Very helpful and kind staff, also tries to get the scammers of you. Food was great! Even the most simple pasta tasted amazing! Maybe one of the best pastas I've had.

Nice comfortable place, rather simple. Polite and professional service. Meals are not OK but for the prices I would expect a bit better. The sign of “vegetarian meals from 3 USD” is misleading as except for breakfast they cost a more. In summary, a good place to have a meal waiting for the ferry but rather tourist prices.

We have been travelling for 4weeks and here we got the best chicken we’ve got so far:) really can recommend the restaurant!! Also got a lot of delicious vegetarian options. The stuff is really nice!

Good place for a quick bite if you're waiting for the next ferry to leave in San Jorge. We ordered a chicken sandwich which was tasty but quite difficult to eat without the meat falling down. Fast and friendly service and great views on the lake and Ometepe Island

That was the best Italian food we had outside Italy, and maybe even better than some restaurants in Europe. Chef is Italian and the seafood is really fresh. With a nice view of Ometepe island too. It's a good stop over while waiting for your boat as it's just outside the port entrance.

We had two delicious pastas here after getting off the ferry. The owner was extremely welcoming and went out of his way to make sure we got the right bus to Rivas. A really lovely place to visit sitting on the deck in the sun overlooking the beach.

We had 3 Spaghetti carbonaras and they were so bad. The Spaghettis were not done, the bacon was burned and the portions were very small. Unfortunately not recommended.

The solid reviews are no joke. Stopped for lunch returning from Ometepe and it was as good as advertised. Simple yet excellent meals, and great service. It may look like just another spot, but I wouldn't skip it.

Nice place to wait for the ferry (they got the perfect spot xD) and vegan options available !! Staff was aware and helpful, food is good and cheap, we tried the aglio e olio spaghettis, really good for 3$ !!

Nice enough plate of spaghetti But don’t be fooled, you can’t just roll up onto the ferry with 15 mins to spare [as our host assured us] ! Felt a bit conned tbh

Oh man was I in for a surprise! The place looks like any rugged seafood resturant you can find along coastlines. The view was decent of island ometepe. But the food was so surprisingly good. I ordered the most common thing you can order. A carbonara. I thought it was going to be like any other standard resturant carbonara. But man was I wrong. The first bit I took I could immediately tell this was made by someone with Italian knowledge. In the end it turned out I was right. The owner was indeed Italian. The food was top tier. They even serve nica style breakfast if you're into something more cheap local style food. But definitely go for the Italian dishes if you miss Europe. You get the full experience in the food.

Fantastic location on the water and the owner has some amazing stories and even better better collection of currency’s! So interesting 😍 food was delicious and since it’s Italian made it’s bloody perfect! Visit at night and a taxi is a call away.
