Arguably the best restaurant to have Delhi style Chole Bhature, Dahi Papdi Chat and Raj Kachori. All these items were filling, mouth watering and sumptuous. Paneer Hilltop was the best to have the softest Tandoori style Paneer served hot. In sweets we must try their Kala Jamun, Rasogolla and Doda Barfi . In all a complete family veg restaurant. Great Gupta, Nice sweets at good price. Renovation work doesn’t look safe and no local staff mostly from northern India, who doesn’t understand what we speak. Good location to pickup some snacks and sweets if you visit friends or family by parking car on side of the road but quite a busy junction though.

We tried in Gupta Bhavan Velachery Good North Indian dishes to try out, also got a variety of dosa's , we tried pav bhaji dosa it was good with a lot of cheese. The starters we tried were good ( quality, quantity and taste) Also there is sweets and savouries available, that too with good varieties One drawback or to keep in mind when you plan to try is car parking. There is car parking but not a proper one. If you have a place to park, then valet parking is available

I'd say that this place is about average for a meal - 3 stars. Their combos aren't very good (2 stars), the a la carte dishes are a better bet (3.5 stars). What knocked off two stars from the review is the fact that there was a mouse running around in the dining area (0 stars). However the service was courteous and prompt.

Went with family on Monday. Nice place to come with family. Only we were there but still took a lot of time. The starters came very late and we had already finished the soup..!! Quality of food was good but pricing was a bit on the higher side..!! The serving personnel was very courteous.

Nice ambience with beautiful decor. Offers wide variety of North Indian snack items and fine dining. Authentic North Indian cuisine available. I tasted Dahi Puri and papri chat with ginger tea. All were delicious. Reasonably priced . Overall had a nice experience.

Atmosphere, ambiance and Customer Services are very good. Price is little higher than other usual restaurants/chaat shops, but it's worth spending here because the taste is good, maintaining cleanliness and freshly prepared food in front of us by wearing gloves. Food is very tasty and the cost is regular like a normal restaurant. But the quantity of the food is very very less. Only a kid can make their tummy full 😌 I ordered 2 fried rice per head to feel full and one bowl costing around 190-230rs. Kindly increase the quantity 🫡 I can dine nicely and get fully exhausted by eating all the special dishes from Zaitoon with the same price I spent here. 😌😌

Visited today ordered - soups, fried potatoes, samosa, Tea. Well all are normal tastes and neatness in utensils used is not great. Also in the end with bill along with mouth freshner, totally old and dont know quality is questionable. Just beware.

This is a really nice vegetarian place across the street from the Turaya Hotel on the busy OMR highway. The service could be better but they make up in good food and reasonable prices. I also liked the variety of choices from traditional South Indian to Chinese. The ambiance is nice and pleasing and the place is generally clean. Recommend

I visited the restaurant with my friend for lunch. We arrived there by around 1. But still lunch was not ready there. Whatever dish we chose they were saying not available that too on the Sunday afternoon. Even they said dessert is not available. While we clearly see other tables were getting the dish they have ordered. It seems they are literally showing partiality or specifically being racist or ill treating people who are not rich. So, as there is no option left we then ordered a plain roti and paneer butter masala. But the food was cold. If you go to even a small restaurant they will serve you the hot food. But then we politely requested to heat the food for more than 3 times but it seems no chef in the kitchen has really cared about it. Even the waiters don't know how to retreat the customers. If the restaurant is really busy they could have told us but instead they just brought the cold food again without heating claiming it was heated 👏 carelessness at its peak. We then talked to the manager but he calmly replied I'm in notice period leaving in a few weeks and this issue keeps happening here. Then we talked to the chef and he was not reacting or taking responsibility to make this right. But here it could have been easily resolved with a good apology or even trying something to make the customer feedback valued. It's like Food was just average and not fresh. To top it off, we were not treated with respect. Overall the food , the service and the atmosphere everything was very worse. I never had such a bad experience before. Truly disappointed. Visit this restaurant at your own risk.

Typical authentic taste of Delli Walla "Golgappa's" in Chennai. I have been ordering "paani pori" or call it "puchkas" from Sri Gupta Bhavan, Velachery from the past one week. The taste, quality and hygienically packing was maintained throughout the week. I ensured to test the quality by increasing or decreasing the count but Kudos to the team in sustaining the clients experience. Will also recommend to taste Dahi Poori. For sweet tooth- try Chum Chum !!

No complaints about food. But I would suggest to verify price of item before placing the order. Price of Badam milk was listed as 65 Rs and to my surprise I was charged 76.19 Rs. When I questioned the waiter about the price difference he said it was due to GST and few minutes later said menu card had incorrect price. Spoke to the manager and he said pricing is subjected to change. I agree price can change but why can’t they update menu card when people order based of that?

Okay. Good for Chaat and a quick bite

Special Rakshabandhan ghevar are available here through out the month of August. Well the reason I mention this is because this sweet is rarely sold in southern Indian as it is a very seasonal and region specific sweet. Very North Indian taste to most of the food prepared and I think they do not use any onion and garlic. Jain/pure vegetarians (but not limited to) could try this place out. Place is clean and food is good. I was very impressed by the papadi they gave in the chat. It does not get soggy and yet is soft and crunchy when you bite it. Overall if you are looking for a place to have North Indian food with authentic taste, go for it.

I normally don't give bad ratings, but today I went with my family for dinner at this place and really had a worst experience! Nothing to complaint about the food! But the service here is pathetic. Waited almost 30 minutes to get a seat, then it almost took 1 hour to get the complete order and still few items were missing, infact few items we have cancelled and left the place because it was getting too late! Staffs are not cooperative and fighting with each other. Had done numerous follow-ups to get what we have ordered. Worst customer experience! Not recommended to go on weekends or holidays. Please improve your service for the amount that you are charging for the food!
