Good to have but not the best... Got chance to taste their chicken biriyani and reshmi kebab... Once again those are good to have but not the best... A budget fastfood style restaurant for the fast runner...

A unique taste biryani with very less oil, budget Friendly centre with no seating . Just standing capacity of 20 to 25 people . Lunch time ,it's heavy rush. Kebabs , shawarma, chicken 65 , Mutton biriyani.. A delight to your taste buds . Try this hotel if you visit kodambakkam . No car parking , 3 to 4 bikes can be parked .

Biryani is kind of a weakness for me...so when i hear about good biryani joints i make sure i visit those place ASAP... Arabian kebab centre located near the kodambakkam railway station is one such place.. Had constantly been seeing some some good reviews about this place... Be it the biryani or the tandoori and grill items...so couple of weeks back i made a plan to visit the place and try it for myself.. This outlet is located in the station view road right at the end of the street when you come from kodambakkam railway station.. Or from the main road you need to take the road adjacent to the old sekar emporium near liberty...its the first shop on the first right.. Easily identifiable thanks to the huge crowd during meal times...Parking is roadside and is often a problem for cars...bikes can be squeezed in... This is a quick dine in kind of an eatery...with no place to sit...just planks on the wall to stand and eat...The place itself is like a alley with biryani, shawarama and grill counter upfront..Followed by the billing counter...and inside a big glassed wall to reveal the kitchen with countless amount of uncooked tandoori items on display.. A view of that itself is enough for foodies like me...i visited the outlet twice.. Once for lunch and once for dinner and both the times it was crowded which reduced as time passed... There is nothing to talk about service...just order the items you need... Pay for it and get the bill... Hand it over to the concerned person and the items are served in no time.. Pretty quick i must say... I visited twice as to try as many varities as possible... So i ordered plain biryani and chicken 65 on one visit and a shawarama and a chicken kali mirchi kebab on another... Plain Biryani (rs60) : Not as great as expected but definitely could be rated as one of the better ones.. Chicken 65 (rs80) : Well Marinated and well cooked spicy chicken pieces.. Tasted really awesome.. Shawarama (rs50) : This definitely could be one of the best shawaramas I have had in chennai... Really juicy, fresh and well made... Good filling too.. Kali mirchi Kebab (rs100) : True to its name was spicy as hell... But spot on taste and perfectly cooked except for one piece... The raitas and chutney served as accompaniments too very good... Especially the brinjal chutney... Spot on.. Pricing is very economical.. Quantity is good...service quick and prompt.. Ambiance might be a downer for a lot of people... Definitely a must visit outlet in chennai... Atleast once... Tandoori and shawarama a must try...

Arabian kebab centre is one of the best biryani place in Chennai. The price is affordable and reasonable. Quality and quantity of the biryani is perfect for the price they charge. They do not have any seats to dine but one can stand and eat at the stone table inside the hotel which can accommodate around 15 people at a time. Chicken Biryani - 110. Mutton - 170. Grill chicken - Quarter -100/ Full - 300 Shawarma roll - 60. Platter - 80. They have wide spread of kebabs too but they're known for their biryani and the humongous amount of mayonnaise they simply give with everything which is actually good. If you're looking for some good birayni at cheap price you can choose Arabian kebab without any second thoughts. Cheers and Enjoy ! :)

Good for kebabs, grill, shawarma and biriyani. Very affordably priced, usually crowded. Biriyani is not that great, but still decent enough. Serving portion in shawarma and biriyani is just sufficient or slightly less. A good place for regular visits overall. Gravy items were too oily..

My most favorite and budget biriyani in this place . You can get a mutton biriyani and chicken biriyani in lunch time and evening you can get shawarma tandoori chicken mutton biriyani and chicken biriyani too From my experience, after Yaa Mohideen , SS Hyderabad, this is my favorite shop when ever I visit kodambakam . Usually I simple not even touch the brinjal gravy , but here that taste is sooo good . You must try that ... For the dessert part , they are selling bread halwa , it's just 50 rupees . Atkeast two ppl can share and that is super sweet of bread with ghee nuts. Very small shop but get on time for mutton bcos that is the fast moving dish over there

Very crowded place in evening time. I love their grill and shwarma was average. Biriyani was not worth it. I really don't know every day biriyani was like that or not. But that day it was very bad. Disappointed with their biriyani. Briyani price was increased now 130

Recently bought mutton and chicken biryani after seeing lot of Google reviews but the taste of the biriyani was flavouless and there was no aroma flavour I don't know how Google shows 4.3 rating for this shop. I think some promoters are doing such job to promote a shop... really got disappointed. Kindly try SS biriyani or J and J which are located near to this area.

One of the best Biriyani I have had in Chennai. The taste and variety is so good and clean. For takeaway the shop is best to buy. For dining it is merely like a buffet. No chairs to sit on. But the product's taste is worth having.

This place has a very budget friendly dishes. Compared to any other mid-sized restaurants this place can be a best option for a people who want a better tasting kebabs, gravy and rotis at a budget friendly price. My favourite is grill chicken, rotis and any gravy is good there.🤤

One of the lovely places for all categories of people who loves non veg - yummy and delicious food. I visited almost twice a month for shawarma and briyani along with grilled chicken. Most the time i have even taken parcels which are clean and hygienic.

Visited chennai for a VAC appointment, I've known this place via Youtube & Instagram. So, I've decided to try their famous biryani and Chicken 65. The taste was top notch keeping in mind of what you pay. A thumbs up for management. The only con is they don't have a proper seating place rest everything's great!

One of the best biryani I've ever tasted in Chennai. They don't have parking and they do not have seating. You can stand and eat but i would personally suggest you takeaway.

Dont expect great atmosphere, u get good food at a decent price. Take away is the best thing. While the so called established Biriyani centers charge huge, here u get good biriyani especially mutton was good which i liked most.

It's not even a typical Kari dosa. I don't really know if they had tried Kari dosa in Madurai. Their Kari dosa was just a dosa as base and egg, tomato, onions, chicken and masala as the toppings. Instead, they could have named it as Dosa Pizza or Dosa with some toppings. 🤣🤣🤣 Don't go for it.

Food is good. Do try Grilled chicken and Tangadi Kebab. Biriyani was good too. Wouldn’t recommend shawarma though, too much mayonnaise. Dine in is not that great, do prefer a take out. On a side note, I wouldn’t recommend mayonnaise for Indian or any food, it’s too bland that it brings down the flavor. Mayonnaise doesn’t have a place in the land of Chicken 65, Chettinad food and Kari Dosa. #SayNoToMayonnaise.
