Had issues with Trainers. Canceled after first session still was charged initial payment plus first month payment. I still don’t think they canceled both accounts. They completely rely on the UFC name to charge extremely high prices for subpar training. The trainers are more interested in promoting their fights then training the kids. Safety of the kids is an an afterthought during training.

Shady front desk employee. I signed up in 11/21. Went to lessons for a couple months. Life got busy so I stopped. I kept my membership open in case I could return. I went in person 9/21 to cancel my membership. The big guy at the front desk explained I could freeze my account instead. He said (and I wrote down what he said and showed him to verify it was correct) my account would be frozen October, November, & December with no monthly charge. If I wanted to cancel before I started getting charged again to did in December to prevent being charged in January. Today I went in to cancel my account. He said I would get charged for December and it would cancel in January. I told him that's not what he told me and he should've told me I'd be charged again. He said "you didn't ask". Excuse me but that was the whole part of the conversation canceling and making sure I don't get charged. He would not stop. I told him to just stop going on and on about it. He said I was arguing with him. I told him he needs to stop talking about it and trying to keep it going. He said I can't tell him what to do. His signing machine wasn't working so he pulled out a cancelation paper for me to sign. I sign and date it 11-5-22. Then he signs it and dates it 1-1-23. As if I agreed to that date. So I began to write that I didn't agree to that on the paper and he snatches it from me and says I'm not allowed to change or write on it only allowed to take a picture of it. All in all the character, behavior, shady dealings, I won't be recommending this place anymore as I have been.

Stay away from this place. They will take money even after you leave and cancel. Just look at past reviews. They claim to be under new management, but it seems to be the same practices. Ed the general manager is one of the most unprofessional business managers I have dealt with in my life. How this guy keeps his job is beyond me.

They really leave out all the little details of course. Why when you cancel the subscription they charge you for the next month. Clearly I'm canceling cause I don't want to go anymore. Then I wanted to cancel it but they don't let you cancel over the phone (I was out of town a long time) so I had to pay for months I wasn't going. I can't even tell you how many months I've paid for that i didn't actually go to the gym. Especially during the pandemic when they refused to stop charging my account.Make it make sense.

Ed, D’Angelo, Rico,and the whole UFC Woodbridge team have been friends and trainers of mine for years now. They got me into BJJ and boxing, have been attentive to any issues I’ve had at the facility, and make the atmosphere enjoyable and challenging. I feel very grateful my first MMA gym was at such a great place. Can’t recommend enough.

Exercise equipment needs updating and various ones need to be added. Super expensive registration fee and membership for no reason. No amenities. Cool coaches, overall just wasn't worth the $.

Everyone here is friendly and tightnit. Kid friendly...even has youth classes! Ed the manager is very helpful and the trainers push you to the limit and answer any and all questions to help you reach your goal. Good hip-hop music (occasional reggae and other genres too) keep you motivated. Has punching bags speed bags weights treadmill uppercut bag pull up bar etc. Everything to get u tight!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been a Boxing practitioner for more than half my life (50 years young!). UFC Woodbridge is an extremely warm and engaging gym that offers everything for boxers at almost every level. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. I have been training my son there for the past few years to get him ready for competition. I would highly recommend the gym to any practitioner as they have a beautiful elevated ring, speed bags, double end bags and pretty much anything else a boxer needs to train seriously.

Awesome gym, amazing instructors really patient and encouraging and the classes are fun too!

Just a money grab gym. Don’t try and change gyms or leave the state because they won’t let you leave without driving back to the gym in person and cancelling the membership. Failure group of people. Failure gym. Fix your “ SYSTEM “ that doesn’t let you stop charging cards because of a “ 30 day notice “. Teachers were mediocre and didn’t look happy to be there. Waste of my time and money. Don’t go here.

UFC Woodbridge has had my back since 2017. Once I joined UFC, I knew I was not going to get bored like I had gotten at all other gyms. I’m grateful to have given them a chance to get in shape. The coaches and workouts are challenging and uplifting-seeing myself grow in strength and abilities has made me extremely happy about my health and overall self-confidence. I recommend anyone and everyone to check it out.

UFC Gym Woodbridge is now a constant in my family's routine. My son trains with Coach Ben and in less than a year, he's gone from having zero boxing skills to competing in the Virginia State silver glove amateur tournament. The gym is filled with kind people and encouragement. Coach Ben demonstrates patience and knowledge and works with fighters to develop their strengths and improve their weaknesses. Under his guidance, my son has developed a level of confidence and fitness that we didn't realize he could achieve. Many thanks to Coach Ben and UFC Gym on a job well done.

This place is amazing! The class I went to was so difficult but I can get there with conditioning. They are amazing at what they do! And if you're a first timer they will wrap your hands and help you out.

This place changed my life, nots not just a gym. Its a community!! :D

I’ve been coming to UFC Woodbridge for 2 years and I absolutely love it! Every single coach has motivated me in different ways to help me reach my fitness goals. I vary my workouts with coach-led classes and my own workouts during off class times. I definitely recommend this place for both the beginner and seasoned athlete!

1. The trainers have good knowledge of their discipline. 2. The facility is always clean and organized. 3. The classes are challenging and are always a good workout. 4. There are many options to workout if you don't want to do a class. 5. The gym hours of operation fit a variety of schedules. 6. The atmosphere is top notch with tremendous camaraderie. If you're looking for workout that can push you to your limits while offering the flexibility to fit your fitness level as needed, THIS IS IT. We're approaching the two year mark of when we first joined and I don't see us leaving any time soon. We've tried almost every gym in the area and this is the only one we can't see ourselves doing without.

Joined the gym in May 2022. I’ve had a great experience at the gym. Plenty of opportunities to learn from the coaches and other members. Would recommend personal training as it has been the single most helpful aspect of attending. Motivational atmosphere and uplifting people trying to help one another out. Join if you’re ready to train different.

I have been trying to cancel my membership since the pandemic and Woodbridge UFC still auto charges my account. The manager requested to come in person to sign the cancellation request and refused to do it over the phone or by email. I did come over in person and signed it but they still charge me every month.

New to va from Ohio! I love everything about this gym. Great coaches , clean environment, good equipment! I couldn’t ask for more

I consider it to be the best gym I have ever been to in my life, all the teachers are very attentive to all the students, they give you a lot of advice, the atmosphere is very good, I speak little English and they still always manage to communicate with me, I am very grateful to everyone and I recommend it 100%, if you are a person who really wants to learn martial arts, if you have commitment and perseverance this is the best place to exploit your skills, it is very well equipped and always in good cleanliness which seems important to me as well
