This is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu in the form of Sowmya Damodara Perumal. It is a very well maintained temple. When you enter you can still feel the ancient vibes. The temple is open from 6.30am to 11.30am in the morning and 5pm to 8.30pm in the evening. The entrance to the temple is quite narrow and parking for four wheelers might be an issue on festive days. There are various shops around the temple selling Pooja items, flowers and vegetables.

It is a really peaceful place. It is an ancient and powerful temple and part of 108 divya desam. During vaikunda ekadasi, the sorkka vassal is opened for all to visit.

This is a old temple look neat and clean. Whenever i visited this temple some programs take place and looks busy. Nice place I always like to visit this temple whenever I pass by this area.

Arulmigu Perumal Temple is located just 300 mtrs from Villivakkam bus depot. It is one of the oldest temple. Here you can find many Gods and Goddesses too. Marriages can also be done inside the temple with prior permission. It is open on all days. It closes at 9 pm. A very good temple to visit.

Beautiful old temple. Located close to Villivakkam bus depot and easy access to railway station too. Car parking is little tough since most of the street vendors and shops has parked their vehicles in front of temple but you can manage to park if you go early morning and early evening darshan.

Good maintenance

Beautiful temple of Perumal with name Damodara (Krishna, along Rukhmini and Satyabhama). I went there on Deepavali day. The temple is filled with devotees and also there is a procession of Utsava vigrahas in the evening. Easy to reach there as it is very close to Villavakkam Bus depot.

Lord Vishnu temple is this. Located next to Villivakkam bus depot. Accessible to all over chennai city. You organize engagement and marriage function here. 2 Wheeler parking available here but no parking facility for cars. Next to temple one madabham available.

Awesome temple of lord Damodara Perumal located near villivakam. This is one of main temple of Perumal or Govinda, there is anadhanam every day. This temple is located near to the villivakam bus stand.

Situated near Villivakkam Bus Stand, 700 years old years. Very few temples in Tamilnadu are Lord Krishna, even though it is a Perumal Temple, the name Damodharan is referred to Lord Krishna. One of my close to my heart Temple. I love going to this Temple, particularly in Evenings.

Temple can be maintained better, no better parking space, outside of the temple you can see lot of Cattles and their dungs on the entrance blocking way gives you some irritating feeling.

Very Big Perumal Temple in the main area of Villivakkam. Nice calm location. We can sit and meditate. Big pond near the temple. Located in between Villivakkam Railyway station and Villivakkam Bus depot Walk-able distance from Villivakkam Railyway station and Villivakkam Bus depot. Saturday usually very much crowded. No proper parking facilities, car no chance, bike can be parked opposite street in the temple. No proper slipper stand, you can leave wherever you wish.
