Mutton in Biriyani was superb. They dumped peper in soup and call it Chettinadu style (face palm). Prawn was of good quality but masala was pretty average and quantity was less for the cost (Biriyani bowl looks big, but actual quantity is less). Don't buy Jigarthanda if you had tasted ones in Madurai. Ok restaurant with friendly staff. Some items are good, no work on ambience to justify the cost, given the quantity and taste.

Vanakkam! Visited during lunch. No option what's in the menu card. Choices we're limited especially the fish dishes. In an easy to access location. Portion sizes aren't that filling. Quality of the food is ok. Again when there is crowd don't expect service at all. Service attention is very lees. Many waiters are running around. Biryani:- Chicken pieces were dry, biryani hardly warm, and it was not tasting as a biryani at all. It tasted more of Pulao and were sorely disappointed by biryani.

A nice hotel with lot of South Indian varieties... Tried meals and Turkey briyani... Taste is good but quantity is less for what we pay .. Only High class people can afford this food

Fish biryani priced at 300+ and the quantity is not even good for a single person. So the considering the pricing and the tast and ambience it is an average rated restaurant. Can get better biryani at better price easily nearby eg. Paradise

Service was very good both for parking and in the restaurant. It's on main road. Dining area was very good with air conditioning. Ambience was very good with informative pictures. Service was very good even there was good crowd. They were managing well. Food was good, prices are okay. Good place for break during long travel

Being a fan of madurai kannappar and its services, I would say I like every bit of it, but the thing that tops the list is the range of food it offers to its customer and users is far beyond any of its competitors. madurai kannapar not only give priority to its customers but also stand out in customer service management.

I generally don't review too bad about the food but at the same time the food needs to be good enough for the price we pay. They don't have any usual starters which you can easily get in among all other decent restaurants but they didn't offer and they didn't have enough no of servers too to lend the customer concern nor orders. Food were way too normal and humongous mix of clove spice in the mutton curry and chicken Biriyani which literally failed the impression about the food itself and quality of the food isn't that great too. Ambience is quite good but food isn't good at all, I have seen many ppl complaining about the food during our dining period and which clearly shows thay need to improve a lot in the quality and taste for sure. Pls work on your quality of the food and don't disappoint the customers who are visiting the restaurant. I had very bad experience.

One of the worst restaurants I have ever seen. Food here was average but they served cold briyani. Nothing on their menu was available. Their chicken lollipop was made with bajji batter. Vanjaram fish was very old. Looked like karuvadu. I didn't even take pictures of the food. Not recommended.

Biriani rice has no salt and is half baked. Chicken pieces are not soft. All starters are very costly but dish size is so small & less quantity. Very very costly. Waste of money. Check pics.

Food was overwhelming yet some of the items were very new to me so the taste was confusing. I ordered a veg meal. 6 items are included with rice. The rice quality was good. There was no proper daal. 1 katori of suji halwa (orange colour). Fresh lime soda was good.

Do not approach this place if you need good food. The day I visited, the service was very poor and the food quality is really bad. The staff were horrible and were very rude. Please spend 5 more minutes and go to madurai pandiyan opposite to DLF to have a better food and experience. Food was delayed more than 40 minutes and was not even close to okay.

Gimmicks at the front of this restaurant made me and my friend who reaides nearby caught the attention to get into this hotel. We had good soup but worst main dishes. Paratha and mix veg curry is like eating paratha with jaggery kind of sweetness. They mixed up every left over gravy and made this mixed veg curry. They do have counters for chaat items and quick refreshments like idlies, dosa etc at the entrance. Not sure how that tastes.

Food - average, Place - good Parking - problematic Service - poor Unlimited Veg Meals was ok for 160, their chicken fry was decent 250 for half (similar to tandoori but deep fried) Chicken biryani was the poorest - tastewise and quantity wise. Service - poor because of the parking issues, and employees quite rude behavior, throwing the card to table after swiping, asking ppl rudely to swap tables, or seating for their ease of serve, watchman issues with ppl parking, fyts ongoing

Very very worst, i bought half grill it was very hard to eat, waste of money. Don't choose this hotel ever.

We have ordered panner fried rice tonight for kids but what we have received a spoiled panner as the taste was very bitter in Taste and bad in smell very Harder to bite We came to know that from the kitchen staffs the panner was not maintained in the required temperature in the chiller so it got spoiled but knowingly they have cooked the food and severed to us with out any common sense Heartless people and only money minded no business ethics to follow Very very stupid and worst quality of panner Never ever visited the restaurant with your family especially with kids Be aware with this restaurant

Food is amazing and very traditional way of cooking and taste. Manpower is less that affects delay in getting food on time to our table. That's the reason am giving 4 stars for this.

Poor food ,high pricing. Even by 12pm for the first order food is not hot.. I strongly advise people not to go there to eat . Waste of time waste of money... Poor toilets and hand wash area.. But the hospitality was good by the service team...

The hotel lost all its former glory. They don't have all the items in menu. Even your nearby area fast food shop will offer more variety with more quality.
