Anjappar one of our regional taste. South India specialist. Mainly meals is so good. Big parking, air conditioned, ppl who served there, they are truly gives respect.

Located on Chennai to Vellore direction. Had ample of space for car parking. Food quality is authentic and good in taste. The staffs are much cooperative. Their non veg curry and soup are excellent 👌.

Briyani is good 👍 Garlic Tandoori also nicely cooked ... But fruit milk shake is not that much 😕 taste only banana content is more ..

We had team lunch..Staffs are keen on bring the guest to their tables. once you sit over there , there is a delay in response. Lighting is poor. I had veg food and my friends had Non veg. Overall rating for food taste is average.

Recently dinned in this restaurant near nazarathpet as we thought this would be good for having lunch. Ambience was nice, ample space for parking. Washrooms were kept clean. Ordered a mutton biryani, chicken chukka along with a fruit salad. Biryani tasted good although bit costlier and acceptable. But the fruit salad is too less in quantity and very costly. When I noticed the price of it in the menu card (200rs with a scoop of ice cream) I literally thought they would provide a small bowl of the fruits along with an ice cream scoop. But they served all together in a small ice cream cup. Hardly it would have half an apple and 2 slices of pineapple with a scoop of ice cream. Very much disappointed to see such a low quantity food for so much high price. Without knowing this and thought of an average price, we also ordered tender coconut payasam. The taste was not upto the mark but costed ₹145~. Keeping high price in the highways is totally acceptable. But the quantity should be equally justified. It's all about customer satisfaction.

We feel satisfied for the nandu pepper gravy and mutton curry too. They offer standard menu for meals order. Actually when my friend looking the menu card, the person took the card unexpectedly. Some of them roaming without watching out. Service wise they need to improve.

Pathetic service. After covid this place has become so bad. I used to love coming here. Literally had to wait 15 minutes before each dish during a buffet. Since there is no crowd they aren't cooking as much I guess. Real disappointment.

My bad, went to this hotel for lunch. Briyani which was served to us was not hot, you know what was the time we went, it's 1 pm. If a hotel can't serve briyani hot at this peak hour, what's the point in running that hotel. We ordered 1 chicken briyani and 2 egg briyani. None was served hot. Pathetic. Even after complaining, they didn't reacted. Told them to adjust the bill, but they denied. Very arrogant. Pl avoid going to such hotel.

In chicken Biriyani. The chicken size is just an egg size. For which I have asked the supervisor. This is the repose he gave. As the same qty only I am giving to all the clients. The worst justification I ever had from the cashier and the captain. As they said manager is not available. And the cashier said the chicken will be 200 grams. But there only 75 grams of chicken as you can see in the pic attached.

HORRIBLE,poorest service at anjappar, they brought us bland food, and by the time they got plates the food was cold, ISathish customer care manager had the worst responses to give, he served rice to me and not to the others in the table, it was like I had to finish the food so that they can they their turn. After paying for food and service we don't get it. Worst ever.

Simply waste!! Meal was bad!! Fish and mutton was not fresh! Curries were jus masala mixed-up water.

The place is pinned wrong in the map . Don't trust the map. The hotel is far from the place showing on map . You need to travel like 10 min to reach the actual place. Hope the hotel pins it right after this review . The hotel is no where near the pinned place . Except the location everything in the hotel is absolutely good. I loved the people who served my food . The were Soo much polite . If I ever think of going to the restaurant again it would be cause of the people who work there. They were so good . The food there is also good .

Had Mutton Pepper Soup, Chicken Keema Dosa, Fish finger and Lemon Salt Soda. Taste was good. Chicken keema dosa was average compared to other hotels. But it was really filling. Worth for the cost. Fish finger is 290₹ per plate for 6 pieces. It was made using vanjaram fish for this day. It was really good and tasty. Must try. They usually serve basa fish which is also good I guess.

Safety wise ok. Not much variety in buffet. Starters ar e tasty, but can have more options. Very few items in desert. Service is good, but they have not served any veg starters to us. (We opted for non veg buffet, but other restaurants offer both veg and non veg to non veg customers). The biggest surprise was, when we ordered 7 up ( they have only pepsi and 7 up in softdrinks, nothing else available, no mocktails also). They charged Rs. 75 + gst for one small glass of 7 up. Served in glass, not in bottles. Refill was not free, hence ended up in paying Rs. 170+ for two glasses. cost of bottled water (1L) was 90.

The starters here are delightful. But after that the whole experience had been quite okayish. The main course was satisfactory and the desserts were scarce. The flavors used in the cakes were appalling. Only the ice cream made it feel like there were even desserts out there. Very limited that way too. The ambience is very nice and the waiters are courteous too. It's a very good place if what you're looking for is good starters and you're going to consume more of it as compared to the rest. Wouldn't recommend this place for dessert lovers. Besides if you plan on going for the buffet, get nearbuy coupons, you'll save 200 bucks and taxes.

The dishes are not upto the mark.Soya sauce in excess in all the dishes.Salt is added liberally. The chef need to be replaced. The fish fry was burned and you get a smoky taste. Please upgrade the quality.

Visited Mainland China Annanagar on 2nd January 2021 for ordering takeaway lunch. The restaurant follows standard Covid Protocols. We ordered 2 portions of mixed Fried Rice, 1 portion of chili teriyaki chicken and one portion of braised chicken in smoked chili sauce. 2 portions of rice can easily serve 4 adults. Chilly teriyaki chicken was tossed in sweet Japanese teriyaki sauce flaked with chilies, but chicken pieces were hard. Braised chicken in smoked chilly sauce was delicious. Overall, except for the extra hardness of the chicken ( Teriyaki Chicken - wish to consider this as an exception) the quality of food was good. The portions easily served the requirement of 4 adults. All the 4 of us liked the food. Placed the order at 12.30 and received the order at 1pm. So, the waiting time was 30 minutes which I guess is normal with Mainland China. I reckon Mainland China to be of a place were the team used to treat you as a guest, but I was not served water even though I was seated on a table because I had ordered food for taking away. Although there were no one in the restaurant when I walked in, courteousness or a simple welcome gesture would have made any one feel good, but then, I think Covid times do not demand those. ( any ways not a complaint) Restaurant Valet Parking person could be trained to be courteous with guests. I chose to park by myself thanks to the attitude of the valet parking person. Overall Ratings - Food 4 out of 5 (would have given 5 except for the teriyaki chicken) Service Standards, 3 out of 5 – Restaurant - I would still rate 4, but for the valet parking person. Ambience – 4 out of 5

Had a team lunch here. Those who likes Chinese food definitely love this place. For the people who loves Indian food definitely won't prefer for the second time coz of Chinese cuisine. But service and ambience everything perfect. So calm and nice background music with beautiful lights.

I had buffet which costed 600rs per person for lunch and it was worth it. The options were limited but they were fresh and yummy! The staffs were good too. Only cons is the premises, because parking facilities are not that great.

The Anna Nagar branch is to be avoided at all costs. No focus on the customer at all and communication is pathetic.

Mainland China was a pioneer in serving quality Chinese food for reasonable pricing. The prices may seem above average but the quality and quantity was good but it has been drastically reduced. Especially if you buy online, the food tastes really bad. The buffet which used to be a highlight of their service has become worse. I really wish that Mainland China gets their game back on.

Hi to all, the mainland China on the 6th Avenue Anna Nagar, is wonderful place for Family. the food is divine and very tasty. Especially Fish with Black papper Sauce & Crispy lamb are outstanding & Mouth watering, Mr.Karthik was very courteous, caring and ensured a memorable dine-in experience.

Have you tried Masala rice? Must try here. But you have to ask as Dum Biryani!! Then Kaara mizhagu chicken!! Vera level appadinu nenaichukite saapitta… better feel kidaikum. Last but don’t miss it. Have you tried Coconut milk for Rs 120? Must try. But you have to ask as Elaneer paayasam’!!

I hate the service of this particular branch they are spoiling the name of anjappar. I had ordered 2 non veg meals, 1 nattukori fry and 2 omelets.. they first served the meals and took really very long to service the side dishs. The meals just had one fish gravy extra other than the veg meals.. they serve all the kuttu,poriya, gravy, sambar rasam etc in a very small portion cups. When I asked for more the supplier and the person who takes the order gave me a sarcastic look and served them. This experience was not only to me a friend of mine had also experienced the same at the same outlet. ANJAPPAR please confirm is your meals a limited meals or unlimited and what all non veg will be included in your so called non veg meals

Would give it a negative if I could. This was hands down the worst experience ever! The food was horrible to say the least. I wouldn't have written this review if it were my first time but this is my second time having food at Anjapar and I'm starting to think it's just how it is. We are just out of this Restaurent at Nazarathpettai after having lunch. They gave me an old mutton kola which tasted horrible and it was disgusting! And to top that off there was a literal BEE 🐝 in the chicken lollipop for my daughter. Maintaining hygiene alongside good taste of food is something i would expect but this restaurant gave me NOTHING. Pathetic 🤮

Very bad hotel. They provided spoilt food when i ordered through swiggy. When i complained the same to swiggy i didn't get proper response. No proper response from hotel too. As you can see in the image, it is a old gravy reheated multiple times and spoilt food too. It tasted like pickle

One of the most decent south indian NV hotel in and around Nazarethpettai. This place and food is as good as every other branch of Anjappar😀 It was kinda hidden between the buildings and those passing through nazarethpettai might miss this hotel . Food was amazing. Mutton biriyani tasted like the biriyani served at weddings.😎 Service was good.👍 Place was well maintained and clean. Staff were patient and good to us.😃 Ambience was also pleasant.🤓 Kids can be taken here as there are high chairs for toddlers and I hope meals are kids friendly too.🫡 they have a decent and standard vegetarian options in their menu.😀

We ordered 1 Mutton Briyani, 1 Veg Meals for take away. Paid Rs 628/- . Mutton Briyani taste is okay but Veg meals cost paid more than Rs 200/- but taste is very worst. Never ever try it. Totally Rs 628 Waste. 1 Year back briyani taste was good here now very worst. I wish to give you 0 Star but no option so 1 star....

worst experience! i have ordered Half grilled chicken via swiggy(25th May 2023). I received it before the time, but the chicken was almost rotten and too smelly!! i tried to reach the restaurant, but no response. raised a complaint in swiggy and dumped the food. Anjappar was a reputed brand in the restaurant business, but now - no words. Even small joints are being responsible nowadays. packaging - was given in a typical foil(which was leaked) food quality - rotten

We ordered a vegetarian meals and a mutton biriyani. The vegetarian meals was very good. So was the mutton biriyani. Everything was made with the right amount of spice. To end our meal we had a lime juice and a milk shake. Both were excellent. Highly recommended.

Totally waste. Stale food supplied. If you ordered any chicken gravy, they make some gravy thing with old chicken and try to convince that is what you ordered or they will say that is chef’s special. Please don’t prefer to go when you are really very hungry.
