Good size carpark (£3 a day). A small "beach" area between 2 public moorings and then an expanse of grassy banks with waterside views. A small child's play area suitable for 8 to 12's maybe. Canoe hire, a small food stall (ice cream, tea, coffee, sausage rolls and cold drinks) and a campsite. All in all a lovely place to be.

Not a very long walk. 40 minutes slow walk round but very quiet and peaceful. Ok dog walk with lovely coffee shop and kids play area. Can park boat or drive!

Gorgeous spot to launch water craft or just to paddle/swim and have a picnic. There's a warden shed where you can hire canoes & kayaks at very reasonable hourly rates. Some stunning wildlife to be seen out on the water and just a generally nice atmosphere. My only dislike was the walk from the main car park to the broad, it was a bit longer than expected but is otherwise fairly suitable for those with disabilities.

First time we tried this campground. And we really loved it. It is perfect for those who want a completely silent environment and those who want to relax. We stayed 2 nights and miss it already. toilet cleaning was handled according to the campsite. And the blue-eyed lady in charge there was very kind ❤️🥰 we loved it so much. it helped us a lot. I will definitely try again at the first opportunity🙏 A quiet and safe place for children. There is a large area for them to play comfortably. And we rented a canoe, it was great to experience it. The only downside for us was the wasps. Of course, for those who are used to it, it will not be a problem. In the evening we lit our fire and just looked at the stars😌Of course, a big thank you to our neighbors who have tents next to us. they were also a very good Irish family. we hope to see you again🙏overall comfortable and peaceful.

Great place to drop anchor if your out on the Norfolk Broads. Plenty of stern on mooring. Water top up as part of your mooring fee. Nice beach area for paddling or if you're feeling adventurous take out a paddle board or kayak. Refreshments available at the Otter Cafe a short walk form the mooring.

A, good sized pay and display car park, followed by a ten minute walk down an easy path. Lots of places to launch paddleboards etc, just don't use the jetty or you'll get told off for not having insurance.....! Some great paddleboarding available to give you an insight into the Broads. I think their is a snack shack there too but I didn't visit it.

We hired a canoe for three hours. We had so much fun and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The gentleman who got us into our lifejackets and set us up for travel was particularly good. He answered all my 5 year olds questions and went out of his way to be accommodating. Thanks for a great value forever memory.

lovely walk from the carpark, about 10 mins to the Broad. Food and drink available from the pub at the top of the Hill and also a snack bar at the top of the grassy bank. Access to the water for dogs is great. Great moorings for boats. we turned left when we reached the Broad but couldn't walk much further. Not sure if you can walk along the Broad if you turn right

Really short trail with my dog. She loves water so it was good she could swim 🐾🐕‍🦺 Half of the deck trail was broken so we couldn’t walk much. Paid car park so I would recommend paying max 1 hr. 1 hr gives you enough time to walk the path 4 times.

2nd time we have visited the broads in the last 2 years. This was a must stop for me. Good fishing and so quiet. It was such a good place to Moore up over night. Darkness like you will never experience

Never been here before, wasnt sure what to expect. The postcode took me to the council car park. I phoned the mobile number and got directions back up the road onto a small back road and then followed a track to the campsite. The camp supervisor I believe was also the ranger renting out the water sports equipment at the bottom of the hill. The chap was very friendly and wandered up and sorted out the paperwork. I came on a good night, Sunday night, not many people camping. I had a nice wander along the footpaths near the water and also into Salhouse. The Stag pub seemed very popular for pizzas so I can only guess they are good!

I've always enjoyed visiting Salhouse Broad having grown up in the area. I've had to reluctantly drop a star due to parking charges that have been introduced. I understand the need to raise revenue where possible but I also believe that areas like this should be free for all to visit and due to the location it isn't very accessible by other means other than bicycle due to a lack of pavements.

Lovely place to sit and watch boats and water birds . No facilities so pee before you go! toilets in the car park before you set off on a lovely walk through the woods. Look out for the old hollow trees , they are beautiful Coffee and cakes are available.

Went paddleboarding off the beach, water is dirty to say the least, not much room on the beach, very busy, too many motor boats and quite a walk from the car park with paddleboards. It could be a nice spot in the quieter months maybe.

Really peaceful place to visit. We were on our boat holiday and moored up for the night. Short walk from the broad to the Fur and Feather pub which is a lovely gastropub. If on a boating holiday, would recommend this for a stop point.

We had a lovely day at Salhouse broad. The ranger team are very friendly and welcoming. We moored overnight for a £10 fee which is well worth it. You get access to water and waste recycling included in the fee. There's canoeing a kayaking hire available. We hired a canoe and the team were excellent at running through the safety information and getting us out on the water. If you're in the area or on a boating holiday on the broads, I can highly recommend you making at stop at Salhouse.

Lovely little place, nice short walk with a large open space to run around in an a good area where yourp dog can have a swim or just a splash about. The Hungry Otter is a must for your refreshments. Don't trust the parking machine it took my payment but didn't give a ticket, pay by phone if you can.

One of the prettiest natural Broads, not much going on but that's the point. Just you and the ducks. Reasonable number of stern to moorings and overflow moorings outside if busy. Water but not power. Coffee stall up by the campsite, a bit of a walk to the nearest shops but along pleasant lanes.

Lovely area. We went Kayaking and Paddleboarding and really enjoyed our time out on the water though it is a very busy stretch. Water is a good 10 minute walk from the carpark.

Great moorings . But for £10 I think more water outlets should be installed. There is not enough hose to reach all along. With it being busy the option of moving along isn't an option
