Terrible customer service. I would not recommend. I needed help with their breakfast choices (because I’m not Peruvian and it all seemed strange) When I asked my questions, the lady there completely ignored all of my questions. I repeated my questions again and she responded by saying “I don’t have time to answer your questions. Are you gonna order or not ?” I did not eat breakfast at Lima Coffee Shop because they were rude and lacked customer service. Instead I went to Grind n Crepe in Occoquan (5-7 mins away) They were *kind* and respectful to me and provided kind help navigating their breakfast choices.

Great coffee and food! Went with my brother to get lunch and coffee and was not disappointed. I had an iced latte and the asado sandwich (roast beef sandwich), both excellent. The staff were also very helpful and nice, helping us decide what we should get. Will stop by again if in the area!

I stopped by Lima Coffee Shop on my way back from a drive. Really enjoyed the Lomo Saltado I got for takeout. If Im ever passing by the area again, I would love to give their other food items a try!

Peruvian specialties and friendly people. I didn't have coffee but the papa rellena was excellent. The fresh juices were fantastic too. Spanish is the preferred language, but I only speak a little and felt quite welcome. I highly recommend this home style authentic food. I'll go back when I can.

The coffee was very good. The sandwiches looked tasty. Menu features sandwiches, salads, and so.e specials. Very friendly staff. I give the owners respect for opening a coffee shop trying to compete with the national chains. Clean and well-organized. We will definitely stop again next time we're in town.

We used to come here pretty often but recently the service and quality of the food changed. My parents got their food cold and my dad got a wrong order. Last time the tamal didn't taste good, and they still charged me even though I gave it back to them. Hope things can change.

I have been to almost every Peruvian restaurant in Virginia and this place was pretty disappointing, the staff is nice and I ordered a chicharron which was pretty good, but I also ordered a ceviche which was bad, the fish was squishy and had a weird taste, my favorite plate is ceviche so this was sad. Then I went up to pay and asked for a pack of their afrijoles, thinking these can’t be bad it’s just a Peruvian desert cookie, but I was wrong, it tasted outdated like it’s been sitting there for weeks, I’m not picky but I know the difference between a good and bad plate. This place has potential to be way better, hope they can change things around

Food was delicious although we didn’t get the purpose of the shoe string “fries” that came on the side. The coffee is fresh and strong. All in all a good experience.

Pro-Great coffee! I ordered a vanilla latte. Con- I didn’t want to wait for food to be prepared since I was headed to an appt. So I ordered an empanada. I get to my appt so that I can eat in the car and the empanada was COLD. then I go inside and there was no microwave. So here we are 4 hours later from my appt time and I still haven’t had anything to eat. I wish the cashier would’ve asked me if I wanted it heated (if they had that capability). If it couldn’t have been warmed I would not have ordered it.

Such an amazing family place. The first time I had empanadas, and the next time I had Milanese. The coffee was perfect.

Ordered Pan con Chicharron, pork was not freshly fried, tasted old and the bread they used was a hoggie roll not the traditional Peruvian French rolls they advertize on the menu. Was pretty disappointed because I expected a traditional pan con chicharron sandwich for the $10 I paid.

We asked for a cold coffee with milk and cream and they gave us a regular black coffee with ice. And the plantain chips which seemed rather steamed and had no salt or flavour. I was laughing out of their dumbness LOL. You can definitely go there if you like flavourless food and cold black coffee.

I was kindof nervous to try but the Fraps were amazing! My new little coffee shop to stop by on my way to work! Good Plantains are hard to find in this area and they were ON POINT. Loved them! Their fries are delicious too :)

Their latte is unmatched in the area! So so good & nice and fresh Coffee shop with fried food being served requires a top of the line ventilation/exhaust system.. smells unpleasant (fried food/fish) when ordering/drinking coffee.. at a coffee shop

Kind staff, has that latino style local coffee spot vibe like the ones back home in miami. Definitely a must go if you’re a latino in the area.

I have driven by this place several times, and just never went in though I was kind of curious .This morning my husband said I feel like getting something for breakfast. When i searched "breakfast near me" it came up with great reviews so I decided to go check it out. The sandwiches were delicious and perfect after a rather long night out! Not fancy, just super tasty. The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic in their recommendations. Will be returning again very soon.

Nice "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant. Right on the main road so it is actually really easy to spot. I only got coffee, latte, and expresso, but found them all to be good and priced normally for the area. They don't have Starbucks level of equipment but they do well. The place is more of a restaurant and I will go back to investigate something tasty. The two ladies running the place were very pleasant and both wore masks. Customers that came in did not wear masks. Nevertheless, I will go back to check out the food sometime.

Great Coffee and food. This place is a gem, I have a hard time not stopping here in the morning to buy a breakfast sandwich and a coffee even when I'm running late to work.

This place has a a hidden gem! Today was my first time with my mom and we absolutely loved the food! We are Peruvians so the taste hit home. Definitely recommend and will come back.

What can I say. The cappuccino I make at home is better than Starbucks and I doubted this place but wanted to give it a try. And I am glad I did because it's even better than what I make at home.. we were there for the week and I had it every morning and we tried their food too the asado sandwich was really good. Sad we don't have anything like this in CLT

Great little spot to grab coffee!

  • 5/5 Carla A. 3 years ago on Google
I’ve been coming here for some time now since they changed names and you can taste the difference in the food. As Peruvians we are extremely picky and critical with our food so we are beyond honest. I wouldn’t trade this place for any other Peruvian Breakfast spot. I come here at least once a week sometimes 2-3 times. I recommend the Pan con Chicharrón or the chicken Sandwich. I can tell they are here to stay due to their outstanding customer service and attention to detail in the flavoring of their food.

(Translated by Google) All the delicious food, attention A1, but I take a star from it because the bathrooms were too dirty, even more with this pandemic, it should be your priority to keep it clean. But from there everything is good. I recommend it (Original) Toda la comida deliciosa, la atención A1, pero le quito una estrella porque los baños estaban demasiado sucios, mas aun con esta pandemia, debería ser su prioridad de mantenerlo limpio. I have been eyeing this little shop for months now, and I must admit I regret not going sooner. This little bistro is immaculate — you could tell within the first 10 seconds of your arrival that they prioritize cleanliness. Aside from that, the ladies working behind the counter are so sweet and welcoming — I always get nervous walking up to random restaurants for some reason but these ladies made me feel right at home. We ordered the asado and salchica sandwiches paired with a smoothie and cappuccino. The food and the drinks were outstanding! The sandwiches were the perfect size and flavor I seek from breakfast sandwiches. The cappuccino was a million times better than Starbucks; it was creamy and perfectly balanced. The smoothie was dairy free (yay for my lactose intolerance) and delicious. We loved it so much we already planned to go back for an early dinner today. My one suggestion is that they should open a little longer. I usually don't crave lomo saltado and other entrees they have until dinner time – which is past their closing time. I understand this is a tough time for restaurants so it is not that big of a deal. You really can't go wrong here. Their food is fantastic, the customer service is second to none, and the location is optimal for easy parking.
