good hospital. this review is only for one doctor. Dipesh palan practising here and has a clinic in Vikhroli. Even has made the noble profession of doctor a business. Told me to do open heart surgery urgently and get admitted. I told I wanted to arrange for cash and I visited other doctor just for 2nd opinion. All 4 doctors said no need for surgery. Have read many bad reviews abt doctor palan. Its my fault that I still visited.

Doctors in this hospital are very money minded. They will try to loot you. Go only if you have large pocket or good medical insurance. Staff nurses are good. If such things goes on one day it will be shut and the credit will go to bad doctors.

Had a good experience at Godrej memorial hospital. It's a multi facility hospital the staff is well trained, at the entrance they sanitized your hands and check the temperature, also inside the hospital after every checkup of the patient the seats are sanitized and kept Clean and hygiene, Every doctor wear PPE kit before any check-up of the patient. The good thing is it's a very spacious, systematic arrangements and large waiting area and also sufficient sitting for everyone. Staff is good and polite and cleanliness is up to mark. Parking area spacious.

Don't even think of going to this hospital. They loot u literally. A procedure of 3 minutes i.e. wax removal from ears which is usually done as a part of consultation is charged 900 over that consultation of 500 plus registration of another 100. Day light loot in the name of hospital.

This review is for the HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) facility provided by a specialist Team in this Hospital. HBOT is very useful for many physical issues like Cystitis, Proctitis, Gangrene, Other Internal or External Injuries due to Accidents, Prolonged injuries due to diabetics, Hearing problems in ear and many more. In HBOT chamber the air pressure is increased by 3 times and under such air pressure the patients are provided pure 100% OXYGEN to breathe which gets mixed with blood & plasma and helps in healing process. It works best when one takes it daily. My mother has developed Radiation Cystitis due to the side affect of Radiation that she had taken 3 years back. Due to this problem she started bleeding with her urine. HBOT is one of the recommended treatment for Radiation Cystitis. The HBOT facility in Godrej Hospital is one of the best. The Leader of this facility is Dr Rajan who is a Ex Navy Officer (Doctor) specialized in this therapy. He is just wonderful in his approach and very cordial in his behavior. His approach towards the patient is appreciative. Very soft spoken and down to earth. Mr Shaktipada Dey, (in short Dey Dada) is another gem of this unit who again is an Ex Navy Man specialist in Submarine technology where this HBOT therapy is used mostly. He is also a vivid marathon runner who is frequent in different Marathon happens in & around Mumbai. He never minds how many questions you keep asking him for clarifying your mind Akshay & Sahil are the Nursing Staff who assist the patients inside the HBOT chamber. They are best in coordinating and taking due care of the patients if they need any help like feeling mild pain due to air pressure inside the chamber. While Akshay is a good Cricketer who wins matches for his hospital, Sahil is a marathoner along with Para Gliding. I must tell something about Vivek who is the one from Engineering department who controls the air flow, Oxygen flow inside the chamber from outside. He is the one who handles the flow with minute details. He also coordinates with nursing staff from outside by monitoring the patients from CCTV. There are few others like Dr. Ghosh who is also a member of this HBOT facility who is again an Ex Navy Officer (Doctor). Very soft spoken and warm hearted. He is so down to earth that one would wonder being such a senior person how can he be so soft. Other support Team like Tushar from Engineering Department, is also worth mentioning who keeps monitoring the overall set up from his capacity. He keeps helping the team by relieving other team members during busy urgent schedule Devidas (fondly he is called as Mama), is the housing staff who undoubtedly keeps the entire set up clean. He also helps bringing the patients thru wheel chair/stretcher from outside and also help them along with nursing staff to get in the HBOT chamber. Overall, the HBOT facility in the Godrej Hospital is a boon to many patients and the approach of everyone mentioned here is just amazing. With the 15 sittings, I have developed a friendship with all of these people and I must say that any patient coming to HBOT facility in Godrej will feel the warm that I have felt. I wish everyone here a wonderful life ahead and wish them to continue the good work that they have been doing

So I booked an appointment here for my mother's second vaccine dose. Worst service ever. thinking the name is big do the place and guidelines will be better. Completely opposite. NO SAFE DISTANCE, ASKING EVERYONE TO WAIT IN A SINGLE LIKE WHEN it was raining heavily. Even when I booked an appointment a day prior. Even when wearing double masks. They asked to buy SURGICAL MASK FROM THIER MEDICAL STORE COMPULSORY. PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL ABILITY/ OLD PEOPLE WERE MADE TO WAIT IN LINE. IN TOTAL 4 TIMES WE WERE SUPPOSED TO WAIT IN LINES BEFORE GOING IN (OUTSIDE IN THE RAIN) BEFORE PAYING WHILE TAKING THE NUMBER. TO PAY FOR THE VACCINE. AFTER PAYING TO GET THE VACCINE. --- DURING THE VACCINE THE DR/NURSE WAS JUST RUSHING. PLEASE look into this

I recently had a family member who needed medical attention and we met Dr. Kalpesh Shah. He suggested us Godrej Memorial Hospital. We ended up in Godrej Memorial Hospital. I have to say, I was really impressed with the level of care I received there. The doctor was knowledgeable and kind, and took the time to explain everything in detail. But it wasn't just the doctors who were great - the nursing staff were amazing too. They were always available to answer questions and offer support, which really put our minds at ease during stressful times. The hospital itself is also top notch. It is modern, clean and well organized which made our visit as comfortable as possible. From the waiting area to the equipment, everything was top-of-the-line. Overall, I would definitely recommend Godrej Memorial Hospital to anyone who needs medical care. The staff truly makes patient care a priority and it shows in everything they do.

Lethargic Doctors. I think no one should come here in case of emergency. The main doctor and RMO don't visit until you go and takes regular follow up for Patient. No one informs anything and no active follow up on whether patient is improving or not unless you yourself go and speak doctors and management. All Doctors and staff will say ho jayega we are taking care of your patient he is not responding us etc, Sometime doctors come and visit but they are not talking with patient relative the only thing is they want money cause 80% patient are having mediclaim. Bad hospital for Neuro Patient I wish I could give zero stars to the hospital and its management

Requesting to all, don't bring your patient here!! This hospital is fraud, they admitted my uncle and kept him in icu saying he is in critical condition, and sedated him, they drink inside the nurses and ward boy, they take money unnecessarily saying test are being done, we realized and tool my uncle out, they had done it before and killed the people, and even if you try to complain or register a police complaint, they threat you as they are very powerful, please keep your people away from this hospital!!!! Save your people, I hope goverment do something about this!!!!

They are charging 50% extra on a holiday. Note for the management-Kindly note that it’s a hospital and not a mall or a hotel. Don’t do business here. You guys should be proud that you are getting an opportunity to serve people. On top the staff is not aware whether the doctors are coming or not. Most of the times the doctors are late. Staff is not courteous.

One of the most lethargic staff. I think no one should come here in case of emergency. The main doctor and RMO don't visit until you go and shout at the reception where is the doctor. No one informs anything and no active follow up on whether patient is improving or not unless you yourself go and speak doctors and management. And once the patient starts improving, neither the doctor nor the nurse will come and check up. Even when you go to nurses and ask about whereabouts of the doctor, no one will know. I wish I could give zero stars to the hospital and its management

Godrej memorial hospital a money making machine.....my mom was admitted in hospital which later doctor told was because she is kidney patient.. and intake of water should be limited to 1 litre which she drank more that day so water accumulated in cheat and she couldn't breathe.. we were unaware that day and came to hospital because mom was unable to breathe.. doctors came up with bizzare things like ur mother is having cancer... To lungs are detoriating..we went to xray dept where we knew one person.. he showed us the scan report and we consulted diffrent doctor in other hospital.. all doctor of other hospital told that its just water filled nothing serious.. the same day doctors from godrej memorial had told me looking at the same report that it may be cancer to lungs are countinuing to detoriate..and mom was all fine in the icu..then i had an argument to shift him in ward.. the same day they shifted ..if it was so dangerous how did they shift him out..and in ward she was fully ok... this just a tactic by almost all doctors here to milk money from patient at the cost of not just money but even health of patient and their relatives..!!! Never ever visit this hospital..!!

I lost my dear cousin brother because of the unimaginable level of negligence in taking care of him. He was just 26, healthy living person with not a single bad habit. He had dengue and was entirely fine. Then, he had liver swelling and they did not even have a single doctor in the hospital to take care until morning by when there was internal bleeding and they did not even have a single doctor in the hospital to take care until morning. How pathetic is this? We decided to move him to Lilavati for further care but they said there is only 20% chance and liver damage caused already. But, ultimately he could no longer bear and ultimately succumb to death. Never ever go here!!! I wish I could give them negative ratings. Pathetic doctors, pathetic hospital. We are definitely going to take some action.

I have visited the Vikhroli Godrej Hospital twice. First for my dad's hospitalization and the second time it was for corona waxine for the entire family. Both the times I found this hospital working well. They take care of patients as well as relatives. The staff and doctors are all nice. They take care of patients day and night. Hygiene is also maintained. Washrooms, rest rooms and drinking water are available. ICU and all high level facilities are there. Yes, the rates are high compared to normal private hospitals, but at the same time, quick service and action are also major plus points of this hospital. I recommend this hospital in urgency with quick and positive response.

Amongst the worst hospital in Mumbai and compares to Govt. Hospital though fees r of premium private hospital. My experiance of 2.5 years is as follows 1. Doctors never ever come on time,. Staff never inform correct position, keep waiting endlessly. 2. Doctors abruptly go on leave and treatment suffers, patients informed ABT doctor leave only after reaching hospital. 3. Doctors here r seems pretty ordinary and career strugglers, Godrej allows them to experiment here. 4. Some doctors r here ,just to divert patients to their own clinics. 5.Charges r very high, and not comparable to quality of doctors who doesn't understand the disease. 6. Cafeteria is good, have some snacks and come back.

Very decent experience with the 1 day visit for vaccination purpose. It is very clean and tidy and nicely managed. The hospital staff treats you well and even the security are strictly maintaining the order. Cleanliness is maintained and there is a good canteen inside hospital which offers tasty menu to visitors too. Parking is also available but for limited number of cars. And it has multiple entrance for different purpose.

There is a racket being run at the payment counter for Covid Vaccination. The amount of vaccination is Rs. 780/-. The lady at the counter sends everyone back saying that she does not have Rs. 20/- change & asks to collect later. I almost forgot to take my money back & i have almost 6-7 friends who forgot to take their money back. Imagine the amount of money the ladies at the counter are making every day!

I visited today to consult Dr. Jiten choudary for my dad's hernia consultation, Dr's Consultation and recommendations went well...but the OPD cordinator ladies who send the patients one by one to OPD room was not professional and so careless about the patient waiting order. Sending patients randomly and not by the billing time order which is being displayed on Dr's pc screen.these created confusion in patient name while doing prescription.... Dear Dr these unprofessional coordinators will spoil ur good review. Pls tc.

Not a good hospital for angiography. We had an appointment over there for 1 pm, machine stopped working due to low maintenance history. They should atleast take care of the machines and make sure it is working before treating a patient. Since it is related to heart, they should take extra precautions. Avoid this hospital if you want to do angiography at any cost.

After 15 days experience Hospital is not skilled, Only Doctors are Good # But staff specially billing is not responsive. Godrej still charging Deposit before getting hospitalized even after having Great Medical Insurance Policies. # They asking for 46 days (which they don't mention time of admission) to return your deposit. Just earning interest from patients money. # After COVID is over still they charging Deposit. Really wrong practice. # Not hygiene place for patients. They're really short of resources like ward boy. Only One boy on floor that too work in multiple shifts. # Food quality is OK Ok # No mobile network coverage in 50% hospital area just billing place working fine. # Canteen is ok but no network so can't pay through mobile, need to request cashier to let you out for making payment after you have you meal (awkward situation) Godrej and DIN Cap. Verma, pl take concerns seriously and wisely for improvement. Additional response: My claim is settled on same day of discharge 100% payout, still keeping deposit with you for 46 days is not appropriated. Look for expedite on refund action. Still many Hospitals are not taking deposit after giving reference of Working Reputed Employer.

Very promptly responded for emergency call for my mother who lost consciousness at midnight. Provided with doctor with ambulance who took immediate action at my residence only, to avoid the time loss in treatment. I have tried calling Hiranandani hospital ambulance which could not get through due to their complex system, unavailability of ambulance and time to reach was long to my place for their ambulance. Staff at the CCU was very co operative and prompt. Dr. Abhijeet Jadhav visited the hospital early morning and guided the team for further course of action, that was pretty prompt and appreciable. As always, he is very polite and considerate with the patients. Room service, food quality, cleanliness and the support staff also was fast and courteous. TPA team gave good support for mediclaim communications. It was seamless. My earlier perception about the hospital had changed this time, on good note. They need to work little on economy of the services. In all good experience with them, keep it up GMH.

I recently had to go to the hospital for a serious illness, and I was so impressed with the care I received. The doctors and nurses were all incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, and they made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The hospital itself was also very clean and well-maintained, and I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. One of the things that impressed me the most about the hospital was the way that the staff communicated with me. They were always very clear and concise in their explanations, and they took the time to answer all of my questions. They also made sure to keep me updated on my progress, which helped me to feel more in control of my situation. Overall, I had a very positive experience at this hospital. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for high-quality medical care. Here are some specific things that you can mention in your review: The quality of the medical care you received. The compassion and understanding of the doctors and nurses. The cleanliness and condition of the hospital facilities. The communication between you and the staff. Any other positive aspects of your experience. If you have any negative experiences to share, be sure to mention them as well, but try to do so in a constructive way. For example, you could say something like, "I was disappointed that the wait time to see a doctor was so long," or "I felt like the food in the cafeteria was not very nutritious." Finally, be sure to end your review with a call to action. You could encourage others to visit the hospital, or you could offer your own suggestions for how it could improve. I hope this helps! Hospital is misleading and duping people of their money. I had undergone Angiography on 9th March 2022. TPA desk asked me deposit to 7000 as security. Though the TPA desk already had pre-authorization from my TPA. Since final approval from TPA was taking time I was told to pay the entire bill amount, and then TPA approved amount was to be refunded back to me. It's 16th March more a week and no refund issued from hospital. When I called to enquire, I was told Security amount that I deposited in the beginning will be refunded only after amount is received from Insurance and balance amount transfer is under process. What is the point of cashless facility when Patient has to pay and then follow-up for refund. Had the staff told this process in the beginning itself, I would have gone to some other hospital where actual cashless facility is provided. Or I would have directly claimed reimbursement from my TPA.

Been at this place for my mother's surgery. The entire system in the hospital is clearly described. The admission process was simple, the counselor did a fantastic job explaining the entire flow of activities. The single (special) room allotted to my mother was pretty spacious and the entire infrastructure is amazing. The nurses are very soft spoken and well behaved. Even the Cleaning team is perfect in the work execution. The security is well placed at proper places and they ensure crowding to avoid any kind of problems. The cafeteria of the hospital is maintained very hygienic and the food tastes good. Last but not the least, the Doctor (my school friend - Dr Survendar Rai) is a wonderful person and no words can express my gratitude to him. Thank you Survendar for being there since I mentioned to you about my mother's ailment. You are a gem of a person as always. Stay blessed!!! The overall experience of being at this hospital is satisfactory.

The billing & administrative staff is rude and insensitive. We had gone there to have some tests for my 87 year old grandmother but the people at reception made her wait for 2 hours. We were paying the fees but they would not start conducting any tests even after standing in the queue and submitting the form.. as the guy at reception was least bothered to look at our form.

Very bad experience --- Imagine during pandemic, the patient is asked to do all kind of test except covid. After other tests are negative then told to do COVID testing. In this process patient lost important 3-4 days of proper treatment.

Terrible experience at the customer handling. They don't provide information, keep transferring you from one call line to other and in the end disconnect the call. Called 5 times just to book an appointment for blood testing (could you believe that?).

Anyways less ppl visiting this hospital but they don't want to see few ppl also so they raised prices 50 percent high in sep 2019. N their medical shop n students(pls mind it students?) seating there are awesome ppl ...they want prescription for becasule n combiflame type of medicines too. They never able to answer anything without prescription. Thank God the good doctors of godrej visiting to other hospitals or they have their own clinic. Suggest to find good doctors here in hospital but pls meet them at their clinic. Recommended gynec dr. Sita Recommended pedia Dr unniyal They both seats at other location too with less consultation and surgery or any operation.

Good Hospital for OPD during day hours. There are no resident doctors. All doctors are on call so sometime it is difficult to meet doctor in case of emergency. But this hospital has capability to become no. 1 hospital in mumbai by increasing resident doctors for 24 hours support.

1)Worst experience during the situation wherein we currently are where hygiene and cleanliness is utmost important. The ward boy serves water in jug with same hands by which had given urine pot to another patient without cleaning the hands. 2)It seems issue of either poor man management or insufficient staff because we had tough time to get ward boy to serve the patient with urine pot etc wherever required. 3)Most worst part is the security at the main entrance who behaves as humans without brains. Asking patient who have undergone surgery to sit and wait outside the hospital for no reason. They themselves are not aware what is to be done and behaves as landlords. Worst than government hospital securities. Some people manage to passby and they don't say anything whereas harass others. Not even providing sanitiser and not checking the thermal of all people entering the hospital. There is fun and fair going outside the main entrance every day. 4)We were being told that casualty is operational 24/7 but when we reached along with patient at 7am we were asked to wait outside main entrance till 8.30am as casualty is not operational since staff haven't come yet and doctor will also come after 8.30am.

Visited the hospital for Covid vaccination. My 85 year old dad has problems walking. Even as he stepped out of our car, the security arranged for a wheel chair and ensured that he had no problems. Found all the staff to be trained to attend to patients even without any supervision. Great going guys. Keep it up.

The docs at emergency center are good for nothing. They even look at the patient carefully, all they are bothered is how the patient could be divert to Icu. They don’t even give any medicine to the patient and moreover they are bothered about the process. I found the docs at emergency to be incompetent and lacked empathy. They were outright rude and least interested to help the patient. Very bad service for a reputed hospital and least consideration to the patient condition. I would recommend to remove those two docs from the emergency centre outright. All they want to do is snooze at night

I was there for delivery. Afrer c sec I had too much pain n fever.. We inform to nurses..many times but no one bother n said u have to bear this pain. For 7 hour I was in terrible pain. They have not inform to my gynecologist. When my gynecologist came to visit at night that time she ask why dont u inform me. And nurses were lieing that we have gave u higher dose of painkillers. And hospital people also trouble for mediclaim n bills.. Making too much of extra bills.. They are taking from insurance company and also from patient.

My Father was admitted here in last week of Aug 2019. It's best for those who need good care of their near and dear ones when they require it the most. The rooms are cleaned & disinfected regularly. The Sister/ Nurse staff Ms. Deepa Harijan & Ms. Geethu Krishna (and ICU staff) were very much present whenever required. Experienced team of doctors are available. Dr. Deepesh Palan is very professional and knowledgeable.

Disclaimer before my review: i believe ALL hospitals are money minting business, not healing spaces. They are a necessary evil for the times that we live in because of the mass stupidity of humans and our greed and selfishness. ALL private hospitals for me are spectacles created for a grandiose imposition of Pharma industry agendas of drugging bodies. Having said that, if anyone wants to get treated in a private hospital, one needs money and it makes everything easier. For us, money was an issue but friends stepped up to help and i had to get treated for pneumonia and asthma. I was in the ICU for 3-4 days. The nurses and caretakers were spectacular. Overworked and underpaid but kind and helpful at all times. They helped me heal more than the million injections. Dr. Sagar Patil, my external consultant and Dr. Modi my Pulmonologist, were both very understanding and competent individuals. Respectful, answered all my medical my questions and kind too. The hospital in house doctors in the ICU were juvenile and silly, in my opinion. Perhaps fresh over confident MBBS kids trying to impose doctorhood. Annoying fellows they were but i managed to survive their onslaught. After being discharged from the ICU, i had to remain for 3 more days to complete my treatment in the normal ward. Here as well nurses and caretakers were very kind. Didn't meet annoying doctor's here fortunately. Dr. Patil guides me well. The physiotherapy sessions were helpful too. Everything in the room, is cleaned thrice a day or more if it gets dirty so cleanliness is not an issue here. ICU food was fantastic. General ward food was a little less Charmin. But good. For a week, we paid over 110,000/- roughly since our insurance didn't cover my pre existing asthma. But the money for me was well spent. In healing and in knowing how to take better care of myself so i don't ever have to step into another hospital again in this life. The intrusive systems of allopathy are traumatic. Injections, ventilators, anti- biotics and what not. It's a task to detox from these and get the body back. At Godrej, they were done respectfully and with consent, so I'm happy that there's some heart in these spaces. 5-stars for helping me and for treating me respectfully.
