H Samuel how poor this shop is, you can find this shop in the middle of the Whitgift shopping centre in Croydon London.. Went in to change a battery in my watch ⌚️ I was told it would take 4 weeks before I could my watch back, because they have to send it away for it to be done...I step 2 yards Away to a small jewellery next to H Samuel It takes the gentleman 5 minutes to change my battery..poor shop poor customer service poor shopping centre,,outside shop very poor,,every corner you will find someone begging Croydon shopping centre is very very poor most of the shops are now closed inside and outside.. Avoid if you can, try the Bromley shopping centre for Christmas..sorry to say but I live in Croydon..but my shopping centre is very poor 😐

Today I purposely made a visit to buy a new watch and also brought in an existing watch previously bought from this Croydon store, to replace the glass. Was there for over 20 minutes and truly felt I was invisible, as nobody acknowledged me and two male members of staff were clearly not very busy but making every effort to avoid eye contact with me! I was a long standing customer of yours, but not any more. UPDATE 11/01/2024 Thank you Elaine for your response but I truly have no wish in returning to H Samuel in the future or contacting your customer service. A simple acknowledgement when I was clearly patiently waiting to be served was all that was required. Nothing more. Cheers.

Have not bought any jewellery in ages and used to shop here back in the day. Today I purchased some beautiful 9ct yellow gold ball stud earrings. They look really nice on and we're reasonably priced considering the cost of gold now. Definitely recommend this jewellery store.

I came here to return a ring following a change in personal circumstances. The sales assistant who initially saw me agreed to proceed with the refund but the manager was reluctant to do this and was subtly hinting to return to the store I had purchased the ring to find ‘an alternative’ or to keep it due to 20% off. I expressed that I would rather return, hence why I was there but she then said she could do not it due to me not having the master copy of the receipt. I called customer service and was informed this was inaccurate and she could have proceeded with the return as it was purchased the previous day. I then returned to the store I purchased it originally from, to be told that ‘managers sometimes do this to prevent it coming out from their sales targets for the day’. The shop and items sold are fine, however management and sales associates need to be aware of sensitive reasons as to why people may return rings. Shouldn’t be forcefully encouraged to keep it and then pushed away.

Excellent customer service. I was called by the store when my order was available to collect (after having some stock issues trying to order online). Jackie was very helpful and friendly and knew about my order when I visited the store - it's nice to visit a store which values customer service and experience. Recommended.

I had a ramond Weil watch which got water in it , they sent it away and then told me it all needs the insides replace at a cost in excess of £1000 , i manage to get it repaired for £377

Leaving some items in for repair. Helpful advice as the silver item would have been beyond expensive for repair and could be bought cheaper as new. Gold earring was going to be repaired irrespective, as given by my late husband. Very helpful.

Didn't buy anything. Was looking for cheap stud-earrings. There was a wonderful Customer Service lady - who showed us all the variety. As this was meant as a gift for someone else. She let us take photos of earings - so I could send it to indented person. Thank-you to the individual, for a wonderful Customer Service.

Wife's wedding ring needed enlarging. Member of staff was on point with the request. Wife got message it was ready about 10 days later and it's back on her finger.
