It’s gotta be a no from me. The only person/business that tried to rip me and my wife off , the entire time in Germany, is from an American ex-pat. It’s sad really, we had thought we found a good acquaintance …being generally from the same region as us. We ordered 4 drinks.. average in Potsdam for the week has been about 5.5-6.5 Euros. He verbally told us 41 Euros, no itemized receipt. Okay, we gave him 50… sit and wait 25 minutes thinking change is coming.. he went about his business and ducked out to hang outside. Excuse me, can we have our change? His response.. oh, I thought you wanted me to have it. Did he think he could take advantage of foreigners? We weren’t intoxicated. We aren’t playing that. Every other business owner in our travels has been open, honest and never attempted to pull one over on us. We are sorry this quality of American slipped into the scene.

Joseph is so friendly (great surprise!) and the food was so delicious and flavorful. Such a cozy gem in the middle of touristy Potsdam!

An American with an Italian heart - awesome pasta dishes with truffle and unique creations.. Very inexpensive for what they offer... Plus, wonderful wines to just sit and chill

What a remarkable find. Our group stumbled among this intimate eatery one night and found one of the delights of our trip. When you first walk in you are taken by the aroma of fresh ingredients blended in unique ways. We sat down and were personally greeted by chef Josef. After a few moments of chatting he recommended some spirits based on our preferences. Each drink was perfectly to our liking. We quickly entrusted him to bring us whatever food he would recommend we try. From a shrimp and Parmesan topped bread to a variety of fresh and unique pasta dishes each bite an experience that gave evidence of his culinary prowess. We will certainly be back and this restaurant comes highly recommended.

It's a very cute classy place, excellent service, Joseph will personally help you decide what you're in the mood for. If you love truffle then this is heaven for you! The tiramisu is amazing ♥️!

Joe and his staff are the coolest and nicest people I have met in Potsdam. His cooking is some of the best I've had in my travels. It's not your normal place with a set menu and hours, but Joe will do his best to accommodate any request. No matter what he creates it's always 5 star cuisine.

The best Italian food I've had in a long time. High quality and delicious. Plus meeting the chef was a pleasure. A restaurant with character and soul that you don't find everywhere.
