Attended a holiday market for the first time here last weekend (12/3) and it was beautiful. Lots of great vendors and I absolutely loved how pet friendly stores were. There is beautiful outdoor seating area with a giant big screen. Definitely going back!

Great location that many hotel shuttles will go to. We had fun walking the streets looking for just the right restaurant. So many cool places to stop at and more to enjoy a cocktail or cold beer while watching your kids play. Many hotel shuttles will get you here as well. Everything was very clean and orderly. We will visit again.

The food was good... Not great. The atmosphere was nice and casual and chill. Lighting and ambiance were good. Not inexpensive. It was quaint and tasty. The cook was new so there were some mishaps with our food but our waitress was great and took care of things quickly. My food was bland even after I added a bunch of things to the order... The flavor was just... Flat. It had been suggested that the flavors wouldn't be strong in the dish which was why I asked for additional ingredients, but the base was just not that flavorful.

Gets crowded on weekends but a lovely place to walk, shop, and taste different food. My favorite [solidcore] studio is there, there are concerts, games, farmers market and different vendors and seasonal decorations

The mosaic district is overall great. There is always available parking one way or another. You can either find street parking or there are plenty of indoor parking garages available. Restaurants and shopping stores are also pretty good. Cafes and juice bars are all good options as well. The play area across from target is awesome for kids. My only complaint would be that everything is overpriced but I guess that’s what happens in all trendy, more hipster neighborhoods. It is just unfortunate. Anyway! Visit this area, it is great.

Mosaic is a great center for all things with a variety that doesn’t end. The area is always kept very clean and managed well. Love the ample parking distributed all over the area so it’s easy to park close to where ever you want to go. Stores include many restaurants, most of which are a good mix of American fare, ethnic cuisine and even bakeries. Shopping includes clothes, household items, Beauty products, you name it! The quad area is very lively and kids can play and run around freely. On weekends the roads are cordoned off for life size chess and other games. Loved the fun addition of a make shift ice rink in the fall. Love the area!

Mosaic district has target store and a lot other newer stores. It looks modern. The rainbow cross walk attracted a lot of people like me to snap a picture. The Hyatt hotel behind the parking lot looks modern as well. Lol, there is a mosaic bus too!

A great local shopping, entertainment snd restaurant area. Target is the anchor, and then there many other retail and food spots. They even have movies showing “in season” on the big screen on the central green lawn area. Perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening with friends and family.

The lack of public transportation is very frustrating. You can’t get there by metro without relying on the Fairfax Connector (which is currently not running). I definitely *won’t* be back anytime soon without more reliable transportation options. Why this is built in the middle of nowhere is a mystery.

This small neighborhood contains just a few blocks in Merrifield. The center of it is certainly the Angelika cinema center. The largest spot is maybe the Target, which you might want to aim for with your navigation app to find a spot to park. But the artistic spirit of this place comes from the many artsy and extraordinary small shops you find here a lot. And of course by the Angelika which presents so much more then the present mainstream.

I always spending my time at night over there. Always go there at night time because this place is so busy. Later it feels like you won the place. Great to hangout with friends. Nice environment. Lot of food options.

Solid collection of stores, restaurants, and entertainment. Traffic always but enough parking in the garages if you can battle the masses. No real bar scene to go out to, but good for daytime. I like the little food delivery robots that roll around. They also have fun events and festivals and a good farmers market Sunday mornings. I’m glad I live near here

Went here for a date night. Originally had reservations at one spot but unfortunately we were running a little behind and by the time we got through the crowd and found parking, our seats were let go. But we did get in at Matchbox for dinner so all wasn't lost. Anyway there is plenty to do and see and shop for in this area. Definitely kid and pet friendly. Great place to just walk and enjoy your company. But definitely plan to be around crowds of people. For the most part the place is clean and safe so I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Who does not love Mosaic! I have lived in Mosaic area for the past 20 years. Who remembers the Movie Theater, The Gas Stations, Taco Bell, Bank of America- Wow what a change we have had. Mosaic is the best Concept and the best place to come to after a long day. I envy those that live at Mosaic! I do think that the street in front of the Target should be permanently closed and made pedestrian friendly, like the last 2 years. I love the restaurants, Farmers Market, Mom's Organic!

It's OK but on the expensive side. I sometimes go to Mom's Organic Market, which is smaller than Whole Foods and has a better feel. The bread place in the back is where I go most often. The restaurants are generally overpriced relative to food quality; rents are probably high, and owners have to cover their costs. Traffic can be rough.

I'm not a painter, but here, that doesn't matter ! My fiance loves painting, and because she does, so do I... sit back enjoy delicious snacks and cocktails while the music is jamming and find your muse within !!

Excellent shopping and dining center! Many different cuisines to choose from! The grassy play area is nice for kids and to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. They have a mini market there two days a week, movies in the square Thursday night in summer, and a skating area in the summer too! The Target here is very convenient as well! Plenty of street or garage parking (FREE!).

The Mosaic District in Falls Church, Virginia, has a number of excellent modern restaurants that cater to a variety of budgets, as well as major retailers, gourmet restaurants, and a fantastic movie theater that will occasionally show movies for families on the large screen outside the theater. The ambiance is contemporary with a touch of tradition. Tables are frequently occupied by people who are seated with their friends. Some of the people are regular visitors from the surrounding housing complexes - this area, as well as all of its amenities, has a strong proclivity to keep its customers.

This place is cool. So many places to choose from to eat. So many places to shop. If you can't find what you want here I don't know where you'll find it. Really nice looking and clean area. Lots of dog walking so be ready for that but they are well behaved and not a nuisance at all. People live here so be open-minded. All in all, great place to stroll around and explore.

Love hanging out at the Mosaic District out door Mall/restaurant. It has great retailers and restaurants.

I go to a few places at mosaic for eating and shopping. Parking is the worst thing about it and as a driver trying to drive through is also difficult, lots and lots of pedestrians. I used to come here when it was a single row of restaurants and it is absolutely massive now. Lots to do from eating and drinking to playing games in front of the movie theater or axe throwing. Sometimes there are outdoor events too. Carry out parking helps!

The area keeps improving. Parking was somewhat challenging, but I found some in a garage FREE. The farmers market on sunday was excellent. Great selection of shops, restaurants, and activities. Kid-friendly, pet friendly, and decent for handicap access.

I really enjoyed my day here! Lots of options for coffee and lunch. The movie theatre is really nice too 😀 I'm looking forward to seeing more of the CartKen robots roaming around here soon! 🤖

Lots of great options for hand-crafted goodies. You can invest in conscientious companies that create products in small batches. Wide range of prices to fit any budget. Supporting local small businesses in a lovely outdoor mall.

I have to say. Love it or hate it, there is something for anyone to love or hate here. From the highs of the rooftop garages, to the lows of the FULLY FUNCTIONAL elevator shafts I dare you to come on out. The kids will like the fake grass and the adults might like the whiskey bar. Thanks for reading and I hope you have a great visit to the new and improved mosaic district.
