empty of what you want and has things you don't want but you better want the substitutes to your actual choices! Because either they are so less and all sold out or exported! I don't want to go here so often!

Best sweets and savoury in the town. Packing is very neat and good and suitable for foreign travel. Food is good and tasty. Price is very reasonable for the quality. Ample parking. Ready mix will be very good.

Food quality is good .Basundi and Chats are more famous. Lunch is better than any other Hotels in Chennai. I am a regular visitor of this hotel.

Best south Indian food place. The ambience is decent. Holds upto 50 people maximum at once. There's no parking space for cars but there is parking space for two wheelers! The food is really really good. Kancheepuram idlis and Adai Avial is their signature dish. Definitely worth a try! Highly recommended!

Nice place for authentic Tamil Nadu snacks. Besides 'murukku, cheedai, Mysore-pak and poli you can get Idli, Dosai powders and a variety of 'thokku' or ready mix pastes.

Bought Chettinadu garlic mixture. It was pathetic. Ate just a little. But it didnt digest at all. Gave me severe heartburn. Don't know if something is wrong with the ingredients or the oil they use. These ppl are selling old stock and rancid stuff.

On calling the phone number listed as that of West Mambalam branch, the call goes to branch at Bazullah road T nagar. Since Ashok Nagar branch was closed, I asked the person who attended the phone call to tell about status of West Mambalam branch. I was given a very rude and arrogant reply. If it is a chain of shops and customer enquires about another branch it would be prudent to avoid arrogant replies. Moreover the call was made to the other branch because of the shop uploading wrong phone number. Hope things are rectified.

The south indian savouries work good here. The thattai and the murukh and the white pedas and a lot more are my favourites here.

One of my favourite places for Sweets & Snacks. All items are very fresh and tasty. One great thing is that they don't use the oil repeatedly. Every day, they will use only fresh oil, so that your health is not affected in anyway. You should try their Samosas - matchless taste. Previously there was no Branch for them. The main outlet was only in Adyar. Now they have branches in every area. Had they opened their branches earlier, many sweet shops like Krishna Sweets, A2B would not have crept up.

Myself and my wife had been rhe Bazullah road branch of Grand sweets shop on 01/06/2022. As it well known the brand is legendary. The quality of sweets and savouries is good. The brand pickles are tasty. Restaurant is not operational. Good wishes to the Team. As all the customers have been complaining - this outlet on Bazullah Road was once upon a time a bustling outlet - Now none of the standard Items Like Chips / THattai / Murukku are available. Month end means they will not produce the items that was the reasoning they gave me when I questioned what happened why no stock. What a Wierd response. I do not know how they are making breakeven cash flow to even play electricity charges. Pathetic ! service / Definitely have changed my Snack shop to a better quality and better service.
