Worst hospital ever. It should practically shut down. Old people goes in comes out Dead. They are only there to make money and bill you beyond your imagination. We had the worst experience there. Never ever going to go back to this horrible place. Make sure you don’t repeat this mistake by getting admitted there. They are very commercially trained. Even though that have rooms available, receptionist will create an explanation and make the patient admit in emergency room. I can go on and on. They will make you do all the test even though it’s not required. Just to add bills and complete their targets. BiG Mistake Of you ever get admitted here. They are fraud. Receptionists will say there’s no room available so you will have to get admitted in an emergency word even though there’s no emergency with the patience. They just want to make as much money as they can. Go there at your own risk.

Money making business and absolute no care for the patients. The doctors are given a target of particular amount to rob from the patients as part of their joining procedure based on which they earn their bonus. Every doctor will ensure here to fulfill it without a care about the patients health. Absolutely avoid going here for your better health.

My friend underwent surgery here and was not given painkillers for 2 days after, and was in horrible pain. Doctor patient confidentiality about medical history was breached in front of his parents. They charge a lot even for a small surgery with no complications. When the patient complained about pain the doctors replied with "were you not beaten enough when you were a kid?". My friend is scared to go to a hospital again even though he's still in pain. Please go elsewhere if you can.

Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai presents both positive and negative aspects for consideration. Although it claims to be the biggest and best hospital in the city, my experience with hospitals in Delhi and Jaipur for my relatives, leads me to believe that Kokilaben Hospital falls far short of meeting those high standards. When comparing infrastructure, facilities, nursing staff, and processes, Kokilaben Hospital lags quite behind the hospitals like Max, Fortis, Apollo , Birla Escorts others in Delhi and Jaipur One of the major issues I encountered was with the nursing staff. They appeared to be relatively inexperienced, lacking the necessary expertise and knowledge. As an admitted patient, I found myself constantly reminding them to administer my medications and injections on time, such as before meals and before bedtime. They had no tracking mechanism. Unfortunately, the patient calling bell near the bed often seemed to be more for show than for practical use, as the nurses would either not show up or would arrive significantly later, unless prompted by an attendant. Additionally, to get an Ultrasound done, I was made to wait for an exhausting two hours on a chair outside the department while the scanning staff engaged in casual conversations and jokes, displaying little regard for the waiting patients. It became apparent that the overall processes within the hospital were disorganized and unsatisfactory. Another drawback to consider is the relatively higher cost of treatment at Kokilaben hospitals compared to other cities. There are unnecessary very high charges added to your bill for consumables , which are not claimable from insurance However, one area where kokilaben excels and for that matter for most of the hospitals in Mumbai, it is in the quality of its doctors. The doctors here are far superior to their counterparts in Delhi or many other parts of India. In particular, doctors in Delhi are often criticized for their greed, insensitivity, and lack of empathy, which can be a discouraging experience for patients. In contrast, Mumbai doctors are known for their empathetic and sensitive approach, as well as their extensive knowledge and sense of responsibility. In conclusion, while Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai may have highly skilled doctors, there are significant improvements needed in terms of infrastructure, processes, and the quality of nursing staff. It would be beneficial for the hospital to consider revamping its buildings and adopting more modern practices to enhance the overall patient experience. Additionally, addressing the cost of treatment in Mumbai hospitals would make healthcare more accessible and affordable to a wider range of people. By focusing on these areas, the hospital can strive towards providing a truly outstanding and comprehensive healthcare experience for its patients.

Good doctors but very expensive and charging for each and every small things. Some of the charges are unnecessary. Also consulting all different specialist doctors in inpatient even if not required for patient. So you have to be very careful when they provide you any kind of service. Everything and every service is highly charged. If you don't argue then they will provide all different services and you feel its included in daily bed charges and necessary. So please ask for each and every service and get proper estimation for your treatment. Even very minor and basic treatment charges more than major deases charges in other hospitals.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital that compelled me to share my thoughts. My father-in-law was admitted for an emergency procedure, and what transpired during our visit left me deeply disheartened. Initially, we were given an estimate of ₹2,09,000 plus consumables for the procedure, but upon discharge, the cost had escalated to ₹3,57,000 - a staggering 75% increase. Seeking clarification at the billing desk, I received vague answers and was directed to the assistant doctor of the surgeon, who then asked us to wait for Dr. Mandar Deshpande. After a prolonged wait, Dr. Mandar Deshpande eventually met with us but became defensive when questioned about the unexpected cost surge. Despite my attempts to engage in a civil conversation, things turned unpleasant as Dr. Deshpande raised his voice and directed us back to the billing department. We would not believe a doctor could behave in such a manner. The situation escalated further when security was called, and my wife and I were confined to a room with the promise that someone from billing would explain the invoices. To our dismay, we were still waiting for someone to come for over 45 minutes, prompting us to consider leaving. Later, Rajashesh Savant, the senior security personnel, decided to come but immediately resorted to using foul language and even attempted to file a false FIR against us. He threatened us with a silly claim that I had kidnapped my father-in-law so that we would not pay the bill. We asked him to check the cameras that a nurse had released him, and second to think if our intention was not to pay the bill (and run away), then why would we go to the billing counter to ask for the bill to pay? Why would we just not run away without paying? I explained to him the reason my father-in-law had left a little early was because he was in pain after the surgery and he had to travel six hours to get back home, so we stayed back so that he could leave to get back home before it was too dark. When logic did not prevail, he asked his security guards to physically restriction us and attempt to seize our belongings. When tried to take pictures and videos the guard literally tried to snatch my phone by inserting his hands into my pocket. How can a medical institution employ goons like these? Ultimately, exhausted and under duress, we decided to settle the bill after intervention from a senior police officer. The entire incident unfolded in the hospital lobby, possibly captured on video. This experience has raised several concerns about the conduct of the hospital staff and the apparent lack of accountability. Seeing such behavior from a healthcare institution where open communication and understanding should be paramount is disheartening. Questions arise about the hospital's choice of personnel, particularly those who cannot engage in polite conversations and provide explanations when required. The ordeal also raises questions about the conduct of security personnel. Last but not least, observe the cleanliness when you are in the hospital. It is one the worst; besides the lobby, the wards and especially the bathrooms are not to the cleanliness standard of a medical institution. I hope to shed light on the challenges faced during my visit to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, emphasizing the need for better communication and a more patient-friendly approach from the medical and administrative staff. There are better hospitals in Mumbai, and you should consider those before considering Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

The worst experience every. My mother was brought to the ICU. Everyday the doctors in the ICU fought with the nurses as well as the patients family. It seemed more like a fish market instead of an ICU. The nurses were not trained and tied my mother hands and legs without our consent and approval. Instead of using straps to secure a patient they used rope which has scared her arms and legs. The nurses could not find her veins therefore punctured her arm in multiple places to give her injections. Do not go here because they keep family members there so that they can make money on restaurants, SPA and other facilities. More like a business and not a hospital.

[3rd Update] Rating unchanged. Left the hospital - discharge process was not difficult. But we'll struggle a bit even if there's slightly odd thing to do out of regular process. e.g. Getting a wheel chair for the patient took 40+ mins of waiting after everything was done. Other example was, patient required table fan on top of a/c as it wasn't cool enough and that required 1 & 1/2 day and scolding from the doc to respond by nurses. I am not saying nursing staff is not polite, all I am saying is at times they are too busy with priority items and are unable to manage or fulfil such lower priority tasks. [2nd Update] Rating unchanged. Added couple more photos. [Update] Rating changed from 1 to 4. So far in general everything is good. Doc is good. Procedure went well. Updating rating. We're still in hospital.. will keep posting... Beware of Mr. Jaiprakash at ICU. He's very unwelcoming and would let you in even when doc/nurse inside wanted you to be called in for specifics causing operational difficulty. Adding some allowed photos - it's of ICU waiting area. [Original Review] Phones are useless. Chaos everywhere. We’ve not even admitted the patient yet and humiliation have begun. You get either 4K room sharing or 8k room single nothing in between. My insurance company pre-approved partial amount so hospital is now asking for difference upfront, even though I do have top up that covers all the expenses. Yesterday we were told we’ll get a call from hospital for admission, today after reaching their desk as no one would ever pick up your call they said we’ve to book it a day before! As if we get the patient to hospital everyday and we didn’t know that process- wah!

To start with- 1. Excellent doctors. But- 2. Untrained nurses, when you hear KokilaBen Dhirubhai Ambani, you expect some standard. It was rather horrible. The staff was extremely snobbish, unhelpful, and very incompetent. Nurses can’t even find the veins, pricking multiple times, drip going out, air going to the veins- don’t bother. 3. Horrible nursing care. Nurses forget to give injections, forget to give medicines, dropped tablets on the floor, did not come when bell was pressed, unless until we personally go and call a nurse to come see the patient. 4. Anil and Tina Ambani, have charged us in lakhs for the hospital stay and yet their service, treatment and care is shameful. Paid such a high price for this horrible service. 5. Worst ICU I have ever seen. All resident doctors and nurses in ICU are very rude and arrogant. Freezing cold temperature of ICU, nurses are busy with documentation and leave the patient to die. My father kept asking for oxygen and nurse kept writing even knowing the gravity of the situation. This is how they treat the patient once you get in. 6. Just after 2 days of surgery, they gave cold and thick uttapam and idli to my father which he couldn’t even chew. Pathetic food for patients. 7. Doesn't even have any Grievance Redressal officer who can help you, the moment you ask where to complain- it’s nowhere. That’s very unprofessional. 8. Poorly managed, lift waiting time is more than 20 minutes, not a single person to contact in case you have any kind of problem, no one picks the phone. 9. We paid huge amount of money here for quality service and not for the huge inconvenience/poor service delivery. Please go somewhere else for the treatment so that you and your loved ones don’t have to suffer more in addition to the disease.

Pathetic staff ,very bad service, the nurses are not interested in doing anything i don't know they are not paid well or no one is just monitoring their behaviour, the patients relative has to go outside and call the nurse every single time coz they don't visit on the call button. Dr only visits once in the morning and if the patient's condition changes in the middle of the day, no Dr will visit or prescribe a new treatment or medicine, the patient has to wait in the same suffering condition till the next day to get checked and get a new prescription. The nurses are so rude and will reply rudely to your face. Room service will take 3 hrs to arrive. The very reason why they ask for heavy deposit because no one will pay in full after such pathetic treatment. They will also deny your cashless insurance. You pay everything first and then get it from your insurance. The hospital is all about money & "No Life Matters"

The doctors are fine but I just overheard a part of the admin staff say “ye Ambani ka hospital hai koi mamuli clinic nahi” to a waiting patient and their attendant to ask them to continue waiting. That is not a place of healing!

Posh & clean, but somewhat insensitive to elderly patients & their needs: 1. Some resident doctors do not know how to deal with dementia patients who cannot comprehend what the doctor is saying, & yet they continue to bombard them with instructions. 2. Some ward boys are very rough while lifting & shifting the elderly patients, thereby increasing their pain ! 3. The mashed food given to elderly patients without teeth, is so pathetic and cold that the patient can't eat it & has to stay hungry since home food is not allowed inside. 4. A dementia patient can't even tell that s/he is hungry or in pain, since no relatives are allowed in ICU to watch over them. 5. The ICU temperature is too cold for elderly patients to bear. Keeping a patient in ICU simply for observation, can actually deteriorate the patient's health. Elderly people, especially with dementia are like small children and need to be treated gently and with affection... This aspect is completely missing in this hospital despite the huge money they charge !!

Doctors, services everything is good. Hospital is so neat and clean, 5 stars to doctors and other staff but the canteen service is not good. Food qualitities really bad and rates are too high I really mean too high. I suggest please don't drink tea and coffee too costly and not good. I complaint several time about quality and rates but no response. If someone from hospital read this review please request you to make the changes. That will be really appreciate. Thank you

The so called ‘finest’ hospital has the most weirdest payment policy. All hospitals offer a cashless network, wherein you aren’t required to pay anything apart from a meagre deposit, provided you have mediclaim that covers your hospitalisation expenses. Most insurance companies offer an immediate approval of anywhere between 30-50% during admission and eventually end up covering 80-90% during discharge. This hospital expects clients with hefty cashless insurance to pay 50-70% during admission!!! Which effectively means, this hospital wants 100% payment before it even begins offering its services. This could possibly be for 2 simple reasons either they are not confident of the services they offer or they wish to unnecessarily hike-up expenses to meet their financial requirements. I suspect both.

The most managed and well named hospital in the locality which is Four bungalows Andheri west. With the processional facilities and also the services including all the live saving and helping hand under one roof. With the emergency wards and wings made for emergency accident and issues and also tagged with good staff in the hospital.

Its a decently managed hospital. They have a free OPD option but there's a set timing for that. You might get lost if you don't read the directions properly. Its expensive considering all the services they offer. But they do have some really good doctors here. The nurses are always there if you need them. They maintain good hygiene in the hospital. They have two ccds, and Starbucks along with a fine dining and business lounge alot of different things other hospitals wouldn't offer. There's a canteen as well, the prices are okay not too expensive. Couldn't take any other pictures because they have a strict policy.

Good doctors but horribly managed. No helpers for wheelchairs, you have to push your patient yourself. No proper direction and the floors are a bit of a maze. Sofas torn at the reception. Billing section/pharmacy people are busy chatting with eachother. A hospital that charges in thousands and lakhs, the service provided was horrible. Smaller hospitals are better managed. You reach there and attendants are there in seconds with a wheelchair and provide proper assistance to the patient.

Dear Hospital Administrators and Authorities, I would like to bring to your attention a critical concern regarding the hygiene and well-being of patients in Kokilaben Ambani hospital. It has come to my notice during my father in-laws treatment in your hospital that patients are experiencing significant delays in receiving basic hygiene cleaning of their beds after incidents of urination and vomiting. This prolonged wait not only causes discomfort but also poses potential health risks to our patients. I kindly urge you to address this issue promptly and implement measures to ensure that patients receive timely and thorough bed cleaning after such incidents. Timely hygiene is essential for their recovery and overall well-being. 1 support staff to take care of 48 patients is not enough. LOOK INTO THIS AS WE ARE PAYING MORE THEN A 7 STAR HOTEL TO YOUR HOSPITAL TO GET THE BASIC HYGIENE SERVICES .

ICU service good, but in WARD (twin sharing) was very worst. Suggesting to keep your patient in ICU as much as possible. There 99% nurses are from kerela and they don't understand Hindi, Most of them are trainees/freshers they are not efficient enough to perform their duty smoothly. Nurses and HCA are continuously blaming each other if we ask something for patients. Doctor visited ICU but no information given to relative about patient condition. 5 to 7 hour time took to transfer patient from ICU to ward. Patient food, billing, TPA service was good .

The nursing staff (inpatients after surgery) is very inexperienced & they usually are out of their wits for something as simple as a loose motion. You will find yourself getting clueless replies & looks from nurses. The cleaning staff and housekeeping staff is quite overloaded & won't be available without a 30 min wait. In case there is an emergency, doctor is not available. Only 2 rounds in morning and evening. In a nutshell, you're on your own after having surgery. If an emergency occurs, highly likely that the help you need, won't come in time. Nurses will keep looking at each other's faces & you'll fall dead.

a)I was told I am entitled for twin sharing under my insurance which turned out to be incorrect as per insurer b) Unprofessional nurses -Forgot to give injections, forgot to give medicines, dropped tablets on the floor, did not come when bell was pressed c) No control of visitors staying overnight in ward room. The other occupant had upto 5 visitors staying overnight, one visitor also wanted to share my bed. When I complained to nurse she was not bothered. This was during covid times d) No covid checks of visitors entering ward rooms e) Late night no temp checks at entrance as well f) Deposit was taken though it was cashless. It took them 5 weeks to send claim to insurer. THe claim was sent by a cheap courier and was misplaced. Despite reminders and visiting the hospital and sending email from Insurance company- the claim has still not been resent to insurance company. The hospital asks to follow up with insurance co who asks to have the hospital send the claim g) No one picks the phone. They announce est wait time 2 minutes and it becomes more than 45 minutes .

Excellent hospital, very polite and courteous staff. Excellent service. Trustworthy doctors and nurses. Extremely hygienic. Mask is compulsory here and Valved masks are strictly not allowed. This hospital has its own food court, as well as a Starbucks, Subway, and more than 2 Cafe Coffee Day outlets. The waiting area looks like an airport lounge. It's that beautiful. These things help in giving a therapeutic feel to the hospital which definitely helps when a person is stressed or unwell.

Recently a friend of mine was hospitalised here as a consequence of a very serious matter. We are both foreigners so you can imagine how difficult it is to be dealing with a life-threatening matter while in a foreign country. The service provided was very good. Doctors, nurses and all the staff in ICU were excellent, very professional but also very helpful from a human point of view. My friend was then transferred to the ward and again the service and assistance were outstanding. A big and grateful thanks to all of the medical team!! Finally a special thanks to the rehab team Dr. Tavade, Dr Physio Dr Sneha put great effort into constantly helping my friend. Thanks a lot!!!

Before Covid, it is a very team oriented company to work. Management strives to correct issues for patients and employees. Team meetings were interesting and filled with challenging projects which were fun. Especially when goals were accomplished. Work place culture was friendly and work ethics was important. Management and employees are cordial and management solves issues when appropriate. The most enjoyable part of the jobs was different projects and meetings to attend. I would attend the "zero harm" meetings which is awareness of harm within the hospital that might come from patient or family, etc. Strategies to combat these issues

This review is regarding online consultation. Too early to speak about the treatment, but for international patients which the hospital charges premium is not a good experience. The doctor should be respectful of the time. International patients have to adjust time based on the the doctor availability. The doctor cannot be showing 2 hrs late. This is unacceptable. Please improve this experience.

Very unprofessional hospital. First of all their management is really poor. Then talking about the doctors they are highly irresponsible people. They take your case and once the surgery is done they are not at all responding properly for follow up and treat badly. Would recommend not to visit this hospital ever in life.

The 750 bed multi-speciality hospital became operational in the first week of 2009. The project was initiated in 1999 by Nitu Mandke as a large-scale heart hospital, but ran into troubles after his death in 2003. Subsequently, it was completed by the Anil Ambani-led Reliance ADA group.[1] It had the first 3-room intra-operative MRI suite (IMRIS) in South Asia. The hospital is named after Kokilaben Ambani, wife of industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani, who was the founder of Reliance Industries.

Worst experience ever. Rude and non helpful nursing staff. And lack of communication between the staff. Also unhygienic atmosphere where the patient on next bed was spitting inside the dustbin and coughing badly, when highlighted the same they were not bothered about the same and took 2hrs just to provide help. Request you to better go to other hospital if you have the options then choosing this one

Horrible pest ridden rooms. The staff is well natured, just not efficient enough to solve the problems. On complaining about roaches in the room, we got told pest control has been called.. in the meantime you can kill the cockroaches!! This is what you are paying the premium for! The doctors seem qualified, though overpriced for sure

Worst experience ever!!!! Patient has to come 15 minutes prior to appointment and then the doctor is not available, if you ask the sister she'll say talk to the counter. Receptionist says ask sister you all charge good amount of money for specialist and then patient has to wait for an hour for the doctor, please raise your service as your name it will be much better.

Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital 🏥 is one of the best hospitals 🏥 in Mumbai and in India 🇮🇳 . Excellent infrastructure. Hospital is very clean. I've had my executive health check up over there. And I've got good experience at the hospital 🏥. Every department is marked with systematic colorful lines which you have to follow on the floor so as to commute inside hospital. No need to ask anyone unless you have colorblindness 😉. Reception staff at EHC are very helpful and cooperative. I've gone for routine medical check up. Doctors are knowledgeable. The most important thing I like about kokilaben hospital that they sends all the reports thru mail. No hassle or waiting for the hard copy of the reports. And food 🍲 is really good. You won't feel like you are eating hospital 🏥 food 🍲.

Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital is situated at the beginning of Lokhand wala complex in Andheri west a posh suburb of Mumbai. It is a large and spacious multi specialty hospital and provides health care facilities for almost all branches. For any large service facility, different patients will have different views depending on the outcome of their treatment. A landmark and a worthwhile contribution to Mumbai, no doubt.

Unfortunately the whole experience is hindered by horrible administration. Admission takes hours. The staff talks to you like they are doing you a favour.

It is the only hospital Laboratory in Western India to be awarded with an international accreditation (CAP) within four years of inception. The CAP Laboratory Accreditation Programme's goal is to improve patient safety by advancing the quality of pathology and laboratory testing services. The hospital project was initiated in 1999 by Dr. Nitu Mandke as a large scale heart hospital. Dr. Nitu Mandke was born in 1948 in a middle class family. He was the first member in his family, to choose medicine as a profession with a determination to become a heart surgeon. He joined B. J. Medical College, Pune from where he passed his M.B.B.S. in 1970, came to Mumbai for further studies and completed his Super Specialty course in Cardiovascular Surgery. He spent close to 8 years working with world renowned figures in Cardiac Surgery like Dr. Magdi Yacoub in England and Dr. Kirklin and Dr. Pacifico at the University of Alabama in the United States. He was an all rounder with exemplary proficiency in sports, arts, languages, mathematics and so on. In his lifetime he won the hearts of many and repaired many more through unerring surgery. He won various social awards like ‘The Rajiv Gandhi Gold Medal of Merit’ 1992, ‘Indira Gandhi Sadbhavana Award’ 1999, ‘Outstanding Man Of The 20th Century’ 2000, ‘Pride of India’ 2001, ‘Sarvashri’ Gold Medal 2000 and ‘Maharashtra Gaurav Award; to name a few. With great passion Dr. Mandke built a substantial portion of the hospital building. Sadly his dream was cut short by fate when he succumbed to a massive heart attack in May 2003; leaving a dream unfulfilled and unfinished. The management of Mandke Foundation approached Reliance Group, who graciously took over this project and developed it into one of the most modern and state-of-the-art multi-specialty tertiary care hospitals; naming the institution as – Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute. In honour of the initiator, the hospital’s Medical Convention Centre has been aptly dedicated to the memory of Dr. Nitu Mandke..

I wish I can give no star to this hospital, my dad was diagnosed with esophagus cancer stage 4. although they knew by various endoscopies the operation was not possible. But they decided to operate to make money. in the middle of the operation, they said, they can't continue and they need to roll back the operation. After the operation (which was done unnecessarily and charged us unnecessarily) he couldn't recover as he couldn't eat anything (due to cancer) Before being admitted to the hospital, My dad was fully motivated and he could climb stairs and walk. But after spending a few days in the hospital, he is in bed and on the ventilator. He is demotivated now. Even after spending money and time, my dad's condition got worse. there was no improvement. The office staff was rude. there was no discipline. All doctors go to OT together. There was no backup doctor left behind if the patient needs them. we need to wait for 2 hours in line if we need to talk to the doctor and Dr. is only available three days a week other days he goes to OT. they asked us to cooperate but they are not ready to cooperate. we became a puppet of their hands. it feels like someone put us in a maze and it was difficult to come out from there. They just want to keep the patient for some reason or other to make money. there is no humanity. shame on them.

KDAH is one of the good hospitals in Mumbai and especially around Andheri West area. It is conveniently located and has good facilities. Even though a bit costly for a hospital supported by richest man in India but the treatment support and facilities are great. In kokilaben doctors are supported by standardised care protocols that help deliver consistent patient care and follow a common treatment plan for a given illness. The talent pool is further strengthened by qualified and well-trained nursing and technical professionals. Kokilaben is the only hospital in Mumbai with Full Specialist System (FTSS) ensuring easy availability and access to dedicated specialists exclusively attached to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

Worst experience with this hospital, the doctors are much confused with the treatment to be given. It was 20th December 2023, when we took our patient to the hospital to cure brain stroke , for 15 days they were confused about the treatment and kept us posted that there is some infection. Ok even if it was infected they were unable to take any actions resulting into the death. We lost our family member because of weak treatment provided, the doctors didn't gave any updates for further treatment or further analysis. Also, during the final settlement and discharge, they kept us on wait for 3 hours due to some or the other reason. Pathetic internal communication between service providers too. It was the worst experience with this hospital i suggest never ever get any treatment from this hospital, they are very good in getting money from us but weakest with curing our patients. Would not recommend this hospital to anyone instead look for other alternatives. Suggestion to this hospital and doctors: please do not play with the lives and provide proper treatments and services. Being three times expensive than other hospitals, please provide services accordingly.

My mother was admitted there twice for 15 days. I have no issues with doctors but nurses are not careful to patients and when you give an emergency call to nurse, they come after 10, 15 minutes later. I observed management appointed very less no of nurses in ratio to patients. For pre-planned admission, you need to book room before coming to hospital unless you won't get room or have to wait 5,6 hours but I called at admission section for room booking for 3, 4 days but they didn't pick up call once. That is very disappointing from a big name hospital. If you go for OPD, doctor's consult , they will refer unnecessary test even for very minor problems problems.

I had my surgery recently in kokilaben hospital andheri. I was in twin sharing room. Hospital is clean, well maintained, and management is also good. But faced below major issue because of nurse staff. 1st - I was waiting for around 30-45 minutes after ringing the bell. 2nd - one of them removed iv line from cannula without caring and blood was coming out from cannula 3rd - Communication/language barrier - many of the nurse was not abl^ to speak hindi/marathi/english properly, due to which it is very hard to communicate with patient/patient relative's, i am not against any language, hospital being in mumbai they need to learn local language or hindi properly.

Best part is Lord Ganesh idol at the entrance. Dr. Nadkarni, oncologist seems to be the best surgeon. Only rich and people with sufficient mediclaim can afford treatment here. Every doctor's opd charge is 1500/- per visit. Huge hospital with highest level for cleanliness & hygiene. But poor elevator service. Much time is wasted in waiting for elevator. Outside food is not allowed. Inside they have canteen where you get nice food. They serve breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. 2 small idlis for 50/- Poha / upma @50/- Chole bhature @ 90/- Mini meal @105 (3chappatis, rice, Dal, sabji n papad) Buttermilk @40/- per glass. They also have food outlets such as CCD, Starbucks, Subway, Panipuri & momos outlet and so on. They have put up nice board of healthy food and good pictures. Doesn't feel like visiting a hospital, as good as 4* star hotel. But expensive. Stay healthy, stay blessed.

Pathetic services, not considerate towards cancer patient. They call the patient for immunotherapy 3 to 3.5 hours prior to the treatment. Called in at 9 am - doc comes in at 1130 & post that nurse starts the process which takes another 30 mins. Unnecessarily keep the patient waiting all day-who is as it going through a harrowing health crisis. poor nursing staff-Dr prescribes a certain dose, but the nurse orders higher dose & bills us for higher dose which is not required, we as payers are not informed. they decide to charge us 20k additional & throw away the medicines (I hope my patient is not given an overdose). How can this happen without any seniors approval? Is there more than meets the eye? Immunotherapy medicines cannot be ordered more than the required limit it is done with a lot of verification/otp documents check etc. How did the nurse manage to order 20 ml higher & also discard the excess without informing us???

Inspite of Modern technology the admission and discharge procedure is ABYSMAL . Checkins supposed to be at 12 noon , i/ we waited from 12 till 8:31 pm for a bed. In the meantime i had to pay for all the tests since my husband was not yet a an inpatient . He was discharged the next day due no surgery, at 9am ,but the nurse said it would tale 4 hrs, at 1 pm i went to the TPA DESK to know the status , they told me to go to billing, billing told they hv not recd any papers from the ward, i went to the ward (13 flr) they had not even started the discharge papers till 2 pm. I stood and refused to move till they did the papers . To cut the long story short after innumerable trips between TPA,, billing and ward got an “early” release by 4:30, otherwise i think wud hv been there till 8. So on one side patients are waiting 7-8 hrs to be admitted and and on the other the other discharge patients are occupying the bed for 7-8 hrs . Surely the hospital can improve its procedures !

Subject: Complaint Regarding Misguidance and Delayed Medication for My Son's Treatment Dear Hospital Administrator, I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment with the level of care provided to my son, [nayan Tekwani, bed # 12033], who has been admitted to your hospital. My intention is to bring to your attention some serious issues we have encountered during his stay, particularly concerning the nurses' actions. Firstly, it is disheartening to report that the nurses attending to my son have consistently failed to administer the medications prescribed by the doctors promptly. This delay in administering essential medications has resulted in a significant setback in my son's treatment and has raised serious concerns about his well-being. It is imperative that the medications are given precisely as prescribed to ensure his timely recovery, and this aspect cannot be taken lightly. Furthermore, we have faced multiple instances where the nurses have provided inaccurate and misleading information when questioned about my son's medication . As parents, we rely on the medical staff to keep us informed and guide us appropriately through this challenging time. However, the misinformation and lack of transparency have left us feeling helpless and distressed. We understand that the medical profession is demanding, and the hospital staff might face various challenges in their daily duties. However, the health and safety of the patients must always remain the utmost priority. The lapses in care we have witnessed during our son's stay have left us questioning the quality of service provided at your esteemed institution. I kindly request that you take immediate action to address these issues and ensure that such incidents do not recur. It is crucial that the nursing staff receives appropriate training and support to carry out their responsibilities efficiently and with utmost diligence. Additionally, we expect open communication and transparency from the hospital staff to keep us well-informed about our son's condition and treatment plan. We appreciate your understanding of the gravity of this matter and hope that you will take the necessary steps to rectify the situation promptly. Our primary concern is the well-being of our son, and we believe that your intervention can lead to a positive change in his treatment and overall experience at your hospital. We look forward to a swift resolution and a considerable improvement in the care provided to our son. Sincerely, Patients father : Purshottam Tekwani Patients name: nayan Tekwani Bed number: 12033

Worst service and attitude towards patients and attenders. Doctors are negligent towards patients and are just concerned towards increasing their billable. I repeat never!

My time in this hospital was nothing less than a nightmare. They lacked empathy and emotions towards their patients. I was there for my mother's cancer treatment, and the experience was disheartening. The doctor's attitude was as if they were the last bunch of doctors alive on planet Earth - always acting busy and out of focus, making it difficult to have a proper conversation. Despite spending lakhs of rupees the treatment was not upto the standards. the admission process was chaotic, and nothing seemed to be on time. It took an hour just to get the patient uniform. The nurses were hard to explain and non-attentive, making it hard to communicate our needs. Simple requests, like getting "HOT WATER". Like how hard it can be to get hot water bag for a patient who is pain? went unanswered till end of our sray. Overall, this hospital is the worst place to be in when seeking medical care. I would not recommend it to anyone. People travel from different states and counties in hope for a better treatment and it's just so sad and hurting to experience such pathetic treatment at last. Pathetic hospital.

No good staff..they aee very rude to talk to. I am here for my daughters' MRI which was scheduled at 1.30 pm. But the nurses here are very rude and when asked after waiting for an hour they dont have any clue when would they be able to take the test. Means no discipline here and no value for other's time. They charge a more than outside diagnotic centres even then they deliver worset as compared to other diagonostic centres.

My daughter is diagnosed with ITP hence i have been visiting several hospital for treatment. My personal experience with Kokilaben hospital was worst than a local day care hospital. My daughter was admitted on 16th Oct at 2 p.m., till 5:50 p.m. there is no medication nor any doctor visit. Alongside, there were 3 patients all had similar experience. The nurses are over occupied hence they hardly visit, there is no attention to patients. Each-one of us have reported service issues to the superintendent on 4th floor general ward, we all asked for review form while discharge with nurses on 4th floor, they said their tab is not working which is fishy. hence someone senior should take note serious steps for improvement. I would certainly not recommend any of my family members, friends to this hospital.

Hospital clean and good staff but bathrooms cleaning not done. No one taking care.. it's always stinking ,no tissue papers or toilet rolls..no housekeeping supervisor around to whom we can show the dirty washroom on ground floor...the bathroom cleaner was forced to clean but she was using one cloth to wipe seat covers which can be a serious breeding ground for infection and a dirty mop which could never dry floor..no Dettol or sanitizer in or around washroom .. dirty smell all over ..wash basins equally stained and dirty and wet on the counter...we request management to immediately take action to improve condition of such a gifted hospital ...there was no suggestion box found so posting. It's a request for all the washrooms conditions to be improved for patients relatives.

One of the reviewers got it right. The place may have skilled senior doctors but the junior doctors, nursing staff, support staff for diagnostic process are very poor. And the charges are exorbitant! My husband was admitted for possible typhoid however they never did a test for typhoid! Rather they billed us for over Rs 40,000 in a variety of useless tests including for scrub typhus!! So looks like the doctors are all asked to run a vast number of useless and expensive tests !! Either way, it is a highly inefficient place and may result in significant harm to patients who for some strange reason believe doctors are Gods:)). They really need to review the processes, get better trained junior doctors and nurses and stop billing for unnecessary procedures. An ultrasound cannot be charged 6000 and then make you wait for 2 hours to get it!! We were billed 40,000 for tests and diagnostics which are usually priced at half or even 1/4 of these charges. Some system of accountability needs to be in place in India for doctors and hospitals! Wanted to update that after the above review, based on the response provided by hospital, i provided my email Id and then I received one email from the hospital asking for the patient UHID, which I provided. I had also called the doctor to raise my concern regarding tests and to enquire Re need to continue antibiotics. However, I never heard back either from the doctor or from the admin staff! So much for response to reviews and feedback.

Overall experience in the hospital is not upto the mark, as I expected with. Hospital is having latest advanced machines, experiencing good and experienced doctors team. But they are lack in experienced nursing and junior staff. We have to make call again and again for ward boy and nursing staff to be attended with. They are least bothered about time schedule for giving medicine to patient on time.

🫤 Hospital is good. But we can't work there with a peaceful mind. The time of interview they said one thing and lateron they change it and compel the staff to sign in to the bond paper which is not applicable in any hospital. And hostel providing for the staff is not at all good. No proper ventilation...
