taste is good, the portions are WAY BETTER than poke dc chain and the price is about the same, definitely worth it and better. and sometimes u can even enjoy a Groupon with them. that's a big plus! I order with 3 proteins, so my bowl looks way 2 full always, u can't even distinguish anything 😜

I love that this poke place has hijiki salad! The ingredients are always tasty and I really enjoy their wasabi aioli. Sure, they are frequently out of ingredients and the topping containers are often mixed with neighboring toppings, but I don’t mind since their portions are generous and employees are friendly.

Their prices are pretty crazy, but these days it’s hard to find anything reasonable. If you look in the photos under the menu section, the restaurant has posted their menu 4 years ago and it’s completely different now, so someone should really update it. The poke bowls average $17. The food itself tasted great, the rice was warm and they gave us a lot of tuna pieces which seemed fresh. The portions themselves are also pretty generous. My partner and I split a bowl on a hot day, and it was filling. They have some Asian candy, ice cream, and drinks that you can buy as well. And unlike most poke bowl places they actually have seating which was definitely a plus. So, all in all good but expensive.

Poké Dojo has super fresh fish. Start by choosing your base, I like sushi rice. Follow with your protein, the spicy tuna and plain tuna are my faves. Then take a look at the rainbow spread of toppings and just go for it, try em all! Tip: get your order to go, this fast casual spot is majorly lacking in atmosphere. Attention Management: if you’re going to offer a Groupon, train your employees on how to apply it to the customer’s order; 2 minutes to order and 10 minutes to wait for the employee to figure out how to apply it, so you can checkout (thank you to the second employee, a young man who showed up about 5 PM)

Lots of picky my reviews here, this place is fantastic. Very generous portion of poke. The flavor of the spicy and marinated fish is great, and the quality is very good. Pretty much everything I want in a poke bowl.

The food here is pretty good. I liked it as it's very different from cava since you can get shrimp and raw salmon which I love. Also different Asian fusion things like seaweed salad. The garlic shrimp was lacking garlic. However the rest of my bowl was decent just needed a bit more salt. The service was great as the guy that helped us out was super chill and insightful. Gave great recommendations and helped with substitutions. The atmosphere is really lacking in Dojo. Not sure why. It could be a really great place. They even have a little area where you can find different kinds of international snacks like the panda chocolates or poki. However something is missing from the overall vibe of the place. Maybe there isn't enough lighting not sure. Whenever I visit I feel like they are still under construction or renovations.

Delicious poke!!! The fish was fresh and all toppings were outstanding! They offer this kind of sweeter seaweed salad that is something else! Great spot, will definitely come back!

It was truly a great experience the staff was so friendly, and they were very open to giving me recommendations as it was my first time. After going to poke dojo I can proudly say I am a poke lover!!!

Today we ordered two poke bowls. The quantity is great, especially the protein. That is not a surprise though because the quality of the fish is horrible. This cannot be sushi grade fish. Both my wife and I have had diarrhea since and neither of us could finish our bowl. I see that all the reviews of this place are great. It could be that they had an offer today and they were trying to get rid of lower grade fish. Of course that is very problematic.

I used to really love this place, they used to be very high quality. However lately my orders have been wrong, or low quality ingredients. For example my last bowl was missing one of the proteins, and the avocado slice was very small and rotten. I’m very disappointed as I used to order from this spot very frequently. Hopefully things will improve.

This "restaurant" (it's more of a market for over-priced Japanese imports) is surprisingly terrible, considering it's in Bethesda. The tuna and salmon were old & poor quality. The seaweed salad tasted grassy & was inedible. The ginger sauce had no taste whatsoever. All 3 tables were dirty. It was overpriced; $4.50 for an iced green tea from the cooler. They also charge $2 extra for masago; who does that? They were out of chopsticks. I went to the bathroom, which was cluttered, & the paper towel dispenser was broken. I told the worker they were out of soap and toilet paper, & she replied "I can't do anything because the manager's not here."

Not all poke places are the same. This place was great and was way above my expectations. I ordered salmon with rice and salad and some lovely toppings! Will definitely come back!

Place is good, its ehh kinda on the pricey side, the service is really good. We had a few small children with us and they came to our table with some ice cream samples for them free of charge which was really great. The bowl I ordered was pretty good, its definitely a place to go if you like poke bowls.

This was my second visit. A lot of Asian flavors put together. I think diners need to select some but not all of many ingredients in the various poké bowls. Portions were generous. Staff were pleasant and very flexible. My wife loves the tuna.

Always so fresh and delicious. Every experience is a pleasure. Great value for money. Plenty of delicious, fresh toppings and sauces. Clean store. Give this place a try if you haven’t. You won’t be disappointed.

The poke was very good and great selection but I ordered delivery and one of my two proteins was missing and the base I selected was incorrect. Of course since it was delivery the issue couldn’t be resolved and it was frustrating that the order wasn’t read correctly.

Service was great! Fish was fresh and delicious. I just wish they had real (it’s horseradish mostly, I know) wasabi instead of mayonnaise wasabi. The algae salad was also too sweet for my taste but also fresh.

Excellent poke bowls and amazing value. Great quality and you get generous portions. They have a wide variety of toppings to choose from along with Japanese snacks and drinks. Location is very convenient with outdoor seating too. Always love having poke because it tastes great and feels healthy

Both staff were very friendly and patient. The lava bowl was spicy in good way with shrimp, tuna, salmon and variety of ingredients. The aloha bowl was delicious and sweet, because there were mangoes and pineapple mixed with shrimp and a few vegetables.
