I wish I had gone by the reviews posted here already and went to some other Aquarium shop. Mistakingly I approached them to start my planted Aquarium. Though I didn't get that much response. Mr. Karna was quite friendly and he told a lot about the fish and plants. But the other guy Rakesh through whom I was communicating to start the planted tank, he just flat ripped me off. I came to understand this only after visiting a lot other shops and having their opinions. They definitely have a good assortment of fish are definitely way costlier than most other shops around. This is the only shop where I saw and also was suggested to add clay chips in the bottom for the planted tank. Even they had used it in one display tank of theirs which had only Vallisneria which is a low demanding plant. If you go on by their advice to use it to reduce the price, trust me, just forget having a good and thriving planted Aquarium. The life of the planted tank will get drastically reduced. If you are interested in the planted tank hobby, please invest in a good quality substrate like tropica or ADA. Cost wise Tropica will be much affordable than ADA. Don't go for the local brand of soil and you will end up regretting and spending more than what you intended. Please do you research and never think of entering this shop to buy something without prior knowledge. You will be robbed in daylight

If you do not have much knowledge about plants and fish...they will rip you off. You will be charged 3-4 times the actual price. I was shocked to hear the prices they were quoting. Prices came down abruptly when they understood we were not new to fish keeping hobby. They do have some good collection of plants and fish!

Good collection of Plants and fishes..and price are very moderate. Fishes range from 40 to 100 rs plants are less price and wide range..

Felt so costly but the collection of fishes and plants they have is good no reduction. Sometimes we get cheated on fishes.. so be careful if you don't have idea about fishes please don't go and get cheated k ow what to buy and what is the rate so that you can guess what is going on around

One of the worst shops in the entire Kolathur for planted if you do not have any knowledge on it. Few weeks back I got ripped for a frogbit plant they charged me 60 rs for one floater. Whereas you can get it for 25 rs outside.

The shop kepper and the staff are speak like the third rated person to the customers he attitude like rowdey

Very bad experience. I use to select plants and ask shopkeeper to pack as I know the average price of plants in kolathur usually varies a little . I did the same here, and asked the shop keeper to pack plants. At billing he said the price that shocked me it's about 3 to 4 times the average price. So ask for the price first. Avoid being robbed

Avoid this guy at any cost…. All of the plants started decaying after 3 days.. he will do daylight robbery if you are a beginner.. he sold me all co2 plants even though knowing I am going to do non co2 setup..

I have handed over month ago my discus fish worth Rs.6000 to sale , but they are still not refund money to me at least 2000 rs- seems they are try to cheat...

Great shop for NANO fish and other EXOTIC varieties of fish and shrimp. All types of aquatic plants ranging from carpet plants to background plants and even floating plants. Great customer service and helpful in answering queries.

don't visit this shop, owner is helpless person, he is not fit to run the business in Kolathur aquarium market, better he can consult da good doctor... who ever new or referring the plants in online, if you ask any questions he wil scold badly that he know everything. Most of the plants are decayed...
