Nice scenary

I'm living near retteri besides the retteri lake.Its a beautiful place. Even though the area is still developing it's a beautiful place to live. During evening the place gives beautiful vibes. Main thing is during summer there will be no water problem.

This is one of the most drinking water supply lake to Chennai metropolitan people's

Always ultimate my area retteri. Summa antha pola view irukum. No water scarsity. No over water issue. But road are danger careful crossing. Awesome place to live. Lakshmipuram retteri.

With a breeezy air and the sound of the waves gives peaceful vibes But the shores of the lakes has been polluted with plastics 😞 Hope ,corp takes necessary steps to clean it

Lake not clear

Nice place for fishing, but the place is not kept clean, garbage lying everywhere. If the place is well maintained, then it can attract more visitors.

There is no lake it's waste water smells bad.worst area .

My place, i could say that I am retteri'ian like an iit'ian 😋 Good water good food fresh lake fish many hotels and stays nearby commuting hotspots to travelling inter and outer city No one can say they don't like this place, it's been 30 years here for me, still looking to stay and live my life in this area, after all no one can change their birth address!

It is clumsy with plants and shrubs and half grown trees. Many people make fishing over here with fishing rods and net. It is commonly a rain water reservoir during rainy season and the stagnated water on roads in rainy times they pump out the water and store in this lake.

Nice but it lack in cleanliness.

Perfect place to take walk by the lakeside since there are footpaths and benches. The place not so crowded too.

Reteri lake is very nice and very clean... Nearby so many fish markets and shops temple hospital Very beautiful 😍 place 💝 fisher mens are also staying in enter 😀 now a days nobody see the lakes 😔 but very natural palce all are see the lakes and rivers 🙏😉😍

The name is retteri - Rettai Eri : which means twin lake. But what you see now is just one lake. No! The road that bisects the lake doesn’t make it retteri (twin lake). If you see geographical maps of Chennai during British rule you can The OG second lake in place north of current lake, somewhere around what is now shown as Balaji nagar in map.
