I love the biryani and mutton leg there. Also full fish fry is tastier. All the recipes and staff response is amazing. Everyone must try the biryani here.

When it comes to authentic South Indian dishes no one can beat Pandia's. We ordered Kari dosai and chicken pagoda. Kari dosai was one of the best I tasted in recent times. The portion size was good. The proportion of meat was also great. When I ordered chicken pagoda I expected a chicken 65 look alike. But they surprised me with their authentic looking chicken pagoda. The meat ratio in pagoda was also pretty decent. Overall, a happy tummy experience.

Food is good.. Barbeque chicken is not available on a Sunday evening. Disappointing. The one who is taking order carries a long face, he doesn't smile and the way he talks is almost rude. Such a main thing for a restaurant. Availability -1 star, That order taker's attitude -1star.

Visited this place based on review on a sunday, may be sunday is not right time in this place as food was bad even the order too, we ordered something but the person who took order delivered something else as ppl over there doesnt know much local language as well less staff on day of our visit. Chicken drumstick doesnt look one which was overcooked as well presentation flaw. Biryani too was just ok.

They are using very old meat for all starters... First I ordered liver fry and that that's worst quality. I returned that and they gave mutton chukka that also same they using old meat. The only good thing is Briyani. Other than this all those not good. Good ambience worst food

Don't ever think of going to this hotel.. Very poor way of treating the peoples.. They don't provide sambar and chatni too for idly, dhosai and that to we have to pay for it if needed.. Too costly..

The ambiance is good. And the taste 😋 I just loved what I ordered. I really had a great meal here the only reason for the four stars is those staffs. They don't allow you to eat peacefully. When I went there, each of the staffs were shouting at another and was taking selfies. People can do whatever they want but I don't think so people can behave like that in their work place.

My first time here, I opted for Veg meals , service was late and gave not so hot meals... Curries tasted good and overall the ambience was fine...they could improve service which is lacking ... My colleagues tried our their chicken biryani and said it was delicious... Pricing is above reasonable... This place is just beside Forum mall and metro @vadapalani.

Chettinad chicken soup was really gud.. Kadai gravy was awesome.. Everyhring was gud except for biriyani.. If u r a chennaite,u will not like the taste of biriyani.. It was very bland..and the food was tasty and not Spicy..

I am a very regular customer of pandias in old washermenpet branch. Excellent taste for past 25 odd years. Especially their biriyani is very unique. But this branch of pandias is a disaster. No taste recemblence . The biryani was blant. Other side dish wer ok but would try here if i want authentic pandias taste. Try the original washermenpet branch near maha Rani theater. It's the best.

Taste was good. But, too overpriced. Dining table hygeine was a question mark there. We could spot dead and living flies here and there. Not sure when they clean the tables. They do not care to clean the table immediately before taking the order or immediately after the customer is done eating. I had to spend most of my time protecting my food from a fly. Overall a very bad experience.

The mutton biriyani taste was worst . The quality of the pandiyas has been reduced . And the receptionist lady was so rude to me ,she was hesitant to even tell the price of the food which was really bad . Not Worth the money

It was very pathetic condition we ordered for one spl chicken gravy for which they gave only 1small chicken piece later while checking the bill we were charged 238 for that when asked for the reason they started arguing. We felt we were cheated we never recommended this restaurant for anyone.

Horrible service and cheat customers. When we take parcel from the hotel, they will not give enough pieces. In a mutton biriyani just will share 2 bones and a piece. If we ask them, they will mention as, we will manage next time. What an irresponsible way to answer a customer.

The biriyani was great and was one of the best biriyani I had from Chennai. Shawarma plate ordered was burnt, blant and was not much eatable. It entirely made a bad experience. The staff was also not very good at serving food to right table

Its one of my favorite resturnat here so we went and ordered briyani , fried rice , chicken lollypop and panner tika. Chicen lollypop was not hot and panner tikka is over burnt can't even able to have one. Aprat from all only fired rice was good and briyani was plain and not spicy

We tried chicken lollipop for starter, chicken briyani l, normal curry and fish meals for main course. Chicken biriyani was good and sertel.Chicken lollipop was very tasty and crispy. Curry and fish meals was too bad...Rice was not properly cooked very raw. Gravies was average and no proper other compliments along with meals. Highly expensive, no proper service. Serving the food too late and waiters were confusing with the orders and missing out to serve. Apart from that ambience was premium and good. Very neat and clean atmosphere. Food was completely expensive and not worth for money.

I ordered briyani, Naan and chicken chettinad. Briyani was awful, it was blant felt like eating jeera rice and it mushy Chicken chettinad was okay taste wise but oil was flowing throughout the bowl The place had bugs and I spend 700 rupees that was way too expensive for the food they were offering. I was glad that I didn't spend anymore money on there.

Came in after a movie at PVR at about 10pm on a weekday since it was just the next building from the mall. The restaurant was relatively empty. We were four of which two were vegetarians. Us vegetarians were a bit skeptical but there were enough vegetarian options. We ordered attukal soup, French onion soup, tandoori half, mushroom tikka, chicken biriyani, Gobi manchurian and 5 chapatis. The French onion soup was the best from the vegetarian side. Didn’t get any super happy vibes from the non-veg folks and the general comment was that all felt a bit bland- a similar vibe was felt with the mushroom tikka as well. The food did miss a punch. However, all four of us, towards the end of the meal did feel our throats coughed up, indicating some possible issue with the oil or so. I had the onus to eat the bread halwa that came with the biriyani and it felt very oily/dalda-iy, definitely not ghee-ey 😅 The spread costed us ₹1538 and luckily no bad day after. The service was mixed- there was a pleasant waiter and then there was an annoying waiter as well who was in a hurry to get the bill, in a hurry to make the payment when a couple of us were clearly still eating! And no, we weren’t close to the closing time- a good 40 minutes before the said 11.30pm. For us, not a place we’d return. Everything was just barely ok, and not worth a revisit.

Neat atmosphere.. but food not appreciable.. ordered chicken pallipalayam .. a favourite and know food and taste.. alas they delivered some thing else ... After that the boy who took order and delivered both went missing... Finally had to waste half of it.. settled bill cursing our fate having me decided on this restaurant.. sad sad... Bad bad ...

I have eaten mutton biriyani today(24-01-18),which is one of the worst biriyani , i have ever ate in my life.Mutton pieces are well cooked, and tasted good, but the rice is clogged and the taste is not good ,and also lots of oil in the bottom.The reason i vent out and rate this as worst because of the price which it is placed at(RS-240+12).It is definitely not worth of that price.You can get delicious biriyanis for that price range.

Hotel is in ground floor. Both 2 and 4 wheeler Parking is available. Biryani was good. Taste was good. And should buy separate gravy for Dosa and bread. I ordered mutton kheema. But it is not available at the time of 7.30 PM. And they suggested some mutton gravy that is not liked by me. Bit disappointed. Located near cmbt bus stand. Ambience is good.

I just visited here eventually with my friend to have a fresh juice..we ordered for two fresh lime juice..it was good but the price was too high that is 95 rupees..so pls consider while you visit this hotel just for have juice.

Very worst in service and pathetic response from the staffs. This has been repeating for the second time that no one is interested in taking order on time and making us to sit idle for more than 10 mins. One advice to the responsible person if any in pandias management, I will never turn up to your restaurant any more as many customers would have already lost by you because of your pathetic service eventhough your food is good.
