Visiting this place for more than 2 decades now. The calmness I get visiting the temple hasn't dropped even a bit. Saturday poojas are one of the highlights of the place. People from various part of the city comes here for Saturday Pooja. One of the best time of the year to visit the place is during navratri.

Visited Kali Bari during Durga pooja celebrations. Very nice experience, pooja being performed in traditional way. Reached there early evening, very peaceful and calming atmosphere. Maa Kali's idol is simply spell bounding and strength giving.

Very nice place, we can do Pooja here and it's very big in area wise. Only problem is parking. If you have four wheeler it's petty difficult to find a place for parking near the temple. This temple is in very middle of residency area. Also you can see that temple is very much similar design as Kolkata dakhinashawar temple. It's lovely place to visit and do Pooja. Jai maa kali....

The kalibari also celebrates durga puja in a traditional form. In a very narrow place where parking is very difficult. Huge crowd during the puja days. A nice place to visit in normal days for maa kali puja as well

Om ma kali !! The temple is cleanly maintained by ramakrishna trust members. Also several activities keep going on so check their events board if you wanna view them in a nice ambience. Ma kali is very beautiful and its a larger idol of her than i have ever seen anywhere in chennai. I feel so happy seeing her every few months and i also love the cleaniness and the way the trust members keep it organised.

Went there at the time of Durga Puja, one of the few organized by the Bengali community in Chennai, it was a very homely environment and definitely enjoyed the experience of being able to be witness to the aarti being performed, and was able to give Anjali. Had bhog there, pukka bangali food far far away from home. Overall a very good place to be specially at the Oct - Nov festive season.
