I have been to the Casa Del Cafe before in Managua. This was an unplanned but great stop on our way back from San Juan Del Sur. I took some coffee beans back to the US.

Internet and great iced coffee treats. Not cheap but not expected. Great meeting spot at the Rivas crossroads.

Definitely the best coffee house in Rivas and really the only one. What I like best is the friendly staff that know how to prepare the drinks properly. They make a very good micro foam for the cappuccino and lattes. The seating arrangement has some comfortable options. The location is easy to enter from the hiway but it can be tricky to exit unless you know the back way out. There are the usual benefits of a/c, wifi, clean bathrooms, and secure parking. The food looks delicious but I haven't haven't yet sampled anything because it seems I am always this dreaded diet.

Used to be better until the menu was downsized. The food they do still have is pretty good.
