Very good, tasty & homely food in chennai. Even many cities in North does not provide such a flavour. Normal thali & special thali both are having their worth. Prices are high for North Indian food in general in the city, nothing unusual.

We enjoy the occasional North Indian Food and decided to spend a special occasion here. Mr. Krishnan, the owner went out of his way to surprise us with a cake! The sweetness of the evening started with the welcome drink, Shikanji. The ambience is rustic and leaves us with a sense of being at a highway dhaba with drawings on the wall, wheels on tables and a front of a volkswagen car for a bill counter. We asked Mr. Krishnan to take over and recommend. For starters we had Gobi pakoda topped with chaat masala which was crispy and yummy. Next came the Paneer tikka, which had the softest paneer topped with an in house masala. This was quite tasty. For The mains, we had tawa mixed paratha, laccha paratha, missi roti and pav bhaji paratha. These were by far the best parathas we had in chennai. Usually parathas leave us feeling heavy and super full, however, these all wheat parathas were just like the homemade ones without the guilt and side effects! The aloo gobi had a little less salt but were quite tasty with the parathas. Service was top notch with Mr. Krishnan overseeing our needs and recommend ing items from the menu and also mentioning how he came up with them. I'd definitely recommend this joint for soft, tasty aeasy on the stomach parathas.

A feel good restaurant which is certainly worth the visit with your family/friends especially if you’re looking out for authentic North Indian cuisine. There is a long story behind this. Ambiance is real good. Staffs are friendly. Your food will get prepared & served hot in 15-20 mins(depends on the item). We had 1. Bhel Poori 2. Paani Poori 3. Samosa 4. Lemon Shikanji 5. Naan 6. Paneer stuffed Paratha All of them exceeded my expectations. Quality was real good & Quantity was filling. Usage of masala was at the right proposition. Try it once. You’ll keep visiting them again & again :)

Food is great. A bit oily but tasted good. Ambience is pleasant and the area is cozy. Recommended place for a vegetarian food eaters. The prices are a bit funny. Raita is exorbitantly priced, parathas as well. Pricing is the decision of the restauranteur's, but is not logical or meaningful for some of the food items. Please be prepared for delay in service. The kitchen is far and located at back side of the building, and it takes time to communicate and get your food to your table.

A simple Dal, Subji and Phulka combo tells me the expertise of the chef's here. It's difficult to make complicated dishes taste good but it's really difficult to make simple dishes taste great. Keep up the good work. I loved Phulka - Dal - Subji combo.

I lived in Delhi for 21 years so I know a fair share about North Indian food. My order was placed on swiggy. First of all, why does your plain naan have ajwain or whatever seeds all over it? Second, for the price I paid for the mushroom paneer gravy, I was expecting more than 4 spoons of curry. The paneer itself was so hard - the exact opposite of what good paneer should be. Lastly, back to the naan, I might as well go chew on my rubber chappals than eat the naan. It was so chewy. Not sure if only swiggy orders get this special treatment but it's hard to imagine this being any different for dine-in. My jaw still hurts from chewing that thing they call "naan". Go spend your money elsewhere. Seriously.

Nice place to spend with family. Food quality was little ok. But the interior is nice. Price is also marginal. But it's hard to find this restaurant.

Aloo Paratha was perfectly made quite filling. It may be my first review that I decided to write here after I spoke to the owner ...i learnt through the conversation that he would have wished for better ambience for customer but rent in such a space is a bit high.. N he is concerned of the price issues at this point never wants to put a burden on customers. Hope and wish you find a help soon. The person who serves good quality food with a great heart concerned and sensing customers wish... Will be taken care in some or other way. Wish you all the best πŸ˜‡

😠 The food was good and the service was great. But I am giving a single star review because of an incident. I witnessed the person who was moping the floors stick his hand into the ingredients containers and eat the food. With the other hand he was still holding the mop which he was holding just a few...
