Nice cosy place to hangout with your partner. They have a nice comic library theme and also provide books to read. Not suggested for a larger group. Ideal group size can be 3 to 4. Recently they have started serving alcohol as well. I was a big fan of their Cajun burgers but sadly that is out of the menu now. Overall satisfied with the service provided as well.

This is the most unique cafe i haven't seen before in Mumbai. It's just not like a same routine cafe. The owner is big time fan of comics and the cafe is designed with all the beautiful comics stars. The cafe has a beautiful library in the basement with ample of books 📚 Book lovers this is your place you can just come down take a coffee and enjoy your book reading. Since 5 years they have also started serving alcohol. I ordered one coffee ( Americano) it was good in taste. There is also outdoor seating available. Wheelchair accessible entrance ❌ Wheelchair accessible washroom ❌ Parking ❌

Very relaxed atmosphere. The outside section is pet friendly. They have a good variety of beer on tap. Couldn't stay long because there were too many flies but that was more to do with the rainy weather of the day. Tried the roasted aubergine on toast and a few different beers. Would definitely visit again to try out some more food and beer.

We had a couple of beers here and the place is cozy with loads of books and definitely a good place to catch up with friends. Tried the coffee here as well it was good. The food is quality and quantity is fine. But definitely need to improve on the Buffalo wings quantity. My recommendation would be to try the cider here.

Secret heaven for manga & comic lovers! They have an amazing library collection with super cozy settings. Had the hot chocolate and nachos which were great as well. Library floor closes at 10pm and you can't take food on that floor for precaution. Cafe aesthetics are also amazing. The staff was super friendly (even helped me borrow a phone charger 😂)

I absolutely loved the ambience of this place. The moment I entered the basement library, I thought about 'The Big Bang Theory.' This would have been the guys' favourite spot. The food is amazing here. The service was rather slow and we had to wait for about an hour or so for our food. However the ambience and the food quality adds up to a great experience. Must visit if you're a book lover and a foodie 😀

Leaping Windows on Yari Road is a charming haven for bookworms, coffee enthusiasts, and pet lovers alike. Whether you're seeking a quiet corner to read, a cozy spot to catch up with friends, or simply a pet-friendly café to spend quality time with your furry companion, this place has it all. Craft beer 🍺 with some pesto chicken sandwich or buffalo burger or crispy chicken all helped tantalise the palate and slowwwly soak in the weekend

For so many years now Leaping windows has not once let us down when it comes to comfort food or their insanely yummy burgers. The sweet potato fries are a must and so is everything else, and the bond they have with books and comics - aaah the icing on the cake. Keep up the great work guys, we love visiting you again and again.

One of the best places to relax with a book. They even sell second-hand books. A small cafe with both outdoor & indoor seating and some good old books. They also have another cozy space (a small one though) for book lovers to read their comic book collection.

Concept is wonderful but the execution is not quite there yet. Extremely small cafe. The comic book library feels cooped up and not cosy. It is basically a merely air conditioned basement with comic books, charge is 60rps/1hr. The food is not great. The chicken crispy starter that we ordered had a fishy smell. Waiters won't bother. In short don't keep high expectations!

What an amazing gem?! Margarita pizza was just okay (but the cherry tomatoes and roasted garlic helped made the pizza taste better) but the prawn and chilly oil pizza was amazing. I am Vietnamese and can say that the VN iced coffee isn't authentic but quite okay. The best aspect about this place is their comic books collection. Simply amazing!

Nice place to seat. Nice appearance. Tea has not good taste. Take auto from Versova Metro station. Not walkable distance. Tables are for 4, not for bigger group. Staff is good.

The concept of a graphic novels library is pathbreaking. The collection of books is unparalleled. The assortment of craft beers is wide and excellent. The food stands out. It is unique and well thought through. Every item we ordered was cooked to perfection and presented aesthetically. This place is an absolute gem and I'd recommend it very highly.

Beautiful place with elegant vibes. A dream place for book and comic lovers. A must visit for book lovers. Calming and soulful ambience for reading. Food is also good. Veg options are limited but a buffet of non- vegetarian dishes is at your disposal. The staff is friendly and helping.

Small little Cafe in Yari road, Versova. Very tastefully done up! You have a choice of outdoor or indoor seating. Though the menu is not extensive but they serve excellent food, I have never been disopointed. I love one perticuller beer they serve here it's called Dark Matter, it's slightly on a sweeter side but I really enjoy the taste. The service is super as well. You can even become a member and read books at the cafe. I think they charge a nominal fee per hour. Parking can be a bit of problem around that area though!

If you wish to find a calm and comfortable place to carry out your work or just want to spend your own time reading alone, this is just the place you would love to be at. Good ambience, well communicative staff and top notch cleanliness gives this place a well deserved 5 star rating. P.S. reading in the basement as of now is temporarily closed. You can just have a glance at their amazing built basement but can't sit and read there as of now.

Perhaps the best cafe in all of Mumbai. It's cosy and slightly artsy without being pretentious. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous, the food is good and well priced and now they serve alcohol too. It attracts sophisticated and cultured crowd and the location is just perfect for a warm cup of tea/coffee or a nice beer on a Sunday afternoon.

Reader's place, for people who need space to read and let their thoughts take shape. Freshly brewed beer and honey beer is also an option in beverages. Banana coffee pancakes is what my friends loved and green pesto was good for me (with ketchup) ?

Leaping Windows is a hidden gem that beautifully combines the love of books and great food in an unforgettable ambience. Upon stepping into the basement library, I was instantly reminded of 'The Big Bang Theory,' and I couldn't help but imagine it as the guys' favorite hangout spot. The cozy, book-filled atmosphere creates a unique and inviting vibe. While I wholeheartedly agree that the food is amazing at Leaping Windows, I must admit that the service was a bit slow during my visit, requiring us to patiently wait for about an hour for our meals. However, the exceptional ambience and food quality more than compensated for the wait. This place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the perfect pairing of good books and delicious cuisine. If you're a book lover and a foodie, Leaping Windows offers an experience that you'll cherish. 📚🍽️😀

An absolutely amazing cafe in Andheri West, Mumbai, it has mouth watering food, all kinds of beverages, desserts that you will crave for more. The best thing about this cafe is, it has a basement library with numerous comic, manga and sketch books. The decor is aesthetic too!

Definitely would not recommend this place if you want good food. Chicken was very bad. Not at all tasty. If you want to visit for library it's good. But that is also chargeable. Think before you go!

Tucked away in a bylane of Yari road is this delightful cafe. Literally want to lead into their window every time I am there after the fabulous repast. Wonderful atmosphere, (the music is a bit garish and loud, but they lowered the volume at our request), a great patio to sit in and good inexpensive food. What more can one ask for? Had My Endu Kheema (Eggs and kheema) after years. Oh and their cold coffee was delicious too

As a book cafe it certainly manages to live up to the expectations of a one-off visitor, but for someone considering to visit regularly, there could be room for improvement. The collection of all kinds of books, comics, and manga is good, but its lacking in new and latest, especially for those interested in reading manga. I didnt try the food but I have no reason to doubt the quality and taste based on my friends experience.

It is THE place to be if you love comics and good food. You can go alone or with friends, you will have fun. There are volumes of so manyyy comics in down a cute little spiral staircase.

The worst place, I have ever go out for. I had ordered one cold coffee, one hot coffee and bean burger, the burger was very dry, I had ordered one paneer Sandwich also, it was also bad and i had ordered pesto sauce pasta, it was worst. This place is only good for avid book reader who love to read fiction books, graphic book. This place is only ok for some short place visit.

An elegant and cozy cafe tucked away in Versova streets, it is a gem of a find. - The highlight is their basement library which has a huge range of comic books, including favourites like Amar Chitra Katha, Naruto, Death note and many more. -Beverages served in the library, but no food. - Indoor as well as outdoor seating available -To use the basement library they charge a small amount of RS 50 per hour. -Their beers on tap are fantastic. Tried the ExperimentalAle, was very flavourful. -Food is very good. Limited vegetarian options though. The veg burger is too dry, go for paneer sandwich instead.

The coffee shop and I was impressed with my overall experience. The atmosphere was nice, with comfortable seating and a pleasant ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive. The coffee selection was impressive and enjoyable, with a wide variety of blends and roasts. The food menu was also great and well-priced. I would definitely recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a comfortable place to relax in Mumbai

Walked in with doubt because of the mixed reviews but was blown away by their food quality and quantity.. we were 5 of us and each dish that was severed was delicious in its own way. Loved the starters, the main course and the desserts. For people who say the service is delayed only word is it was worth it. There was no delay for us and also board games are available to fill in the time . Loved the ambiance ,food, the service and everything about it❤️ .

I really like Leaping Windows and it can be great destination especially on a weekend. Some Key Highlights: 1. Pet Friendly & i have taken my pets there. They had eggs and water for the babies. But you can only sit outside with the pets. 2. Great Menu. Most of the items on their menu are just outstanding however their small bites menu can do with a little more variety.

absolutely adore the combination of a coffee shop with a library! It's a haven for book lovers and caffeine enthusiasts like me. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee blends perfectly with the calming ambiance of books. It's a place where you can savor a delicious cup of coffee while immersing yourself in a world of literature. Whether I need a quiet spot to study, a cozy corner to read, or simply a serene atmosphere to unwind, a coffee shop with a library never fails to provide the ideal setting. It's the best of both worlds, offering a delightful escape into the realms of both literature and caffeine bliss.

Really cool place in the midst of the usual chaos of Mumbai’s busy streets. Nice relaxed place and for the casual comic buff. Some nice beers and IPAs on tap and bottles. Small bites food menu - tasty but can be improved with more variety (though the nachos deserve a special mention). However, the real downside is that this place has no WiFi (certainly in the time I visited over three weeks) which is really a must have especially for tourists who rely on wifi access to get online at cafes and restaurants etc.

It's lovely cafe with a comic book theme. They even have a basement library full of comic books where one can sit and enjoy some reading time. Their Aztec Cold Coffee, Choco Malt Milkshake and Nachos are great!

The place has a good ambience and courteous staff.. Has a basement library where you can sit peacefully and enjoy reading a book.... The food I would say, I wasn't satisfied with.. I ordered a cold coffee which was less of coffee and too much milk.. Veg Bruschetta - not so good and a cafe mocha which was average.. Three stars are for the ambience and library.

The worst customer service. Charged me for stuff they'd forgotten to add on my bill two months ago. "You have to pay because we forgot to add items on our bill". Never had a more silly experience with a restaurant.

A nice cozy yet cheerful place, which btw is a lovely place to visit for an afternoon relaxation with a late lunch and one of the finest Hot Chocolate brews in the city. Also, you'll probably spot a celebrity here as it's located in the interiors of Versova, Andheri West and kind of a celebrity favourite. I have personally spotted Nawazuddin Siddique here and a couple of TV actor/actresses. The ambiance will remind you of your childhood as well due to an entire section of all your favourite comics with a warm seating arrangement. Good for food also, however offers a limited menu for Vegetarians. One thing's for sure the ambiance of this restaurant is to admire, adore and be amazed by. It's got that vibe which you can't feel or understand unless you have visited it, so I'd strongly recommend to go here at least once. It'll be worth it

I returned to LW (Leaping Windows) practically after a year now, and the only reason that made me come back was the kickass tasty mouth watering food and especially the Classic Cold Coffee!! But there I a disclaimer!!!! I stopped coming because of the errant attitude of the Staff which ruins your experience. And the worse part is the founders are near and around and they just dont bother about it !!! I am writing this right while sitting inside the restaurant waiting for my meals over 45 mins. And the server not even polite enough to come and check on me!! GREAT FOOD IN STUPID HANDS!!

Leaping Windows was a great experience for me. I'm new to Mumbai but after shifting I've already been here twice. Their food and drinks are good and not exorbitantly priced. They have a couple of nice beers and ales too. I'd tried their banoffee pie among desserts and found it really nice. But what I loved the most is the quiet reading room below. They have a pretty decent collection of graphic novels and comics only. They don't keep other genres if that's your thing. You can go and read there for hours without anyone disturbing you. They let you take your drink down with you while you read. Charges are 50 INR per hour. If I'm not mistaken, the reading room closes at 10.

This is one of my favourite places in Mumbai to visit whenever I want to have a Me time or want to work in a calm ambience or even chill with my friends. This place has a USP of having TONS of Comics, yes you heard it right. However they charge per hour to go in the books section where you can read about it. They have both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. My standard orders include Hot Chocolate or Cappuccino or Banoffee Pie or Nutella Pancakes. I hardly have tried their savoury food. The one time I tried a chicken starter (who's name I fail to remember) was really good.
