In A Nutshell: -La Cuchara is the spot to go to if you want to enjoy a typical Nicaraguan desayuno. -The scrambled eggs, gallo pinto, sweet plantain, homemade chilero & Nicaraguan coffee were perfect to start the day. -It's located on a busy street corner in Mango City aka Rivas. Overall, the openess allows fresh air to flow through while you eat.

Hot food in a clean establishment at a good price.

This is my favorite place to eat in Rivas. Lots of variety and the food is consistently delicious. The homemade chilero is my favorite in all of Nicaragua.

Definitely over priced. The food was less than okay. Meat is overcooked, and fried fish is wet. Almost no vegetables when I was there. Even in SJDS, the buffet is cheaper and by far tastier. Seems a lot of folks like it, but I am not sure the fuss. Won't be back.
