Beautiful place to visit, a wonderful place to walk around and see all the hard work put in by the team with the up keep of everything. Been coming here for years now and is always a pleasure to walk around. There is a little café and toilets too. Plenty of history dotted around for the people interested.

Lived in Enfield for most of my life and didn't even know this place was here. A friend of mine took me here and it's beautiful. They have blue badge parking, and a beautiful little cafe. The grounds are lovely and lot's of history. Im definitely going to visit again.

Excellent. We went to the Halloween Pumpkin Hunt (in Oct half term) and it was good (not busy). You walk around the grounds looking for pumpkins. The parking is only £2.50, with free entry. It has a small café. The place is clean and tidy, the staff were friendly. Overall very good.

We visited in winter and there was so much to see, much more than some gardens that we have visited that were boasting about winter colour. There are snowdrops everywhere! The greenhouses are probably the best cared for greenhouses I have ever seen, someone clearly loves them. We will be back in the summer! This is a great place to spend a couple of hours and you only have to pay £2.50 to park!

This is a hidden jewel. I was surprised by the large number of exotic plants in this park. You can see everything from exotic flowers, to different types of bamboo, to large sequoias. The plant species are from all ofer the world, from the Americas to Asia and Australia.

Beautiful beautiful place! A true hidden gem. Have lived around this area for over 10 years and had never visited this place. Went there as an Art excursion. Loved the place and atmosphere. Beautiful and quiet. Lovely place to unwind and relax. The gardens are maintained so very beautiful. There is a cafe too if you fancy a hot drink. Perfect place for a family picnic or just for a solitary walk/day out away from the busy noisy life. Would definitely go there again. Very tranquil place for relaxing meditation or reflection.

A very nice mature garden to visit which is free to to enter. Very interesting history of the Bowls family and how in the past there was a medicinal garden used for research. Springtime lots interest. Small visitors centre and nice cafe.

I've been coming here regularly for years....Not having a back garden, it's where I go whenever I seek peace and inspiration. It's a great place to go to watch the changing seasons; there is always something new to see. I particularly like the kitchen garden where I can happily sit for ages and soak up the fresh scent of the vegetables and herbs. Each area of the garden has its own unique character, with lots of quiet corners to explore. The cafe on site is also excellent.

Lovely gardens. It has everything you want from a garden, trees, flowers, greenhouses, orchard, vegetable garden, lake, Enfield market cross and many more. All set in a delightful layout and not too big, so you can comfortably access all the gardens. Also has a nice tea room with a varied menu. Highly recommended.

Well worth a visit all year round. Gorgeous curated gardens, greenhouses were a highlight. So well looked after. Feel like you are far from London! Lovely cafe, good service and easy to get round, plus reasonable priced hot food and drinks. Free entry. £2.50 all day parking.

Great place to walk and talk. Snowdrops and daffodils are lovely. Had a drink in the cafe. Was very busy for Tuesday afternoon. The gardeners are always very informative about the plants etc. Car parking charge apply. You can park in Forty Hall and walk 10 mins to the gardens. Has a little information centre about EA Bowles. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

This place is a real gem and well worth a visit. The grounds are super pretty and I can imagine when everything is in full flower and the sun is shining the place looks even better. £2.50 for the car park! And free entry! The coffee shop is pretty good too. I've promised to go back when the weather finally improves! Don't wanna spoilt it by posting too many pics .. but here's a few.

The garden is a wonder of natural looking planting and more exotic specimens. Restored from its Bowles legacy with many crocuses and snowdrops early in the year, a large pond and calm areas to ponder and listen to your surroundings. Easy to get to with a cafe and pay and display carpark.

Excellent small gardens with a wide variety of plants and different landscaping, a lake and greenhouses. Free entry if arriving on foot or a small car park charge. Interesting information and small cafe make it worth a visit

A very relaxing place with a lot of different types of plants. It's not so big so very ideal for a short walk. There are a few of benches here and there, so you can enjoy the nice gardens and pond views. There is a nice Caffè at the entrance which has some outside chairs too. It would be a nice escape when the weather permits. Abundant car park available.

Small but perfectly formed. Interior of house not open. Shows signs of Covid neglect, buy in some ways more charming. Cafe has had a huge make over and has good historical displays in it.

How beautiful is this Place! Oh my goodness what a find. A truly magnificent garden. Absolutely stunning at the moment with all the various spring plants and blossom. This is a must. Please support them and as a plus there is a lovely little cafe for a latte at the end of your visit. Enjoy!

Very nice gardens. Plenty of seats around to take in the views. Nice little tea rooms. Gardens free but suggested £2 donation.

A top place to walk around. You don’t pay entry but you pay for the car park, bring a change, I think it’s £2.50. There’s a cafe, shop & gorgeous places to be discovered. Definitely worth visiting.

Lovely place/gardens. Nice cafe with lovely staff & gluten-free options. You have to pay for parking but it's about a 10-15 min walk (max) from the free car park at neighbouring Forty Hall 👍 Organic vegetables for sale according to season - had some gorgeous (unusual) squash from there which you'd never find in supermarkets. Very reasonably priced too!
