Sea, sun and supper all you have it here. You cannot miss this place. The host Rahul is amazing guy who will help understand your needs and will suggest great dishes to enjoy. Superb ambience and smacking food. Do not forget to order ridge gourd rings and pasta here. Thank you Rahul, it was a pleasure.

Found this place on a recommendation, and am very happy. I’m here alone and was made to feel very welcome. The fresh watermelon juice was delicious, as was both seafood dishes I tried. Very fresh, and non-typical flavours. The owner is super friendly and has had quite a life journey leading to this bar!

I've never eat prawns that good in my life. All the sea food are fresh of the day and well chosen. Loved so much the food that a I came back for dinner in the same day. The owner is really friendly and give really good advice.

I visited this place on a recommendation in June and Rahul welcomed me as if I was part of the family. I ended up spending few days around, surfing and trying many dishes of the large and delicious menu. While having an amazing prawn curry or a vegan fried fish, Shaka shack offers you a stunning view on the beach and the surf spot of Mahabalipuram. Much recomanded! Will come back soon 🏄🌞

Superb vegetable curry, probably the best I've had so far in India. Good atmosphere and beer, really nice owner who was very accommodating and friendly. I hope they are very successful. Best wishes to you.

Lovely breeze coming off the sea. It is a rustic shack on the beach. The made to order fish and the pulled pork were really good. Minimum spice is on the higher side, and small children will have to be satisfied with finger chips.

The place we originally planned on going to was closed. Rahul welcomed us in and in hindsight, we are so glad we agreed. The food is great, the vibe is great, the service is top notch and the views can't get any better! We ordered curry leaf prawns, Trevally tawa masala fry, moilee prawn curry and rice. Unfortunately, didn't take many pictures of the food we ordered but that is an indicator of how delicious and inviting the food was. We jumped right at it! =D The seafood is extremely fresh, Trevally was a whole fish but it was deboned which elevated the whole experience. And to top it all, Rahul is just the best host. 100% worth a stop, a detour even!
