10 stars! ✨ I really enjoyed this restaurant and even though I live miles away, I shall look for reasons to return! So, what was so great about my experience? The venue had a lovely warm ambience, I felt like I was in Cyprus, the staff (and owner) were lovely and the food 🍲, my goodness, it was superb! 😃 👌 I think this is a great spot for couples, friends and family. It had such a good vibe and as you can see from the pics, the food looks so fresh and appetising. 😋 Definitely worth a visit.

I am not a review kind of person but I need to just let everyone know that this is the best Greek food and service you will get in London! Don’t bother with anywhere else, I’ve tried them all and ; 1. Every other Greek restaurant in North & East London has moody waiters , owners who act like they are doing YOU a favour by being there. Nissi on the other hand have the nicest, friendly and warm waitresses and owners. You always feel welcome and at home.. 2. I have eaten at EVERY Greek restaurant in London and the food at Nissi is quite simply the best …. Best Meze, best meat, best fish and 100% best Calamari !!! I am Greek myself and the one thing I really miss from the Greek Islands is the Calamari and in all my years the only Calamri in London that taste authentically Greek and comes close to Greek Island Calamari is Nissi. The flavour is perfect and it is cooked in fresh oil , not burnt oil like the rubbish you get in other Greek restaurants. 3. And FINALLY you get value for money , they don’t try to rip you off , they don’t charge you £12 for a Greek salad that is full of lettuce leaves and has two bit of feta on it … Like I said , not a review kind of person but for anyone who doesn’t know which Greek restaurant in north & east London to go to, GO TO NISSI, you will not be disappointed!!! I am proud to say that NISSI represents GREEK hospitality and GREEK food, the other places in London , not so much ( Desiree, Blue Olive , A touch of Greek, Friskardo etc ) …

This restaurant offers a very high standard of Authentic Greek Food. You have a choice if ordering your own food or having a Meze where you will be given waves of food staggered one after the other. The first wave consists of cold starters with multiple Greek dips and bread (make sure you don’t fill up on the bread). Followed by hot starters of grilled Halloumi. Then high quality fish such as grilled skewers of sword fish, deep fried Calamri and charcoal grilled octopus. Then finally skewers of juicy chicken and pork (souvlaki). To top it off you will receive some rose water and vanilla ice cream. The food was wonderful and the staff was attentive to our needs. Atmosphere was a though you were transported to a Greek island with Greek music in the background you nearly forget you are in London. Well worth a visit.

Went on a Monday evening as part of the 'eat out to help out' scheme. Busy, but still taking practical precautions on social distancing. The food here is really exceptional, everything was better than expected - fresh and beautifully prepared. Staff attentive and efficient. We had the (huge) meze platter for 2 so we could try lots of things. Thoroughly recommend it, especially if it's your first time here, as you get a good selection, and not just the cheap things either - swordfish, crayfish and octopus are all included. Genuine 5 stars.

Amazing food and great quality. Quick and friendly service too. Atmosphere is very loud and tight tables but lovely simple decor and very clean We had a few meze starters, main each and shared sides and still paid £50pp which is top end for greek food

Nice food although the portions are way too small for the premium they charge. If you're skinny and eat tiny portions you'll love this place. If you're Greek and looking for a slap-up meal order twice. No atmosphere either....

The food is authentic and definitely very good. Not a huge amount of choices but you get great ones nonetheless. Nothing extraordinary but I would definitely return, the food is above average, the customer service is very good, the interior is nice and comfy. Overall, a high 4 star restaurant.

I have been here for the second time and I can say it was really good in both occasions. If you are not sure what to get, the tasting menu will give you a good idea of how great their food is. Generous portions and really attentive service. Loved it and will be back for sure!

The service was great but the food was average, there are better Greek flavours in Palmer's Green and bang for your buck.

Wow have not been here for years but people kept on telling me the food was out of this world so my wife and I thought we would give it a try. The restaurants decor is very nice and so were the staff. We both ordered Mezes as this is what we normally have when we go to any Greek restaurant so that we can compare the different styles and quality of foods that are given to us. So their starters (the dips) were not that great in my opinion but they were not horrible either there were just a few of them I did not like but the presentation was amazing. The next round of dishes that came out and the ones after that were absolutely amazing. They brought out a large salad with the starters which was a good touch my wife liked this because she said that it was nice to eat salad with all the different meals. What blew me away was the octopus, calamari. jumbo King prawns. They were tasty soft and very enjoyable to eat and the jumbo prawns well they were jumbo. The last platter was a sea bream and swordfish. The sea bream was thick and meaty and tasty and the swordfish was soft and amazingly tasty also. I will be definitely going back to the restaurant again as for me and my wife it is all about the food and the service.

Lovely food in a vibrant restaurant. Good quality ingredients well cooked and the best chips bar none! It’s the Cypriot potatoes apparently!!! Highly recommend the lunch menu which is superb value. Nice Greek salad too. Always busy which is testament to the place.

Tried this place for the first time last night and was blown away by the variety of food and attention we got from the staff. Fantastic! Despite visiting during at a busy time (Sunday lunch), our experience was faultless. Fresh, great quality produce cooked to perfection. Clean, modern interiors and professional service. Highly recommend.

Good food, and lots of it with the meze, but it all seems a bit rushed. Food keeps being brought to the table before you've finished what you've got on your plate and the table ends up very crowded. Still good though.

Top top quality food. Great for birthdays, celebrations or just for a lunch with friends. Service always great, decor too. Food presented beautifully and tastes as good as it looks.

Excellent food, really tasty. Best Greek food I have eaten in this area and there are a lot of Greek places . Was very busy, which is always a good sign but unfortunately that makes it very noisy- otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Good value too.

Such yummy food! Wonderful staff and service! Not shy to say that I have been twice this week (it is holiday time!) When we went as a family, my 6 year old commented that he liked chocolate ice cream...within two minutes Louisa (out waitress) brought him a Magnum ice cream! She didn't need to but she did! So lovely, we are Nissi fans! Thank you.

Very nice food and a pleasant atmosphere, huge selection of food from meat to fish.

Great food and first rate service. The lamb cutlets were divine, the grilled octopus was cooked to perfection and rose ice cream was the perfect dessert, it was light but full of flavour and refreshing. 😋

Exceptionally good! Delicious food that teleported me back to summer holidays, lovely decor, friendly and attentive staff and great being able to see the chefs! Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back soon! 🌟

Highly recommend food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Fried Calamari and Cyprus Chips definitely lived up to the hype. Extensive wine list and rose ice cream was also a bonus. Will be coming back asap
