One of the best and biggest hospital and medical college campus in Chennai and India. Well maintained, neat and clean and manage the campus well with required resources. Campus covered with parks and good amount of trees, huge parking lot, canteens and temple. It has both OP ward, emergency ward and paid executive medical service. In addition, this hospital has basic general service with low cost in another side where you can examine for all medical issues. It has Ortho and physio medical center and separate block for dental as well - good service with better cost. You can avail health check up package as well in this hospital. Good facilities and service

This is the worst management I have ever seen. First thing they don't care about patients who came for OP in this block. The doctor consultation itself takes a lot of time and if they suggest some scans/x-ray you have to go to pay in one counter then give it to another counter and it will take a minimum of 2 hrs. The funny thing is that they won't in their relatives who came along with the patients. The doctors are not punctual, they just simply write the tests and just leave and they won't appear after we bring test results. Some other doctor will be there at that time. At least the other doctor doesn't listen to the patients problems, they just leave the cabin even though the patients are there, by checking their phone I mean just for a general consultation, will it take 9 to 4? I just hate this management and doctors here for not being responsible.

I recently admitted my wife for a treatment and was little disappointed with the new Management (as i am comparing the days when i used to come to this hospital - 25 years ago) Plus; -Canteen and its food Offered -Spacious Parking -Insurance Staff (front liners - Exceptional Knowledge and accuracy) -Overall Maintenance Minus; -Nurses (Most of them are exhausted, underpaid, tired and not passionate hence the results are shown clearly. -I was mentioned that my Insurance has been cleared and my spouse was discharged. Post 2 weeks i was mentioned from the Hospital that my balance amount cannot be refunded as Insurance has revised my Insurance amount (Fishy !! isn't it ? Discharged and don't want to give my advance - Please don't pay too much advance if you have Insurance covered. -Not able to track the nerves for almost 11 times (in spite of advanced equipment's available in the market, not able to put the spine Injection even after 4 Attempts) - Not sure many will highlight this however i feel its to do with lack of inexperienced field team - Place for the trainers to get trained with real patients :(

The Hospital is huge and fully crowded with people everywhere. The facility and doctor are enormous. Pros:- The parking is free for both Bike and car. The signage boards are available at all the junction. The snack shop is at the entrance and feasible. Cons :- The parking area is far from the block. The registration fee of Rs 50 is annoying for every individual. Overall Rating : Service - 3/5 Ambiance - 3/5 Timing. - 3/5 Rates. - 3/5

Breast Cancer Surgery to my MOM done by Dr. GOUTHAMAN S and his team. I will forever be grateful to them. My Mom got another fresh lease on life because they helped me. The nurses who took care of my Mom became family so quickly. I am grateful to nurses. All staffs are very polite. I am very happy to recommend Sri Ramachandra Hospital to anyone seeking health attention and recovery due to its world-class standard care.

I had a very bad experience in ramachandra hospital which is in porur. My mother got admitted there for emergency. They Didnot give any proper treatment and doctors are very money minded and rude. Nothing they have done and we paid 20000 for one day. First They told me 80000 for hand operation and they changed their mind and asked 1.5 laks which we cant manage immediatly and we asked g block which we have liverage in amount in fees but the cheif doctore ignored us and said there is no bed for u and u need collector sign and all and said better discharge and go.. only money minded doctors but can see most of students are chatting in icu ward like they think they are in canteen. That hospital remembered me vijayakanth movie hospital scene.

Worst ever management I ever seen in my life. My mother in law has been admitted for bone fracture they took literally 4 hours to admit due to mandatory procedures and took further 2 hours to start the treatment. Some management staffs are very rude and they aren’t not understanding our pain. The most pathetic thing is we have to pay more for emergency treatment. People, please don’t go for the sake of hospital name they all are money minded and most importantly not taking care of our loved ones.

I met with an bike accident and had two major brain surgery in emergency block. I thank Dr.Ganesh (neurologist) and team who saved me. Hospitality is extremely good, completely clean and every working individuals do their duty perfectly. But, the cost is quite high compared to other hospitals. Other than, everything is extremely good.

G block pros - Knowledgable doctors & proper treatment is given cons - Poor Hospital Management 1) If patient is admitted in ICU, they will not inform anything to attenders. When you ask ICU doctors he will simply see the phone and neglect us. 2) They follows credit system. So for single blood test, scan or medicine you need to pay then they will do the things. For that you need to walk 20 times per day. That too in very crowd area. 3) They will ask to give only inside food to patient but they will forgot to give. By 10pm they will call and inform that we forgot the food can you get it from outside. 4) No visitors allowed, only one attender allowed. Very strange behaviour. 5) Poor billing system. They will use some code words for medicine & test. We are not sure about the type of test.

I'll give 5 STARS FOR DOCTORS AND THEIR SERVICES. 2 STARS is for the pharmacy services. One of the worst pharmacies ever seen!! Such confused staff and extremely slow service. I waited 20 min for two medicines and they didn't have one brand so they cancelled and put another brand in its place. I wanted to cancel that brand because I could get the brand which doctor prescribed near my house. How much confusion they made for that!! They generated 3 bills unnecessarily and they themselves got confused which is the original bill. I was supposed to receive approx 80 RS as refund and they were going to send me back with just 20. It may not be a big amount but how much confusion they did and how long they took to rectify the issue!! What if they had done this with a bigger amount?

My mother was in a lot of trouble when she was treated there. None of the staff working there is good, the hospital is only looking for money. They are treating me with inexperienced nurses. The doctors who talk to my mother about the disease are very scary. The doctors who tell my mother about the disease without giving any explanation to the relative who came with her. If they treat one disease, they cause many diseases.

I Never ever faced these kind of worst service in the hospitality industry. I was there for five days. 1. Not sanitized properly and PPE kid was not used properly 2. Lac of communication gap between the ward supervisors, at the end Patient should suffer. 3. All are money minded and ther is no hospitality.

Admission process is very slow, if patient is in critical condition don't go to this hospital, they are taking 2 hours of time for admission itself, meantime patient may die. Also do not go to hospital if you have COVID symptoms...they will not concentrate patient until RTPCR result, if result is positive, you may have search for other hospital. Also you may feel discomfort in security behaviour, billing, pharmacy etc, security will give respect to only to richer people, poor people are treated like dog...not sure hospital higher officials aware of this are not...if any higher officials in hospital read this comment, please take necessary action..

Very Expensive for hospitalization... I have admitted my wife for delivery.. they did cesarean and charged 1.19 lakhs(only for mother)...5 calendar days stay in 2sharing room.. baby billings was separate and additional from day 1... 6days charged 80k including 2days ICU for jaundice... Who ever can afford to pay... can get in to this hospital... otherwise look for other options.. I also found wrong billing... they use template for medicine bills... whether they have used it or not... i asked for the clarification.. but the response was poor... If you see the final bill... you will ask lot of questions... they will answer... but you will never convinced... still you have to pay in full.. Overall I had bad experience.... one good thing is canteen.. Food is better than expected..

Except Dr. Srinath and nurse Rajeshwari in 5th floor G-Block oncology ward, all others were very kind & polite to the patient as well as attenders, these two people's were not respecting the elderly patients and attenders, showing their attitude towards all.. and coming to management they're not at all providing a place to sit for attenders of ICU ward patients, all these attenders were sitting outside the building and currently it's a winter season due to that heavy snow my brother got fever and cold due to sitting on outside the building, since there are enough space inside the entire building and only one attender is allowed per patient so they can easily provide a place to stay for attenders but they're not providing. Attenders were coming to hospital only to take care of patient, if the attender itself got sick due this heavy snow means who will take care of both patient and attender? Even I raised this concern to admin office, there is one lady simply saying, this rule common for all ICU ward attenders and also she mentioned that "during flood time few pregnant ladies also stayed outside only" It means they don't even worry if the attenders die due to worse environment condition, and they converting the attenders as a new patient and looting money, very worst kind of management, restrooms were not in clean condition and all the toilet flush tanks were collecting water slowly, all valves were broken, continuously leaking tap, poor maintenance. Next coming to canteen food they collect more money for food eg. Two Chapathis they cost it for RS.45 and it's not at all cooked fully. Another important thing is ICU ward rent it's about 2000 rupees per day, they will not calculate based on hourly basis for a day example if the patient moved to ICU ward by today evening 6:00PM and again shifted from ICU to general ward by next day 6:00PM means they will not consider this 24 hours as one day and they will charge it for 2 days, which means they're saying before 12:00AM will be one day. And finally the securities, they all looking the attenders as a criminal, even if you have attender pass with your hand they enquire like an police officer without a respect, after answering too many questions only they will allow you inside, they thinks they're the boss of this hospital..in this one week I have raised many complaints and I never seen this kind of worse experience in any hospital. I mistakenly admitted my dad in this hospital, please don't come here I'm saying it from my personal experience...

The plastic surgery department doctors and staffs sucks. Especially Dr. Satish has no empathy towards patients.. giving five stars for the sake of considering the review on time line. when my seven year old kid spilled hot water on her chest, we took her to the emergency ward, they simply forced has to get admitted for 15%of secondary burn.. asked to undergo COVID test for admission. Myself and my husband both are medicos, so we know our daughter condition to an extent and refused to get admitted and asked for dressing the wound. For that they made us to wait for 3hrs till plastic surgeon visit ,the doctor just saw two minutes and asked the nursing pg to give the dressing. The doctor didn't even prescribed any medicine like analgesic to relieve the poor kid pain or antibiotics to prevent the secondary infection. After two days when we visited the op for redressing the wound, we was waiting for two hours, Dr Satish was on the op that day, he literally shouted at us and telling painful procedure infront of the kid , that made her frightened to undergo the procedure on sedation. We refused and left the hospital and done the procedure in near by plastic surgeon clinic which takes literally 15minutes without any anaesthesia. Thank God my daughter is completely alright but still I can't come out from the mental trauma they gave us.

Positives: # Bed charge per day is 200 #Always the patient will be monitored #very less attender with patient so hospital area is clean #students and doctors are friendly Negative: #Usually they prescribe medicine daily # the cost of medicine will go high when you are admitted here #as usual nurses are rude #like every medical College, you will be practiced by medical students. #if you have any different, unique and special and rare problems don't come here. They will learn how to cure from you #General and well-known disease, they will know how to cure

Don’t do any test here !!! If their doctors don’t listen to your problems properly. They are so careless and don’t listen to the patients completely at all. If this happens to you and if they ask you to do any expensive tests without even checking you physically. JUST LEAVE and go to a good hospital OR Clinic where doctors are doctors and not professors. Time wasted and they made me waste money as well. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. If you don’t care about your health, then you can do all the expensive tests and they will provide no proper medications or treatment. And you won’t get well from visiting this type of doctors.

Worst hospital management, money minded and worst expierence I admitted my 1 year old son for seizure. At emergency room all gone well, after admission the worst has started. Next day My father want to see my son how is doing. i go to the helpdesk to allow him atleast for 5 min. But the old lady has spoke to me rudely and spoke blah blah blah . i m differently abled person she didn't have the heart to speak politely. When I go to 3rd floor to talk with FO (A3) she didn't let me talk, she warn me that she cancel my pass if i misuse. The next day group of 5 people entering into special ward with visitor pass to visit a patient. I don't know what to say. When we ask about this the FO didn't respond or about this We went for insurance to cover our bills. On discharge date they delay the claim process by 9 hours. My wife lost her patience and told them we pay the amount full. They again tell they can't promise for reimbursement, after long argument they agree for reimbursement There is a saying. You will be sad when entering into hospital, but you'll be happy when you come out. But our both entering and exit we are stressed and unhappy There are good thing Nurses, house keeping, catering, dietician, security are treated us well.

Very bad experience. Doctor with out attending the patient, he went for zoom meeting. We have waited close to 3 hours because of this. While we question this, Junior doctor simply told us to do echo test, so that we don't feel like we are waiting for the doctor. After we came back with the echo report.. They informed doctor went for break.. He took another 1 hour break..To see a cardiac senior consultant it took 7 hours.. In this hospital..

Its a money minded hospital with no proper care for patients. Only the students attend to out patients ( what will they know. They should only observe )without guidance from the faculty. The management staffs, the doctors and the nurses are very rude. GH is much better than this hospital . Even Mukesh Ambani will become a middle class man if he gets treatment from this place.

Based on my several visits on various occasions the hospital is highly professional and ethical. Not very much focus on profiteering. The Doctors are highly professional, and not complicated. This is my personal experience. I went to emergency admission on three occasions and was highly satisfied with their approach. Even the restaurant is good having multiple choices of cousins.

Personally, had a very bad experience with their Gynecology department. Poor hospitality. Long waiting hours with minimal consultation time(no proper guidance or information given on our visit) , money wasted. Dr. Rajeswari. K. S. specifically has no ethics nor tackle patients properly. Worst experience ever. Would never recommend anybody here for future reference.

We got our First dose of covid-19 vaccine here. Finding the block where the vaccination was being administered was difficult ( the place is huge!) . Once we got to the right block , we completed billing which took a bit of time. After billing , we were directed to the building where the vaccine was being administered. There were many booths for vaccination , hence the process was quick. The nurses were extremely friendly and gave us tips on what to follow after vaccination ( plenty of rest, no alcohol , immunity boosting foods etc) Even though there was a crowd for the vaccination , the staff managed everything very well. Overall a good experience!

My wife was admitted to your hospital for some reasons, and you only permit one attendant. We accept this as your policy, but your office staff (lift operator, staff nurses, etc.) treats us all poorly and in an unethical manner towards the attendant. I have some concerns regarding your management; I am aware that there are rules in place, but they also prioritise your staff over patients. As an example, the G block includes several lifts, each of which is allocated for either patients or workers. Staff are allowed at the patient and visitor lift locations, however they are not allowed in the staff lift because the lift operator should be operating it in this way. I don't know if you know about it ,please consider it

For my baby 3 years old admitted for circumscion surgery. Doctors and nurses are little rude against the patient. Treatment are same comparitive to private block and this G Block. Some doctors and nurses are friendly. Those who doesn't have money can go here, but respect cannot expect. Other than this everything is ok. Management has to concentrate on their staffs and educate how to treat their patients. Already patients doesn't have money and came to the hospital at final hope for their wellness.

One of the worst hospitals in chenai. No senior Doctors, all are trainees. My brother fell from bike and had fracture in his arm. We took him here since it was the nearest. For about 3 hours no care was given to him.and surgery also was done after 3 days to fix him arm, reason they gave is this is normal fracture and no need to take immediate action. Besides they won't allow visitors even in visiting hours, security people were very rude and they behave as if they are from FBI. Room also they charges 6000 per day for a mediocre facility...very sma and very old disgusting room All they do is such thr money and treat worse But I highly recommend this hospital canteen. Food is really good at reasonable price. If you are nearby, don't waste your money in hotel, visit this hospital instead, just not for treatment

The MOST Worst hospital in chennai . no justice was done to our family member. pls dont go admit your loved ones and lose. we admitted our father and no proper treatment were done, he was in room called ICU just by name, basics like his urine bedsheets were not cleaned, nurses were not around he needed them. like this many to mention. Daily new tests were taken and the result would be negative. we admitted him for fever and low sodium levels than that he had no other complaints wen we admitted him. it was literally we put him in danger zone admitting there. They just killed him i would say. Makkale Pls Pls be aware of this Dangerous Hospital

2 stars because it is nearby home and hence for convenience. Everything else needs loads of improvement! Service - one of the worst I’ve seen in today’s modern hospitals. They really need to revamp and retrain the staff to meet today’s expectations. After all, we’re paying loads in visiting a private hospital only for the service element! Treatment - yes, treatment. Whoever got treatment is doing fine. Nothing great to mention about the doctors or the nurses or even the treatment. Just treatment. Money - well, it’s insurance these days. But wait… do they even process the insurance properly? Out of a few cases in my family, some were processed on time, but in some cases they don’t respond properly to the queries posed by the tpa and so we have to pay money and get discharged. The staff even come to you and tell you it is better to pay money and leave instead of waiting for insurance clearance, while in fact the tpa is waiting on more answers from the hospital, which in fact the hospital denies when asked! Ambulance service - we used it once and it was okay. Again, it’s money money money.. they need the money as soon as the patient is taken to the hospital, so do we look after the patient in this emergency or do we run around paying bills? But I guess this is the same everywhere, and not particular to this hospital. Food - the food for patients and caretakers are okay I think. The canteen has a variety of options too. However, the food delivery to the rooms can get sloppy at times, mostly because the staff are all North Indians who cannot speak the local language or English. Their manager however is a local who can speak tamil. Overall, srmc needs to step up their game as there are plenty of medical care centres that are more customer centric these days!

No knowledgeable otherwise ignorant doctors my 1.3 yrs Kid fallen down from cot in home and continuously cried , taken to emergency at night explained that he is not able lift his hands above . In emergency asked some doctor checked with some doctor then asked to take CT brain with x-ray again they changed for two CT scan to be taken instead of brain CT After kid is not cooperative for the CT scan asked to take only X-ray , three doctors checked the xray said no cracks in bones asked to visit OP for tomorrow then next day morning we visited again in udayar block OP , Dr subba rao he just took again the xray and told nothing to worry since no cracks observed in the xray . give paracetamol for pain and give ice he will recover in days A day after, the kid was not able to lift his hand and cand his shoulder near got swell . When we went again to the hospital for the third time , a doctor was appointed after seeing his swell the doctor took again both the X-ray and saying there is crack which is visible in both the two x-rays taken . I asked why the three doctors were not able to identify he given me a marvellous reply that those doctors would have been suspected only the chest region so he advised to see ortho doctor .now we are waiting to see him pathetic and worryful experience

    1. Very rude 2. Never share the exact report 3. Money minded 4. Advice to take unwanted scan., 5. Be careful when handling Billing Counter - at the end of the day they try to add extra bills if you not check properly they could charge you more

Sri Ramachandra Medical Center in Chennai is a world-class medical facility, offering a wide range of medical services and treatments. The hospital's infrastructure is modern, with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, making it one of the best hospitals in the city. The staff’s are highly qualified, professional, and dedicated, providing excellent medical care and services to patients. The cleanliness and hygiene standards are also high, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients. Well maintained, neat and clean and manage the campus well with required resources. Campus covered with parks and good amount of trees, huge parking lot, canteens and temple It has both OP ward, emergency ward and paid executive medical service. In addition, this hospital has basic general service with low cost in another side where you can examine for all medical issues. It has Ortho and physio medical center and separate block for dental as well - good service with better cost. You can avail health check up package as well in this hospital. Good facilities and service The location is convenient, with easy access to transportation and other amenities. Overall, a great hospital for anyone seeking medical treatment in Chennai.

One of the worst hospital in Chennai for Child development department KCDU. decided to not go to this hospital anymore. Very irresponsible and irrespective people. Not maintaining correct timing and even not responsible for their commitment. Money waste and time waste for my child's development assessment. Had a very very worst experience. They only prioritized the people who have lot more money and came with high level reference. Every one paying money to them, But not treating everyone same.money minded people. Even I got the appointment after 1 month only after shouted them. Child trust hospital is best comparing with this hospital.

Dr Sundar, Neurologist has no professionalism in the way he addresses patients. Instead of being positive and showing ways of dealing with the next steps of treatment in a positive way, he has no respect for his patients and makes them feel hopeless about their situation. Even medication prescribed will be extreme and heavy dosage, his attitude for a professional doctor is in the drains and it looks like he doesn't enjoy his work or he thinks all his patients are psychos and he has the tendency to not let you talk at all.

Quality treatment at affordable cost. You will spend only on medicines, scans and equipments. There is no consultation charges in G block as diagnosis is done by UG/PG medical collage students and being supervised by senior doctors. New registration costs β‚Ή50 and re registration charges of RS 10 on every subsequent visits.

Will write complete review with details soon. It's just a business center to exploit money, using medical terms and quick admission even without giving few hours to process nor get an second opinion. None is responding to refund amount too.

Staffs are polite. The ones sitting at the master health checkup should be in a position to recommend checkup packages according to patient's requirement. Nurse Alamelu at the reception who listens to the complaints and recommends doctors is doing a great job. Doctor Sundar at the neuro department has a unique approach towards the patients but can be little kind.

A nightmare experience while I admitted my mom in Porur Ramachandra. I was so in high hope while I brought my mom for chemotherapy treatment. Due to some other illness during her chemotherapy I had to admit my mom in emergency ward. I wouldn't say its an emergency ward, its a ruthless ward where you can find bunch of doctors, sisters and healthcare workers who don't care about patients or their family members. No one was receptive or cared about us. They didn't treat my mom for covid as they had closed their covid ward. after that, almost for 5 hours she was not given any treatment, the time they asked my mom to shift from this hospital was 1 o clock during midnight. I could not find any hospitals or bed for her. by 5 o clock only I got a bed for my mom. she was battling for her life. no one was worried about that in that hospital. PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY; YOU CAN EARN MONEY LATER, BUT THEY WILL TAKE YOUR LIVES TOO.

covaxin govt approved price was 1410. But these cheaters charge 1510, stating extra charges for registration. Why the hell i need to register myself for getting vaccine. It is already registed through cowin. Is it not enough?

For admission in emergency it took 2 and half hours. Mean while person will die. Toomuch effect to my mother. The person working in admission is telling what i can do.... Emergency means very difficult. It may be suggested first allot the room , start treatment and do the formalities.

Worst hospital in chennai.Staffs are very arrogant Treatment is worst than government hospital. If go there they will force you to admit as in patient even though you are well. Cost is very very high compare to Apollo ..Apollo treatment is 100 times better than Ramachandra.

Never be here on Sundays, the out patient ward (OP) ward will send you to (IP) in patient and the in patient ward will send you to OP. Until you reach to the doctor you have to face multiple nurse and watchman's asking you what happened.. half of the staff is on leave and no one will direct you where to go.. came here at 8 o clock morning for just a stomach pain and it's 12pm still nothing has done yet.. in 4 hours just travelled 5kms inside the hospital and block to block and paid n number of bills and still waiting for the doctor for ultrasound.. services are worst and they will just throw you to ask them there and that. No one will take any responsibility.. and every single nurse, billing, watchman is rude to the core..
