Excellent and authentic Thai food. It is easily as good as the best food we enjoyed during a trip to Thailand. Beautifully decorated interior and friendly service. Also, prices are reasonable. For example, the delicious vegetarian Pad Thai costs £6.50. Almost every dish has a vegetarian option and each dish is complemented by an artistically crafted edible flower sculpture, for example carved out of a carrot. A must visit for anyone visiting Cheshunt and interested in Asian cuisine.

Midweek meal with my wife. The small but cosy seating arrangement and friendly front of house member of staff (Mary) set the scene. The food was INCREDIBLY tasty and plentiful. We had wine and the price was very reasonable. We'll go again.

Really good Thai restaurant. Would not expect such a thing in such a place! Our Green and Red currys were both very good. The tempura were super crunchy. Staff is really nice and helpfull.

The food is great. The tamarind duck was perfectly cooked and not too sweet. The coconut rice was delicious and the beef massaman was anogher great choice. Unfortunately there was only one waitress so she was a little overworked but still gave great service. We'll definitely be visiting Mai Thai again.

I used to live in Thailand, so my expectations may be higher than others. There is more to Thai food than Pad Thai.... The staff were friendly, I could rate them 5 stars. The resteraunt was not that busy, given it was Friday night. The food flavours were representative of Thai food, but far from authentic and not as strong as I would have hoped. Also, the chilli rating which indicates the spice level is not present in the food, nothing was remotely spicy (and I usually sweat at the first sign of spice). Even the hot sauce I received on request was just a tangy sauce, not at all Thai. This was a shame as the menu has Thai names for the food, so I had high expectations. I have had far more authentic Thai food in North London. Also, the meat was a bit sparse, with more onions and veg than meat in the stir fry dishes. The decor looks rather Asian, I liked the place mats. Plus they have Chang beer, which is difficult to find in UK supermarkets. You can visit here for a nice meal I guess, but do not walk away believing the food is authentic. I would likely not return, on this basis.

Delicious food and great portions. I usually order delivery from here but decided to sit in and it was lovely. Really friendly staff and excellent service. Definitely one of the best places in Cheshunt!

Excellent reviews ... but poor food. We were looking forward to our takeaway based on all the reviews. The dumplings were stodgy.The pad thai had little chicken, no peanuts and was the wore we'd ever had The The Pad Priew was disappointing. Sadly, we won't be ordering again.

Visited multiple times and it just does not let you down. Taste really authentic, especially green curry. On top of that, very well priced. My fav in Cheshunt!

Went for lunch and the two course deal is amazing value. We had satay chicken, prawn toast, massaman curry and green curry. Everything had great flavour. It's a very clean restaurant with lovely staff who were so kind about my little girl. I wish it were my local. This place deserves the best of success.

Flavour and Food was incredibly good, very authentic and worth going

An absolute gem hidden in plain sight. We've been passing this place daily for years, went in once and it has instantly become our favourite Thai restaurant. Small but perfectly formed place, always pleasant staff, very reasonable prices and delicious food. What more can one ask for?

Got a take away and it was amazing especially the duck salad. The service was great and the food was ready very quickly. Really loving the new menu 10/10 will be back
