Beautiful cruise, going back and forth the Potomac in front of some of the iconic monuments in DC... it was neat to see them lit up at night from the water. We took the dinner cruise. The food was good. The alchol was an extra charge and was pretty expensive. The service wasn't the best and the staff seemed overwhelmed or perhaps shorthanded for the amount of passengers on the boat. But everyone was friendly and I believe just trying their best. The best spot was on the deck. Once the dancing started and the DJ was playing it was WAY too loud inside. Overall it was a nice experience.

It was a nice group experience. The buffet had nice selections. Drinks were a little slow coming. Too many people not enough servers. The buffet ran out of salads, and other items. The issue was to keep the line moving you couldn't wait for the items to be refilled. The DJ was excellent, the dance floor was nice. There was a great view from the top deck of the boat.

The rain did not prevent this awesome experience! We were celebrating a birthday! There were other guests also celebrating birthdays, degree accomplishments, anniversaries, love, and etc. The entire staff was grand but our host Crystal was exceptional! She was personable, attentive, and very pleasant! The food was very good! All of it and the DJ was the G.O.A.T! The music was clean, fun, and engaging! An absolutely awesome event! Thanks to everyone!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I took a brunch cruise to celebrate my birthday. It was expensive in my opinion but the food, service, and music was on point! Nice variety of delicious foods with endless mimosas. I also like how they didnt let guests bum rush the buffet. We had to wear masks at the buffet and was called up by table until everyone was served. I would certainly recommend this cruise. My only complaint was they should recommend you arrive 45 mins earlier and not 30 min earlier on the weekend. I don't know how it is midweek, but our cruise was on a Sunday and the pier was extremely crowded since there was another cruise leaving around the same time. Our boat was starting to board but we had no idea since we were caught up in one big line. Also, the cruise was too short only 2 hours.

The food was great as well as the service. The pictures you can see I had the roasted red pepper bisque, smoked chili-rubbed Atlantic salmon, and finished off with the chocolate truffle crunch cake. It was all great. The salmon wasn’t dry, it was flavorful and especially the bisque 🤤. It’s also great to be able to walk around outside while cruising and isn’t windy having to worry about your drink flying away. The DJ would also point out landmarks while cruising and some history of them along the way. I highly recommend this experience to anyone and everyone and will likely take my family to one of the many options whether it be brunch that includes bottomless mimosas, lunch or another dinner cruise. They would love it. You definitely need to take advantage of an experience and share it with friends and family. Especially if you have visitors.

Best 2h and a half of my life. The food, the music, the vibe, scenery, and the staff. Especially Beth haile and Alegra Anderson. They made this experience worth every. single. penny.

What a great experience this was. It was a party boat 🚢 experience for sure. This Potomac boat, the Odyssey, holds 670 passengers, and the food is excellent. So, my wife celebrated her 55th birthday along with a young lady that turned 18, another young lady that turned 105, and yet another lady that turned 50. So, there was a lot of celebration going on this ride. My suggestions: some type of awning or covering from the sun 🌞 while waiting to board. Earlier boarding times or better people management for the boarding process. Our table was really wobbly, and we had asked if it could be adjusted for the time being. They said yes, and it was forgotten. We were told that we could we could have seconds, but the plates 🍽 ran out . They boat had mechanical issues, and our sail ⛵️ ti.e was shortened. I hope they can clean up these issues for a flawless experience. We will do it again.

Took the luxury dinner cruise option with table service on the Odyssey, and had a wonderful time! Food was good, but the atmosphere was fantastic- it really felt like a special occasion. Staff was very attentive. Cocktails were fun. Wine list is short but good options and not overpriced for a restaurant. The views were great, and even just being on the water made it a great night. There was also a DJ and dancing if that's your thing, but my family and I spent a lot of time of deck just watching the scenery. Not cheap, but after taking the cruise we felt it was worth every penny.

We had an excellent waiter. All the staff members were very nice. Loved the DJ. He had everyone on the floor. The waiters doing a line dance was super! The buffet was delicious and a great selection. That flounder! I had the best time ever. I needed it! The Odyssey Cruise was the answer

Had the awesome experience of onboarding for Father's Day. It was a surprise for me so I won't go overboard about the food. The food was buffet style with breakfast options and wasn't for me. The service from my waiter was great though and he made sure we were taken care of. The mimosas were the star for this event and didn't hammer me to hard after several. The trip was cool but as a kid seems like it traveled out a bit more. It seemed like we were floating in circles but still enjoyed. My waiter seen in the photos was lit and got the whole side were we were dancing and engaged. That man needs a raise he really held it down!

Had a great time aboard, the staff were nice and pleasant to talk with on the visit. There was a price of meat on the cheese board that looked beyond its shelf life but beyond that food was good. The DJ was just ok, the songs didn’t seem to fade in well, songs were all over the place and at times started a new song halfway into another song before it finished. Would recommend for people who like to get on the water

I enjoyed a fun New Year's Eve Brunch cruise onboard The Odessey II. The music, food, drinks, and staff were awesome! It was a whole vibe! I purchased my cruise tickets during City Experiences's Black Friday sales event. The tickets are normally $100. I purchased my tickets for $80 each. That's a savings of 20% per ticket. The cruise was pretty much as advertised! I will definitely return for future cruises! If you haven't cruised with City Cruises yet, hurry and book one! You won't be disappointed!!!!!!!!!

Staff was great and very professional but still had a great time dancing when it came down to it. From booking the tickets online to boarding it was a very easy process. We parked at the garage a block away. We paid $28 for 2-3 hour parking but it was well worth it so we didn’t have to walk to far after eating lol. On to the buffet, it was surprisingly very good. Had a great selection of desserts and salads. They had one dish that was birria style chicken, definitely not birria like the Hispanic one we are accustomed to but it was still delicious. Food did not run out like some of the other reviewers posted about which was great for us. The DJ was funny and did a wonderful job of naming what we were passing by and fun facts of things and buildings in the area. You are able to step out onto the deck for some beautiful views and peaceful water sounds. Overall it was a great time on board and the captain did a great job of pulling off and parking at the end! Highly recommend. One thing knocked off my bucket list!

We went to Mt. Vernon on the city cruise boat! The boat had ample indoor seating, and outside seating! Continental Coffee and tea, of course other items for purchase. They ride it’s self was smooth and slow, they did have audio demographic insight but it was not playing very well. Otherwise staff was friendly and boat was clean and bathrooms too! It was a beautiful way to spend the day. These were some of the view we captured.

We previously had a dinner date on the Odyssey which sold us on having our wedding on it. We had our wedding on the Odyssey on a Saturday morning. Buying out 1/3 of the boat was pricey but provides plenty of room. Brunch was served and although we didn't get to eat too much due to our wedding activities we enjoyed the food options buffet style and mimosas. For an anniversary we want to go back just the immediate family so we can actually enjoy the views and food. With the sun being super bright that day it did heat up inside a little more than what we liked. Overall we would go again but only as small family. Parking is a pain even after buying a charter bus to just pick up and drop off our guests. They wouldn't allow the but to drop off by the entrance and made our guest walk from the main street. Since we had older guest and some disabled this would have been a deal breaker. Odyssey does not have its own parking, more or less rents out space for parking and have no say In management. People in charge of parking were rude and practically almost cause a fight over it. You must come early to get parking.

I was surprised how many reviews didn’t like the food. The food was very good. Everyone was super nice and attentive. I enjoyed the scenery on the brunch cruise. It was definitely more of a party boat than I expected.

This cruise was so entertaining! We went to DC to celebrate my brother's birthday, and we found this cruise on Groupon. As we were boarding, we realized a church group was boarding to celebrate their Pastor's anniversary. Needless to say, the church crowd was lively, and they brought the party to life. The bartender upstairs was friendly and took pride in making fun cocktails that are Instagram-ready🍒🍊🍍 The staffed nicknamed us musical chairs because we changed seats a few times, but we were okay with being the butt of a joke. We ended with the perfect table for our party. The DJ kept the party going. The wait staff was attentive, and the food was delicious. I look forward to taking another cruise in the near future.
