Highly recommend! I had the pleasure of recently visiting the Capital Grille restaurant, and I can confidently confirm that it truly is an outstanding steakhouse experience! The service was impeccable - the servers were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, the bar tenders were fantastic and the managers were always present to ensure that our dining experience was running smoothly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting - it has such a nice ambiance! And of course, the food was absolutely delicious. My particular favorite was the bone in filet - it isn't even on the menu, so you have to mention it to your server in order to get it, but I can assure you that it is well worth it! I would absolutely recommend visiting the Capital Grille for an enjoyable steakhouse experience. I will definitely be returning for many more special occasions!

Rich is the man! Honestly probably the best waiter I've had in a decade. Came for my wedding anniversary and he was very funny, extremely helpful and on top of everything the entire meal. A true professional in every sense and I truly appreciated him making the night that much more special. 10/10 service. Thank you Rich!

One of the best steak restaurants in DMV However, still thought Ruth’s Chris is a tad better in taste ! Two Thumbs Up & Highly Recommend it!

If you want a 5 Star high end Steak experience the Capital Grille is the place to go in Northern Virginia. Our server Jason was amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were heavenly. The General Manager hooked us up by surprise with a delicious desert plate since it was a celebration for my friend getting a new job. 5 stars in every way!

The best surf and turf I've ever had! Lobster was amazing! Worth every penny. Great service too. Highly recommend for a date night or a work event.

The bill was expensive but it was good for Valentine’s Day. I got the bone in rib-eye with the Oscar Shrimp. It was really good. They also give you chocolate covered strawberries and roses. It’s a treat for sure. My bf got the sea bass and he recommends. The espresso martini will have you feeling sexy loll as always. The Mac and mash was ok.

It was our Anniversary lunch... they sprinkled our table with hearts, along with a card. And as a bonus, they gave us a complimentary dessert. It was all the little extras that made our experience so great! Caesar salad- crispy lettuce and loved the dressing. Filet mignon with crab meat and Béarnaise sauce, over a bed of asparagus. Filet was cooked medium as requested and flavorful. Chilean Sea Bass- delicious and prepared well. Dessert chocolate cake and cheese cake. It was so hard to decided which tasted better because they were both so good! We would definitely return. Great customer service and attentive staff too. They provide valet parking. $5 flat rate.

My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful dinner last night @ the Tysons location. From the time we walked in, the hosts were friendly and welcoming. After deciding to sit at the bar area, Kristina checked on us throughout the night and was phenomenal! Her customer service was amazing. We also appreciated the welcome service from Enrique. They are both a great asset to the restaurant. We’ll return as often as our time will allow!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Virginia and decided to come here. We were running late, and they gave us a courtesy call to hold our table. When we got there, the staff greeted us and congratulated us on our anniversary. They even decorated the table and gave us a card. We recieved complimentary passion fruit martinis that were delicious. Our waiter, Walter, was amazing. He took real good care of us even when it started getting busy. I loved the anniversary decorations for the desserts. The main course was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted so good. We will definitely come back.

Capital Grille was excellent, the service was awesome. Our server did a good job also recommending the best steak cuts for me. Wife got the Kona dry aged, son #1 had the little tiny 4oz filet mignon, son#2 had chicken fingers?!?! And I had the beautiful boned in dry aged rib eye oscared up with crab meat on a bed of asparagus. Out son chicken fingers and fries was presentation was beautiful, had fruits decor on the plate. Our steaks were flavorful and delicious, the sides was good too especially liked the calamari and the potato gratin. Lobster mac and cheese was alright, didnt like that cheese on it too much, the truffle fries was good. Creamed spinanch was good as always. I would go here again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our meal at The Capital Grille and plan on returning. The food is delicious, depending on what you choose, and the customer service is excellent. The hostesses were friendly and our waiter was very attentive. For our appetizer, we had the Lobster and Crab Cakes. I would highly recommend this dish. It was awesome! For our entrees, my husband got the Bone-In Ribeye and I got the Roasted Chicken Breast. For our sides we got the brussels sprouts and the mashed potatoes. The steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. The brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were tasty and we would definitely get them again. I wouldn't get the Roasted Chicken Breast again. The chicken was moist, but the risotto that it came with lacked flavor and was a little runny. For dessert, my husband got the Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake and I got the Coconut Cream Pie. The Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake was to die for and I would definitely get it again. The Coconut Cream Pie wasn't very good, and I would not recommend it. The dessert was beautiful, but parts of it tasted dry and lacked flavor. Overall, our experience was great and we will come back again. I will just order steak next time, since this is what they are known for and will stay away from the Coconut Cream Pie. This is a great spot for a date night or a special occasion dinner.

What an incredible evening at the Capital Grille in Tysons. There were two main people that stood out and delivered amazing service. Right when we entered the restaurant the manager , Jon Levine, greeted us and wished two of our guests a very happy birthday. He escorted us to the table that was dressed up with birthday cards and a decorated table. WHAT A TREAT! You can tell Jon truly loves what he does and it made the evening so great. He even check on us from time to time to make sure everything was going well. We felt like VIPs. The other person who made the night was our waiter, Walter. He was smooth in every way. From explaining the menu to his recommendations and just his overall professionalism. He was a cool cat and his service level was outstanding. Yes, the food was top notch. I would highly recommend you coming here for any occasion. If you happen to be greeted by Jon and taken care by Walter, you evening will be flawless.

My brother from another mother knows a good, no, make that excellent steakhouse when he comes upon such a place. The Capitol Grille is his go to steakhouse in this area and I now understand why. It is a classic, old school steakhouse with a beautiful bar, great wine selection, booths and large tables, table cloths, silverware set properly, attentive wait staff and more! Did I mention the food? The greens, goat cheese and berries salad was delicious! My brother had the classic onion soup which he loves. We both went with the dry aged New York strip steak which was grilled perfectly and so tasty accompanied by grilled asparagus, cream corn and mashed potatoes. Our waiter, Musa, was a wealth of information and a delight to chat with. If I lived here, this would be my go to place for celebrating special occasions.

This is a fairly expensive steak house and the food, service and drink menu are all amazing. There are a couple of seafood options and a vegetarian option as well, but go for the steaks which start at $60 plus veggies plus starters and you are at $100 plus drinks. It's very hard to get into the parking lot which only offers valet parking and there is no easy access from nearby garages but not impossible to avoid pay parking if you are willing to hike in. We prefer the more relaxed dining atmosphere in the bar over the stuffy dining area and you will need reservations even for the bar.

From the hostesses’ greeting to the managers’ table side check-in, we were well cared for. The food presentation was beautiful done and tasted delicious. I highly recommend the sesame crusted tuna. And the desserts… just WOW. We also really enjoyed the ambiance.

Delicious 🤤. The lobster 🦞 bisque was world winning. It was so good that I took a to-go for the next day. The waiter Arty was amazing and very informative. I got the surf and turf with the stuffed colossal shrimp, home made mashed potatoes and the creamy spinach. Everything was amazing. They gave me a free bottle of champagne for my birthday and for cake and chocolate moose. I was happy 😊. Everything was so delicious.

Exceptional experience. Service was amazing. I had steak (medium). It came out perfect the first time. Someone recommended calamari for appetizer so we had that. It was very delicious. Best thing about the whole experience was the price. We spent ~$100/person for a great experience. I will definitely recommend the place and i will be revisiting soon. There is a dress code btw. 5 star restaurant for sure. Only thing I would note is the $5 valet. Not the money part ,but I didn't have cash and had to put it on my corporate card.

Absolutely outstanding experience! From the impeccable service to the exquisite flavors, every moment was a culinary delight. The ambiance exudes sophistication, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the extensive wine selection complemented the meal flawlessly. The staff's attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly elevated the evening. A five-star gem for anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience in Tysons!

My wife and I came here for the first time. Excellent service. Rich, our waiter, was super friendly and great. The food was great. The double cut bacon was delicious. The lobster bisque was great and it was chunky. We had the kona-crusted strip steak and the porcini crusted rib eye. Delicious meats. The asparagus was okay. The creme brulee was okay, average, but the coconut cream pie was good. The cream pie is big, and definitely enough for 2, maybe 3 people. Enjoyed the cocktails (in fashion, blackberry sidecar) and wine. Will be back.

No surprise, great experience! Food and drink were phenomenal, from bone-in ribeye to mushrooms to brussels to clam chowder. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for and if you're traveling, like me, you can't make it yourself.

This location has a beautiful atmosphere. Classy and elegant. We came here for a celebration. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Dinner, apps, desserts and drinks we WONDERFUL. However, our waitress brought all of our salads out separately, so half of our party was done with salads and the other half had just received theirs when dinner came out. Same with desserts. Just a little unorganized.

I was gifted a gift card so we celebrated our engagement here. We were seated right away, at a quiet table, and the waitress came right over to take our drink order. We had delicious soup which arrived hot and quickly. The lobster bisque was the special and it was so good. I never had so much lobster in a soup that was tender and tasty. The French onion was almost black and it was so rich! The bread basket was overflowing with choices and each one was flavorful and fresh. The onion focaccia was my favorite. We ordered our main course from the chef’s selection section. I had the sliced filet with wild mushrooms, some kind of onions, and a fig sauce of sorts. I personally thought the mushrooms and onions were just ok and I sauce didn’t taste like much bc the mushrooms “sweated” and the sauce was extra runny. BUT the steak was sooooo delicious!!!! I didn’t even know I was chewing it bc it was so tender. The flavor was perfect- not too salty and definitely savory. Tim had the tenderloin and lobster. It was amazing as well. The tenderloin was cooked perfect and the small lobsters were so sweet and tender. We loved both dishes. For sides we got half mashed potatoes and half creamed corn. The mashed potatoes were good but the corn was so different. It wasn’t runny or even mushy. It was like corn off the cob with a hint of cream, some butter, and bacon. It was so delicious I wish I had a full order! We got a fabulous little surprise dessert of some kind of cheesecake and some kind of chocolate cake (maybe crème brûlée cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake). They came with fresh fruit and a little whipped cream. Delicious. It said “Happy Anniversary” because they didn’t have “Happy engagement”! We even received a photo card to commemorate our engagement!! So cool!!! Our waitress, Lourdes, was spot on! She made us feel special and was attentive, without being in our faces. We will be back and we will bring friends! Thank you, Capital Grille, for a wonderful dining experience.

Let me tell you something as a Google guide, this place was amazing from the interior to the service, to the food and ambience...my wife and I drove from Virginia Beach and was worth the drive to say the least...Maurice was our server and I swear it was like talking to my brother he was so cool and attentive to our needs and explainined everything in detail to us. Other servers also engaged and were awsome but Maurice was fantastic! Now the food...we ordered Greek salad, Seafood Plateau Platter, filet migon and the Porcini-Rubbed Bone in Ribeye with 15 year aged balsimic glaze! All phenomenal including the bread! You will pay a nice price but you definitely get what you pay for here! Absolutely a must for steak and seafood lovers!

Awesome fancy place in Tysons. The food is great, very raffinee and service is great too and the dessert very delicious. The filet mignon and NY steak is great. I tried the salmon glazed and they are very yummy. The merlot red wine is a plus. After all its a five star restaurant in the area

Consistently good food and classy service. Perfect for small plates as well as big steaks and tasty table sides. Our favorites are the French onion soup (nobody makes it better) and the truffle fries (well balanced taste and fried to perfection). This time, close to Christmas there was a full house, but the staff took great care of us even when there was a delay in the kitchen. Always 100 percent satisfaction.
