As like other things in Chennai, the standard of this cafe keeps going down every year. Food portions have gone down, taste has gone down, but prices have almost doubled in the last few years. For example, quesedilla used to have good amount cheese and stuffing inside with a nice taste. They used to give sour cream too. Now it is bland, not even cooked well. While the ambiance is the same, clientile has become different, loud, even rowdy. Service is not as friendly with waiters (the ones who don't speak tamil), very inanimate and stoic while serving. Not sure why they can't be a bit more lively and at least gesture if not speak. Like I asked some cutlery the guy just went away and then came back with cutlery kept on my table and went away. It's probably the last time I will go.

One of my favourite places in Chennai for catching up with friends :) Coffee and desserts are great and a wonderful place to have breakfast/brunch! My go to is always the Spanish breakfast - I've had it the 3/4 times I've been here!

One of the best cafe in Chennai, has a good decor. A bit on the pricy side but worth going too. Food is good and the decor is very aesthetic. Staffs are kind and the menu range’s from salads to pizza and pasta. They have a good variety of juices too.

On the first floor, you can enjoy shopping at Anokhi; a clothing brand from Jaipur, and there is another chill clothing shop that looks like shops you would find in Daikanyama, as well as a general store on the second floor. The entrance to the cafe is on the second floor, and the cafe is spacious and bright with many windows. The customers seem to be mostly business people and foreigners, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The service provided by the staff is also good. The restrooms are located on the first floor, down an outside staircase, and the view from the outside has a nice resort-like atmosphere. This is a good choice for those who want to spend a leisurely time in a cozy cafe.

Very cosy and calm Ambience restaurant. Also a wide variety of menu options. Food was great for the price. Especially liked the Carbonara as the bacon was yummy. Good place to try out the Brunch options. Valet parking was comfortable. Service was quick and prompt . Better to book table in advance, as the place might get crowded very easily .

Located at a very good point of city. First things of first 1)A little difficult to locate after nearing the cafe by 10-20 metres. (Best to follow google maps) 2)Car parking is only for 5-6 cars maximum. Very tight. 3) Amazing ambience and seating. 4) Well maintained interiors and staff, very presentable and great service as always. 5) Good coffees and cakes available, they have a very proper style of crockery and cutlery etc. 6) Very knowledgeable staff and people make the dishes. Over all a 4.5 star experience. Price can come down considering the quality and then the quantity. Also a sign board on the road to locate after nearing the cafe

The ambience was best. One best cafe in the city. The tastes of the food also was good. But i had a unfair smell in the thai curry which i ordered. Also its not budget friendly. Each dish costs 400 to 700/-

The place and the ambience is amazing ⚡️ I loved the Pasta bolognaise and chicken steak with salad 5/5 for the food. The hotcocolate was okay ish and the cheese cake was also okay ish only :) 3.5/5 for deserts and drinks The price is on the higher end, good for dates :P as the ambience is stunning Parking space is there and literally in the main road, so easy to identify ;)

Probably the most aesthetically pleasing cafe in Chennai. The place has a lovely, laid-back, Bohemian vibe that oozes old world charm and fine taste. Their continental breakfast is excellent, as is the courteousness of their staff. They have a smoking section outside as well (which also appears to be pet friendly) Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to spend some quality time, with great company

I've heard nothing but nice things about this cafe so I wanted to see for myself. First of all, it's a beautiful well maintained property. It shares the compound with other businesses and you can find some interesting jewellery pieces and clothes as well apart from home furnishings. Coming to the cafe, I visited them on a Saturday afternoon and the place was crowded. I had to wait a bit before I got a seat but the wait was fine thanks to the wonderful ambiance. The food was delicious no complaints what so ever. Quick tip, check out their dessert display for additional dessert options instead of just sticking to the menu. Coming to the service, it was very poor. I had a bitter experience with regards to this. I had to request water twice and the third time I had to be super stern about it before I actually got the water. Water is like the first thing they should be serving as soon as the guests sit down. Unfortunately I wasn't served. Pizza was served but the condiments had to be requested. And we were served a orange juice when we ordered a watermelon ginger juice. Compared to the price the service was average. But I ought to give them another shot just for the delicious food. If you're ever in the area, do check em out. Service:3/5 Value for money:3/5 Taste: 4/5 Ambiance:5/4

Amazing ambience and location. The taste of food is also very good. A few dishes such as sweet potato fries can be improved, but overall pretty good. We went on a Saturday evening and the service was a little slow.

Overall the food was so great, we tried the English and American breakfast which is so filling and pancake with syrup is must try. As posted in other reviews we tried the potato basket and the kids loved it. Portion could have been a bit more. But yeah must try place.

Food was Good and the ambience was quite old school. We tried the pasta and cheese burger except burger was very normal and felt like basic sandwich. Starter’s were good and bit costly. Overall it was okish.

**Chamiers Café: Where Culinary Dreams Take Flight! 🍽️✨** In the heart of Chennai's RA Puram, Chamiers Café beckons with a charming British-inspired vintage theme, luring patrons into a whimsical world of delightful flavors. This culinary haven promises an enchanting experience, seamlessly blending chic décor with an eclectic menu. Embarking on a flavorful journey, I savored the Cheddar and Jalapeno waffles – a zesty delight accompanied by a symphony of maple syrup, butter, and ketchup. While the Chicken Double Decker Sandwich and Omelette with Toast were crowd-pleasers, the Choco Chip Pancakes left me yearning for a tad more sweetness. Chamiers Café's beverage lineup, featuring the acclaimed Cold Coffee, Hazelnut Latte, and a refreshing Lime Soda, stole the spotlight. As dessert beckoned, the Blueberry Cheesecake proved to be the perfect sweet finale. Despite the slightly steep prices, the diverse menu, stylish ambiance, and ample parking make this café a culinary escapade worth experiencing. 🚀💖 *"Charm your taste buds at Chamiers – where every bite tells a story!"*

One of the classic cafes in chennai and I can't believe this is the first time I visited. Would 10/10 recommend it for the aesthetic and the food. (Get the potato basket, you will not regret it)

Chamiers is a pretty and cosy cafe in a quiet locality. The place is full of warmth and nice ambience for some good instaworthy pictures. The coffee and sandwiches are amazing and will last for a long conversation with friends. Comfortable seating and cosy lighting add to the mood of relaxation. You can modify your food by speaking to the server. Try their bruschetta which is awesome. Servers are helpful and will give you good recommendations. The place may have a waiting considering it is so popular. It is a nice artsy cafe, with some nice aesthetics. Must try

Ambience is a perfect score. A victorian set up with nice jazz tune in the background. Makes me feel like in Paris for breakfast until I walk I got out of the building 😉. Latte was to a good standard. Unfortunately the waffle was a bit simplistic and the batter was too thick for me. Lacks the crispness in the outside and soft in the inside kind of texture. Necertheless will return and try other offerings in the menu.

A neat and posh ambience you can experience once you entered their compound. We usually visit this place for thei English Breakfadt which will be always served with rich dishes. Their ceaser salad one of their must try dishes. The club sandwich was good too. The dishes which we tried was so good and can go without any hesitation. Coming to their ambience you can feel cozy, posh, and UK styled environment with decently designed tables. Over all a good experience.

Great ambiance, but not so good food. Bruschetta was dry. Had no olive oil. The pita was super dry and hard. The tarts were inedible. The tart pastry was pathetic

Ambience will be the only reason to visit here😑. The food was worst...for the price it doesn't worth it...🙃 Ordered blueberry cheesecake -390 ig - 3/5 Margareeta pizza- 1/5 - 590 something Club sandwich - 3.5/5 - 490 something The only thing that I liked is the sauce they served with the club sandwich and the hash browns. Pros: 1.ambience 2.service Cons: 1.not worth the price👎🏼 2.no hygiene! The water glass wasn't washed. Got the foul smell from it....they literally served the same glass someone already drank water in. disgusting! 3.the tomato in the pizza tasted like they are rotten...I'm pretty much sure it is actually.. 4.i have tasted better pizza and sandwich for less price. 5.for 590 the pizza's quantity could have been better but it's not👎🏼. Totally not worth it ..!

Has a nice ambience. Pasta items are very nice, pizzas are a little disappointing. Food seems overpriced for the taste.

My undisputed favorite hang in town - whether it’s for a casual coffee catch up with friends or a full blown meal with the family. Chamiers’ unique character is evident in every nook and cranny of the cafe. The Anokhi store in the ground floor is an aesthetically curated boutique with frequently held exhibits from local artists and designers.

You come here for the ambience and ofcourse the food. It maybe a bit pricey for some but sometimes can be worth it. The plates are unique and give an earthy feel.Try the scones for sure. There is a lot of good on the menu (in pic waffles with ice cream and strawberry sauce). Be prepared to spend an average 2 - 3,000 on 2 people. The only negate is that with plenty of private spaces you need to get the staffs attention by coming out from your seating (would like to recommend a sort of silent calling bell). Worth paying a visit for sunday brunch or an evening on a date

Sometimes you are just unable to put a finger on why a place has great ambience. This is one such gem of a place. The garlic fries were great. Hot chocolate could be a bit thicker but was still worth it

Heard of it from when I was a kid, but never had the opportunity to visit the place. The ambience is the best one in this restaurant, the collection of best antiques, the restaurants design seriously the one to try out for. The food was good except for the desserts which could have been better.

It was a nice, cozy place with good music for a pleasant brunch. Bacon strips and the chicken sausage, which was part of the English breakfast plat, was the best part. Also had the pink sauce pasta - could be better. Service was quick.

Great place for breakfast. Just drive into Chennai and in looking up for good breakfast options, Chamiers popped up and it did not disappoint. We tried their Omelettes, Spanish Breakfast and Pancakes. The Eco Espresso packs a kick!

Awesome upscale continental breakfast (and brunch, and lunch, and dinner!). Everything on the menu is great, and the atmosphere is 6 stars - everything is well thought out and intentional, from the pictures on the wall to the napkins on the table. Highly recommend if you want a nice, long, luxurious meal.

Chamiers Cafe, or technically Wild Garden Bar & Restaurant, situated at Chamiers Road is a dynamic space with an eclectic mix of retail space with unique designers showcasing their range of clothes, jewellery and home furnishings. The heart of this space is definitely their cafe that transports you to an era of beautiful canopies, very British furniture, with beautiful art on the walls as well as on the plates. The very regal atmosphere made my choice for breakfast simple, a very British Full Fry Up English Breakfast served usually with fried eggs, bacon, chicken sausages, roasted tomatoes, buttered mushrooms, baked beans, toast, butter and preserves with a glass freshly pressed juice, and a choice of coffee or tea afterwards. The watermelon juice served was at room temperature as they don't like to add ice cubes to reduce the concentration. I requested my fried eggs to be customized for a mushroom cheese omelette, which the cafe obliged and made a decent version, the bacon, though wasn't crisp, was delicious and the highlight was the lightly peppered chicken sausages that were absolutely beautiful. The second highlight was the cappuccino, it was fantastic, strong, beautiful flavors that I enjoyed with a pouch of demerara sugar. While the outdoor space is limited, the indoors are very beautifully curated, transporting you to a different era altogether, I absolutely enjoyed spending time here and promised to come back to explore their extensive breakfast menu, again, but also to explore their lunch options. It is something that I highly recommend so much that you will find this space under my new tag #apjprecommends100%

Lovely ambience and it does feel like home. You can sit the whole day here and relax or get your remote work done. The sitting area has been divided into 3 parts - outdoor, indoor clustered & small rooms for privacy. Had espresso and it was ok, pita n hummus was also ok. Would love to try more stuff next time and rate on the food here. 2 star less because I had to wait nearly for 20 mins to place the order and 30 mins to get the bill, basically if u sit inside the last room u won't be seen and they don't bother about us. Rest is ok.
