The Famous Nellore tank or popularly known as Swarnala Cheruvu by the localites is a vast lake just beside the famous Bara Shaheed Darga on the Podalakur Road. This is the place where the famous annual bread festival (Rottela Panduga) is celebrated by people of all the religions. This place is very good hangout for family and children during weekends. Also this is a favourite walking dppt for nearby localites.

Very beautiful location.....but no maintenance. AP govt may kindly take up the steps for development of Nellore tank.....best place to walk and relax.

Good place to hangout but the water there needs to maintain properly and it can become a good tourism spot in future. From the past few years the kottala festival is not celebrating here due to COVID and the government left it aside otherwise if the festival goes on like normal they will take care of it.

A clean and green place with fully of pleasant and peaceful weather such a great place for morning Walks and evening Joggs .I wonder while coming from my college The frustration I get get chilled in a minute because of the view there....What A View.....! Beach is not clean (it is not a problem because fisherman daily go in & out to the sea for fishing...so this) Can experience the bathing in sea shore... I hope the tourism ministry will surely do some-more to this tourist place so that more tourist will come to see this awesome place... Its lovely....

Good!! Looking at beach now. I feel, one of the well developed beachs in AP in recent times. It has a decent parking space for four wheeler. I had a great early evening fun in the beach on my recent visit.

Visited this place just before when the muharram was about to start. Everyone were busy in setting up their pop-up store for the festive season. Place was all covered with multiple lighting's which made the entire area glow with the colors

Overall the place is very pleasant and sometimes near the river some dust we seen and to smell

Very nasty. People are throwing all the waste like papers, water bottles, and other items in near by pond. Sweepers are not cleaning properly.
