The little family run cafe is an excellent spot for those seeking a delicious breakfast or brunch. The cafe is well known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the kind and hospitable owners.

Outstanding, small, madly reasonably-priced classic old school cafe of the type that's becoming sadly rare in London these days. Family run for decades, and friendly in the traditional way of remembering the orders of and joking around with the regulars (which you become remarkably quickly). And as it's an Italian family running the place, the coffee is superb.

Such a lovely small quaint place that's been around for three generations with the most wonderful and friendly staff. I was really craving a good english breakfast in the area and Dory's popped up on Google. As an American in town visiting for the week, they've been so welcoming and sweet each time I visit. The camaraderie amongst the staff and the locals like a true treasured neighborhood cafe would warm anyone's heart. Not to mention, the food is also absolutely excellent. Best English breakfast in town (no exaggeration). Thank you for making my English experience even more special.

Offers a quintessential’ ‘full English breakfast’ For Aussies travelling around, this hit the spot perfectly. You’ve set the bar high! Fantastic spot for both food, and service.

Full 5 star and 24 gun salute. Here we have a real classic cafe not unlike the legendary Embassy Cafe in pimlico. This micro cafe is not easy to find a space to sit down but when you do, you'll be pleased you did. Amazing quality Attentive staff Agreeable prices As a food tour guide in London This is my North London Recommendation Awesome job from the brother and sister team ! My new regular Thanks guys ! Visited with my son. Service was friendly from the moment we walked in. Owners chatted to us, food and coffee great. Will definitely return. A far better option that overpriced high street chains.

Although I have known of the café for decades, I popped in for the first time on 07.10.23 and was amazed that there were 5 people working there - it is not a large place. It soon became apparent that the 5 people were rushed off their feet. Lots of people were coming in for takeaways and sitting inside and outside and I now know why. I ordered eggs, sausage, bacon and beans with a tea and everything was well cooked and very tasty except for the bacon. The bacon was excellent, it was fantastic! It was of superb quality and fried to perfection (not destroyed to a crisp like some other places do it). I have had bought expensive 'prestige' air-dried bacon for use at home and it did not taste as good as the Dory's bacon. If you like a good breakfast and brilliant bacon then please do give Dory's a go. I honestly don't know why I waited so long.

From the moment you step into Dory’s Cafe, you’re greeted with warm smiles and the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Located in the heart of High Barnet, this quaint cafe is nothing short of a haven for both locals and visitors alike. The ambiance at Dory’s is homely and inviting, with a rustic charm that provides a cozy backdrop for catching up with friends or simply enjoying a peaceful moment alone. The wooden furnishings and the eclectic assortment of vintage decor add to its character, making every visit a uniquely enjoyable experience. The menu is a delightful medley of classic cafe fare and innovative dishes. Whether you opt for a hearty breakfast or a light lunch, the quality and freshness of ingredients shine through. Their eggs benedict is a must-try and the variety of homemade cakes and pastries are simply to die for. The coffee is always brewed to perfection, providing that much-needed kickstart to your day. However, it’s not just the food and ambiance that make Dory’s stand out, but the warm and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a pleasant dining experience. They exemplify exceptional customer service, always serving with a smile and making sure all your needs are met. Dory’s Cafe encapsulates what a community cafe should be - a welcoming place with delicious food, friendly faces, and a relaxing environment. It’s a place where every patron is treated like family and every meal is prepared with love. It’s no wonder Dory’s has become a beloved fixture in High Barnet. For anyone in or around the High Barnet area, Dory’s Cafe is undoubtedly a place worth visiting. Each visit leaves you with a full stomach, a happy heart, and the anticipation of your next return.

A fantastic family-run local cafe has become a regular stop for our family after swimming. The best cup of tea in Barnet - and tasty egg and bacon rolls. Great service, quality and value.

Went in yesterday for breakfast. Really good food, really good atmosphere and vibe. Constant stream of people popping in to grab food who had obviously been before. So therefore highly recommended.

There a reason this cafe has stood the test of time, it's a tiny greasy spoon (Even that term imo, does it disservice) that serves top quality food and it's very reasonable, I have never ever had a bad meal here and the Cardosi family are always so extremely accommodating to every person that walks through the door, I think if it was any bigger it would lose it's charm but can often be caught out with sitting down in the cafe, as it's so small. Would be the first place I would recommend to a tourist for an English Breakfast. Proper scran.

Lovely coffee I do prefer Dorys Cafe to others strong coffee less bitter if you know what I mean, staff was lovely, they had alternative milk, plus good wifi if you sitting down do a quick coffee laptop work.

Lovely atmosphere x deffo felt like a town local cafe x lots of people meeting up friends for a cuppa and a chat with really good food x me and my dad had a full English each x minus or plus things we want individually and my mum had a cheese toastie and it's was £23 for all with a can of diet coke and a water. You can have whatever you want in the breakfast x have things cooked how you desire. So good x deffo recommend and will deffo go again

This place is a treasure, an old-fashioned cafe with a large choice of sandwiches, breakfasts and lunches plus juices, teas and coffees. Super friendly staff too, especially the lady in charge, Angela? I had a chicken casserole that looked so good the guy behind me in the queue wanted to nab it before it reached my table! Thanks folks, will surely return when back in Barnet!

Sad to say that I had a very very bad experience recently. The bacon sandwiches were so greasy and inedible, and the hash browns were the same. I left a few stars because the people who own it are absolutely lovely, but I have to be honest about the food, and it’s simply not good enough.

Best Café in London hands down. I can't tell you how good this place really is; it's special. The food is impeccable (the chips are stupendous!), the coffee and tea (loose tea) is amazing but above all, the atmosphere and warmness of the place is what sets it apart. Everyone is social and has a chat which is quite rare nowadays. Jules cooks up a mean fry up and Angela takes your order and makes a lovely coffee. Violet is so friendly too. If ever in Barnet, don't bother going to a mediocre chain or franchise where they don't even say hello and the food is average, go to Dory's instead... A proper Café with good genuine people and where the food is sublime. Highly recommended!

Amazing! I'm at a loss for words with the place. Me and friends do cafe tours all around London and this miles the best we've had. Truly, an exceptional experience.
