Biryani
is
kind
of
a
weakness
for
me...so
when
i
hear
about
good
biryani
joints
i
make
sure
i
visit
those
place
ASAP...
Arabian
kebab
centre
located
near
the
kodambakkam
railway
station
is
one
such
place..
Had
constantly
been
seeing
some
some
good
reviews
about
this
place...
Be
it
the
biryani
or
the
tandoori
and
grill
items...so
couple
of
weeks
back
i
made
a
plan
to
visit
the
place
and
try
it
for
myself..
This
outlet
is
located
in
the
station
view
road
right
at
the
end
of
the
street
when
you
come
from
kodambakkam
railway
station..
Or
from
the
main
road
you
need
to
take
the
road
adjacent
to
the
old
sekar
emporium
near
liberty...its
the
first
shop
on
the
first
right..
Easily
identifiable
thanks
to
the
huge
crowd
during
meal
times...Parking
is
roadside
and
is
often
a
problem
for
cars...bikes
can
be
squeezed
in...
This
is
a
quick
dine
in
kind
of
an
eatery...with
no
place
to
sit...just
planks
on
the
wall
to
stand
and
eat...The
place
itself
is
like
a
alley
with
biryani,
shawarama
and
grill
counter
upfront..Followed
by
the
billing
counter...and
inside
a
big
glassed
wall
to
reveal
the
kitchen
with
countless
amount
of
uncooked
tandoori
items
on
display..
A
view
of
that
itself
is
enough
for
foodies
like
me...i
visited
the
outlet
twice..
Once
for
lunch
and
once
for
dinner
and
both
the
times
it
was
crowded
which
reduced
as
time
passed...
There
is
nothing
to
talk
about
service...just
order
the
items
you
need...
Pay
for
it
and
get
the
bill...
Hand
it
over
to
the
concerned
person
and
the
items
are
served
in
no
time..
Pretty
quick
i
must
say...
I
visited
twice
as
to
try
as
many
varities
as
possible...
So
i
ordered
plain
biryani
and
chicken
65
on
one
visit
and
a
shawarama
and
a
chicken
kali
mirchi
kebab
on
another...
Plain
Biryani
(rs60)
:
Not
as
great
as
expected
but
definitely
could
be
rated
as
one
of
the
better
ones..
Chicken
65
(rs80)
:
Well
Marinated
and
well
cooked
spicy
chicken
pieces..
Tasted
really
awesome..
Shawarama
(rs50)
:
This
definitely
could
be
one
of
the
best
shawaramas
I
have
had
in
chennai...
Really
juicy,
fresh
and
well
made...
Good
filling
too..
Kali
mirchi
Kebab
(rs100)
:
True
to
its
name
was
spicy
as
hell...
But
spot
on
taste
and
perfectly
cooked
except
for
one
piece...
The
raitas
and
chutney
served
as
accompaniments
too
very
good...
Especially
the
brinjal
chutney...
Spot
on..
Pricing
is
very
economical..
Quantity
is
good...service
quick
and
prompt..
Ambiance
might
be
a
downer
for
a
lot
of
people...
Definitely
a
must
visit
outlet
in
chennai...
Atleast
once...
Tandoori
and
shawarama
a
must
try...
