Carmelo’s is a lovely Italian coffee house and eatery located in London Colney. It has a nice interior with colourful designs and the aroma of coffee and Italian cuisine. It also has small tables outside. The menu is refreshing and offers breakfast lunch and brunch. The food on offer is great , freshly prepared by the chef. Carmelo’s pizzas are highly recommended and offer traditional and contemporary styles. From Italian style treats to a nice glass of Italian white wine Carmelo’s has a lot to offer. The staff are friendly and attentive. Carmelo’s offers that Mediterranean taste , a small sample of the coffee house lifestyle that’s so great. Carmelo’s is a wonderful place and a must for anyone who enjoys Italian cuisine.

Myself and my daughter arranged a surprise birthday for my wife for 30 people, we had a GREAT night, despite the large group of friends all the meals came out together and everything was hot, and the food was superb with plenty of choice to suit everyone's requirements. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff, even the chef came out to sing happy birthday to my wife. Ample parking in the street and a large free car park behind the restaurant. Went here for brunch with a friend and my skinny caramel latte was amazing, as was the granola with yoghurt and fruits. It could have done with a bit more yoghurt in it but apart from that it was well worth going to. I was surprised at how busy it was considering it was a Sunday late morning but clearly it's popular and I can understand why. Staff are friendly and our food came very quickly. Definitely worth going to again.

The most amazing food and people. One of the best cafes ever. The owners are the nicest people I have ever met and the food is fresh, tasty, lots of it and the cosy very clean atmosphere makes you never want to leave. Fresh pizzas a must.

If you want to have a great breakfast, this is the right place to visit! The food is fresh, drinks are nice and the atmosphere makes you feel good with nice music in the background. You have to visit!

From me,a five star review. Without a doubt! The coffee is fantastic, the food is even better In my opinion. When you stop off here, though it may seem slightly expensive (which is normal for every independent business in this district). You will find exceptional value for money. For me, this is the epitome of independent businesses. Fantastic quality, great feel. A pure joy to be of locality too. The fact that a member of staff left to source ingredients for an "off menu" request. Was the tip top for me.. this is service you will never find at Starbucks or Costa. Also, never can you expect to eat a pizza as great as Carmelo's from either of the pre-mentioned franchise's... This is proper pizza, definitely try it. Thank you Carmelo's, I'll see you again soon.

I have been eating at Carmelos for 4 or 5 years, I've always enjoyed good service, polite and friendly. I very much enjoy the breakfast menu, highly recommending the Veggie Plate (delicious vegetarian breakfast). They have a pizza oven and that is my favourite food here the Diavolo pizza being by go-to, but with their Italian chef, you can rely on good, tasty authentic food. I'll certainly continue to dine here.

Amazing, simply amazing. Food is top notch, cosy yet spacious, very friendly staff, pizza was sublime, simple yet FRESH and delicious. Definitely going back to try the rest of menu. It’s just impossible to be disappointed if you tried.

Unfortunately we have since had a very disappointing experience. Placed an online order for delivery. Waited 80 minutes. Phoned for an update where the chap was very rude to me saying he had no driver and couldn't deliver. I explained I wasn't to know that and if he'd phoned me I would have collected. He said he was too busy and even suggested he was burning other customers food whilst having to talk to me. Won't use again after being spoken to like that! Previous review that we gave 5 stars to We trusted Carmelo’s to cater our party. We popped in and chatted to them and they advised correctly how many pizza’s we’d need. They reliably delivered 9 pizza every hour for three hours. The pizzas arrived hot and intact and were a big hit with our guests. Tasty authentic pizza from friendly staff.

One of our favourite places to eat. The staff are the most friendly and accommodating people who just want you to enjoy yourself! Food is always incredible and the pizza is a 10/10! Always such a lovely time. Would 100% recommend visiting.

I visited this place by chance while away on business and cannot get enough of this fabulous place. I will drive from our of town just to come back most definitely. Vincenzo the chef is a true Italian chef to the core. The food was simply beautiful. Elegant design of the dishes was wonderful. He was kind enough to make something for me off the menu. The dish was done to perfection.! Bravo Vincenzo. Fabulous service to boot. I will definitely be coming back again. Thanks again.

Had a great breakfast roll one of us had bacon the other had sausage. There was 2 sausages in the roll nicely flavoured and decent size, plenty of bacon also served with a very small amount of salad garnish. We also had a latte each, would highly recommend both for service and friendliness of staff. Place was absolutely spotless and was cleared and cleaned quickly after each use. Will definitely be visiting again.

Loved it; the food, ambiance, staff and the chef!! We had such an amazing experience. The chef's special, tiramisu is a must try. Will visit soon again to try more dishes in the menu.
